Daily Paul, This site is full of trolls,so start flagging their comments!
I have seen a few post this morning that are critical of the way Dr. Paul handled himself last night.
In short, you are a troll! We have many people coming to this site trying to bring our spirits down and to make us feel Dr. Paul was not at his best last night!
They are critical of how he handle's himself and try to point out how he should have done this or done that!
Look people, he knocked it out of the park last night and every other debate and if you see anything besides that then I question your motives! It is easy to point out how you would have done things different, sitting behind a computer, but stand on that stage all alone with very little sleep and fight for a group of people who in all intense and purposes are to arrogant or naive to see that you are trying to protect them from big government and I believe you would have to say that not one in a million could have come close to doing as well as Dr. Paul on that stage!
I am proud of his performance last night and every other night that he has fought for us!
He could very well be at the top of any tier if he would only sell his Country men out, but he refuses to do this!
He is laughed at, called names, called a loser and God knows what else, because he is fighting for our freedom! How many would put themselves through that humiliation for a bunch of ungrateful neighbors!
I know we as Paul supporters are grateful but the large majority are to stupid to see what is going on in our Country today!
I thank God everyday for what Dr. Paul is enduring for me! Great men throughout time have done such heroic things and to tell you the truth, I could not endure what this man has endured for all of us!
If you have something to say about Dr. Paul then I beg of you to make it positive or don't make it at all!

Complainers trolls aim to: 3D - Divide, Distract and Disparage
If one reads down through these post---you will see it--precisely.
Who needs Fox's sabotage...you fault-finders and gossips are doing fine.
it's exhausting
i just checked this site for the first time today and it is making my brain hurt.
I used to really enjoy coming here and finding out what people are doing to help the campaign.
Now it is mostly people trying to tell ron paul what he is doing wrong and how they know better. I'm so tired of reading how you all think you know so much more. Plus, I have a very strong suspicion that there are many people on this site who do not support Dr. Paul and are here to be critical.
Yes, of course there is always room for improvement. But Dr. Paul is doing his best in the heat of battle and you are offering criticism afterwards from your armchair. I personally think he held his ground yesterday and did a great job making the others look like the buffoons that they are.
It's no fun to read post after post of personal opinions about the debate. How about you tell us how many doors you knocked on, how many co-workers you talked to, or how you are working on a letter for your local newspaper?
You all are not helping anything with this stuff so please lay off. You are bumming me, and countless others, out. But maybe that is why you are doing it. And for that reason I support the idea of flagging posts that are not productive and negative.
ps. hey jonathan. Ron Paul does NOT need another suit. His is fantastic. I'm always impressed with how sharply he dresses. I have regularly thought that he is the best dressed one up there. so stfu and go do something good for the campaign.
you misunderstood... or I wasn't clear
I have nothing against his suit. My point is the same as yours.
Thank you for the post.
You're Out of Line
I know you're upset that Paul didn't perform to his full potential in last night's debate, but you're WAY out of line asking people to flag a comment just because it's critical of Ron.
This is not a cheerleading site. People post about strategy and reviews of the candidate. It's totally appropriate and understandable. We have every right to be upset about poor performance by the candidate.
So if your opinion is that he knocked it out of the park last night, that's great. But that;s your opinion, and you need to realize that other people have other opinions - and those people can be just as loyal Paul supporters are you are.
Suck it up.
But
But as grassroots aren't we supposed to be making a change? How can I go out and rebut the negative comments I'm faced with unless I know what they are? The people who answer the "trolls" are giving me the answers I need on the street.

got it. thanks.
I don't believe this thread is about banning criticism.
The point is that we don't need pointless criticisms of Ron Paul's suit.
There is a huge difference.
your the only one
Right now you are the only one complaining about, and keeps bringing it up, about his suit.
Its an example to support my point
Last night, the suit discussion remained active all night. If you go back and look at that thread, you will find I did not post once.
and why not?
I am at work as I am typing this, yet I am doing what I have been doing while at work just about every day for the last 6 months - obsessing over the Paul campaign.
This is NOT the official campaign website and it is not intended to be the public face of ron's platform. It is a forum where other like-minded people can discuss all things Paul-related.
If some of us want to start a thread and discuss something you may not care about or you may not think is "productive", then ignore it.
But if I want to discuss his suit, his haircut, or whether or not I like his accent, and I find others willing to engage me in this topic, I will continue to do so on this forum.
Feel free to ignore me.
fair enough, I hear what you are saying
My concern is that the discussion of his suit, haircut, accent are drowning out the real issues.
- money bombs
- rallies
- precinct leaders
- etc
I imagine you and I agree that some topics are more productive than others. I am for promoting the more profitable threads.
yeah, but I got about 16 waking hours in a day...
...and my goal has been to spend as much of it discussing Paul as humanly possible.
There's only so many debates I can get into about the money bomb, canvassing vs phone banking, etc.. (and I discuss this stuff A LOT on here and in the local meetup)
But what if I notice something... or something has been driving me nuts... re: his suit... I gotta find other Paulites to talk to about it. "Did you notice that too?" kind of thing.
Free speech
Even if they are trolls, they have a right to speak. This discourse is dominated by people who defend the right for people to speak, even if they are wrong. I would vigorously oppose any form of word or thought policing happening here.
Let those who place provocative views in here to bait the group into wasting time and energy, eat silence.
first amendmentfully yours,

