How cool is that! WOW!

This guy is really blessed and has a wonderful mind, and obviously lots of patience!
I am wondering how he worked the tires into this wonderful machine?
Now, this is something that Ron might be interested in!

there's a lot of genius around this planet

... which in these trying times as tyranny and global evil threaten to choke the life out of us would best be utilized in solving the problems caused by the Illuminati world-cancer organism.

catch a fire

I want one!

Where can I buy?

An alternative to the MSM Machine
Ron Paul friendly news:

let's remember that cardboard is....well....flammable. :)

Reminds me of Henry Ford's

hemp car. It was interesting how he applied origami techniques of paper folding to his cardboard bicycle project. I've often wondered if there was a relationship between ancient Japanese sword making(where they folded the metal many times) and origami -- sort of like the relationship between calligraphy and swordsmanship. Many of their leisure arts had practical applications.

Holy Cow!

Talk about reCYCLING haha!

That was awesome.

That was awesome.

End the Fed. End the Wars. Problems Solved. Ron Paul.

Story of my day. GREAT!!!!
Now Im happy again!

Thank you Daily Paul

I've seen wood chip fueled vehicles, cardboard bikes and Golden Minds. What a pleasant place to be.

I'll take my Liberty, it's not yours to give.

That's given me a nice inspiration boost. I can identify with that guy.. making everything rather than buying it. Not only is this a pretty epic home project, it could be a viable way to produce dirt-cheap transport :)

That is so cool. It the old if we put our mind to it look what can happen.

Id be impressed if

it were a unicycle

Hate to bust your balloons ...

The technique he used to create structural strength was talked about a great deal back when I was a young college student in the mid 1970s. I attended a presentation back then on its potential use to replace conventional building materials for home construction. Geodesic domes were all the rage back then as well. Then they had the inflatable buildings, the new bicycle design where you lie down on your back, and attaching springs to your legs to augment running (curved metal ... not like Wiley Coyote automobile springs on the bottom of your boots -- but the first experiments were with Pogo sticks). For years now, companies have mixed chewed up cardboard with other recyclable materials and mashed it all together into a strong, light-weight biodegradable material. It works better overall than the technique used by the bicycle hobbyist.

Correlation does not prove causality!

Downvotes LOL Are

...because it was a feel good post in a sea of cynicism!

I'm sure you are correct; however, if all the "failed" inventions that might have changed society (Tesla comes to mind) were ignored by the next generation of inventors simply because they had been thought of before, little forward momentum would be achieved.

Seems most of our inventiveness now days is DARPA funded. Commercial use/Military NWO use. Aargh. I still want a cardboard bike!

This shift occurred during WWII and I agree.

Have you ever read "Tuxedo Park"?

A great book about why and how that shift occurred.

President Eisenhower saw this occur and warned about it in his farewell address.

Tuxedo Park...I Will Order It I am rather fascinated by this *marriage* and how individuals fall...boom, ya know?

Recently my husband played jazz at a retirement reception for the founder of Qualcom, Dr. Irwin Jacobs. In his speech were two very sanitized gems. He spoke of how Qualcom was actually funded by and owes its existence to DARPA like so many other technical companies. The other gem was a sanitized version of the famous Bill Gates get together with other very wealthy people to encourage them to give the bulk of their wealth to philanthropy. The Jacobs joined up. Bill met a few weeks ago with wealthy winners of the "ovarian lottery" (Buffet's term LOL) from India to encourage the same. I do not think much of Bill Gates' philanthropy and truly wonder what is going on with this going after the very wealthy in many countries many of whom have benefited from DARPA-type funding. Are they building some kind of a NWO trust?

Did you know that two of the companies behind Gary Johnson's company's overnight success were Sandia and Los Alamos Laboratories who were also largely responsible for the the surplus the Governor left New Mexico with? Makes me go....hmmm.

Thanks...I am very interested in the shift. Guess I went on a rant.

That Rant, Along With This Video

They are both outrageously informative, and apreciated more than you may,or may not be aware of.
Thanks from me..and for all who "lurk" here.

You ... you ... you ... BALLOON POPPER ... you.

Obviously this is not a novel idea.

I remember building bridges out of balsa wood in grade school 35 years ago.

I think you completely missed the point.

And ... come on ... tell me the truth ... you don't hate popping balloons ... you are a giddy child with a needle.

"It's strong. It's durable. It's cheap..."

...and I guess it's light too :)

cheap? If he charged minimum

cheap? If he charged minimum wage for all the hours he spent on that bike it would probably cost $10,000. I do admire his determination.

i want one and i bet Dr Paul wants one too.

kudos for innovation

An example

of what once made this country the greatest country in the world. Entrepreneurs who can create a product that the people like, with great quality and low cost. To make a profit from it, and the people have well to do service by it. To compete with big corporations, and the government stay out of it. And Voila! The small little entrepreneur may end up putting the big giant conglomerate out of business! :)

Front Page? Really Moderators? Really?

Why don't you make my post front page?

Its 1,000 times more relevant to our cause of Liberty,

Are you really asking for a critique?

With the Tampa Convention coming up, making something from nothing but liberty is the theme of the R3volution.

Th Mistake the leader Ghoulinani made in 2008 is to shoot down giving media attention to an unknown.

Ron Paul seized the moment.

We don't want to repeat that mistake by shooting down at the Libertarian Party. As you point out the LP has got nothing but the liberty movement. Why should DP toot their horn and use their name.

We have a convention where the talk will be about the restoring the Constitution and how it is the surest and safest way to liberty for all.

But there are important Congressional primaries coming up, let us not fritter away the chance to dump a few of the terrible incumbents who have been infringing our rights and breaking their oaths of office.

I really see no spend time on anything but local races. The Executive is only one broken part of this broken system.

Free includes debt-free!

Its about why the r3VOLution works, about our strategy of

going inside the 2 party duopoly and why the LP will never ever advance liberty. That is worthy of a front page post.

If I want feel good, see clever inventions, I can watch the air car engine from India. Indeed, there are millions of feel good things on the internet. Cardboard bicycles, while interesting, is off the liberty advancing track.

What Next?

Cardboard homes for the homeless? Too bad that'd be illegal.

What do you think?

The government solution would be to leave them homeless.

I wonder how much it