Why don't
you take a cue from Ron Paul himself, and correct statements that you don't agree with? Instead of flagging negative posts, or having 'tests' for trolls, why don't you patiently persuade the offender? At the very least this is good practice for awakening people in your influence, at best it is a way to turn every post into a positive. By slamming people who post in a certain way as trolls based on arbitrary measures one tends to ostrisize these people. Are we not all Ron Paul supporters? Probably not. So it is our duty as RP supporters to address all posters concerns and views as if this could be our oppurtunity to potentialy gain another vote. Isn't this the intent of this forum anyway?
We must hang together, or surely we will hang separately
We must hang together, or surely we will hang separately
I agree with you 100%
That is exactly what this forum is about. I believe the concern here is not with people disagreeing with each other, but rather the many pointless and possibly intentionally divisive posts.
A few examples...
- Ron Paul needs to get a suite that fits him.
- Ron Paul needs to fire his campaign staff.
- If Ron Paul doesn't demand a recount, cancel MLK Money Bomb.
These are ridiculous! By all means, lets talk about the issues. My concern is that the real issues are drowned out by the noise of these ridiculous posts. I want the healthy discussion you are talking about. That is the way to convince supporters.
One last cover-my-ass statement. I am not arguing that the examples I gave up above are not valid concerns. They just don't make sense to discuss here. They should be directed to Ron Paul and the campaign where they can be addressed.
I agree...
Flaggers and Trolbots and Positive Puritans are just lazy butts. They should take the time to patiently persuade, make a better argument, or answer the criticism.
Treg
I have attempted to patiently persuade in several comments on this thread (one of which was addressed to you). I do believe we are both Ron Paul supporters. I am curious to know what you think?
Constructive criticism if great but trolling is not!
Ron Paul for President!!!
I went on the underground democrat a little while back and heard how many on that site were talking about daily Paul and how stupid we were over here.
When I attempted to join the site, I was flagged! We have been infiltrated with many people who come to this site to bring down spirits and to make foolish comments about Dr. Paul!
If you want to discuss how he needs to talk about immigration or the Fed reserve more that is fine, but if you are here to disrupt this site and be a troll then you need to move on and let serious conversation take place!
Not only that...
The dissent here proves to casual observers that we're not 'robots' of any sort.

The murmers and complainers never made it to the promiseland
Yep, I agree with you friend. Everyone needs to focus on the message of LIBERTY and be strong and courageous to take this country back.
We need to stand UNITED. All this should have, would have, could have, talk doesn't help people in the movement to stay focused.
Ron Paul has the spirit of Caleb and Joshua ....the only 2 out of the millions of Israelites that made it to the promised land.
I say we are going to get there! Do I get a witness??!!!!
Jesus is the saviour of the WHOLE WORLD, "As in Adam all die, so too in Christ ALL shall be made alive." (ICor.15:22) All means all. The pagan 'hell' of literal fire & eternal torment is a lie and is SPIRITUAL TERRORISM. http://www.hopebeyondhell.net/blog
One KEY problem with that logic....
...your TWO heros may have been "pure and righteous", but they would have LOST any democratic election held.
We need LOTS of people, a LARGE tent of acceptance if we are to get enough VOTES to WIN.
Loosen up, lighten up.

Didn't Jesus go against the establishment as well? I guess he got "banned" (crucified) in the end as well...But in the End of ends, He was/is right...
There's your witness.
there is a difference between
those who go against the establishment and those who simply murmur and complain. This is an important distinction to make.
Good Point!

And to carry that one step further -- Didn't Judas 'go against' Jesus? And look at what happened to him. Just be thankful we don't encourage any 'troll' around here to go hang themself.

The "trolls" will get weeded out. I lost too many RP supporters on another website because of just that, they supported Paul when the main website supported deadfred.
GEAUX RON PAUL 2012.

Frustration
I may have not been on this forum long enough, but think that most of us are frustrated. Ron Paul is fighting the good fight and the MSM and NEOs keep trying to blackball him. It is amazing to most of us that the truth is being told and the establishment is blocking him out. The truth is the same for them as it is for us. Will these dirty tricks never end? Thankfully RP just keeps fighting back.
I agree...
It takes a lot of courage for Dr. Paul to do what he is doing by going against the "establishment". The least we can do is rally behind him for better or worse. We NEED Ron Paul for the long haul!
