Dr. Ron Paul is going against a powerful evil machine. After reading this article I don't feel bad about the snowball attack. Not that I did anyway.

Good grief... that was long and rambling.

However, I did glean this point from the bowels of this book:

"Lots of people have dissected the Fox News Channel for evidence of bias. They're all missing the point. Of course it's biased. As you read ahead, you'll understand that in a manner never before understood. This is the point: Fox News is about indoctrination, not bias. The indoctrination was always hidden, as it is in the best advertising. Roger Ailes spent much of his life running political campaigns. He was never a journalist, and in fact he despised journalists. Fox News is not journalism, it’s a political campaign."

This is the point: Fox News is about indoctrination, not bias.

Brilliant article that explains why we love Dr. Paul:

Carl Cameron

Has anyone noticed how "Carl Cameron`s" ears get bigger when he lies, and not his nose?

Fed Up Vet

That's an interesting read.

That's an interesting read. I am looking forward to reading the next installment.

Well I laughed...

It just proves that people who work for that station aren't all that "f---ing talented" after all. He's really a writer? By whose standards? What a stupid read, and a total waste of my time.

I enjoyed it. you just seem

I enjoyed it. you just seem bitter and angry.

LOL

It was poorly written. That's the last I speak to you, tiny man.

huh? with me- little

huh? with me- little man?

Are you serious?

Yes, the writing couldve been better. But it was good enough - the important part in an article like that is the information. Also, it's just a prologue to something much, much bigger , so it's kind of incomplete.

Read this

Read this.

I want this book.

Google Daniel Cooper Fox

Smells bad to me...

The whole thing is poorly written and really plays on conspiratorial attitudes. Its so over the top and far too detailed to be legit. Please take this with a grain of salt.

Rupert (Fox-get it?) Murdoch was a nobody in 1975

RON PAUL RONPAUL RONPAUL RONPAUL
Thats when he was bought and paid for by the CIA to overthrow the elected government of Gough Witlam in Australia.. His financial sucess since then has all been due to the CIA. ...and you wonder how or why they (the CIA) control everything at Fox? Murdoch is "jewish" just like Shylock(h) in Shakespeares "The Merchant of Venice."

RON PAUL RONPAUL RONPAUL RONPAUL

flagged the "Rupert Murdoch" comment by "charlie"

Rupert Murdoch's religion has no relevance to anything (FYI - he is a self-described Christian, not that it should matter). The alleged CIA connection smacks of wack-job conspiracy theories.

Please think before posting rubbish that could hurt Dr. Paul.

rblauvelt are you one of the many trolls on this site?

RON PAUL RONPAUL RONPAUL RONPAUL
I find YOUR post offensive and stupid. Calling Murdoch a christian is like calling a snake God. Everything I said was true. You're too far gone but for the edification of others....Murdoch is a jew...you're the one puting a negative connotation on that not me. btw the "alleged" CIA connection was also made by the original insiders article which forms the basis for this thread...stupid.

- why are you supporting Murdoch on this forum ?.....hmmmmmmmmmmmm

RON PAUL RONPAUL RONPAUL RONPAUL

Charlie, I'm sure you meant

Charlie, I'm sure you meant "Ashkenazi jew" right?
And if Murdoch is a "Christian" I will eat my straw cowboy hat. And I really love that hat.

Pot calling the kettle black?

Dear charlie,

Once again, Murdoch's religion is of no merit.

For your information, the manner in which you referenced his supposed religion was highly offensive, especially with the use of the name "Shylock".

Also for your information, Dan Cooper's insider article makes no allegation of a CIA connection. Your tinfoil hat must have slipped down and covered your eyes.

I am not supporting Murdoch. I am condemning your bigoted language.

Ron Paul would be ashamed of you.

get off your high horse..

RON PAUL RONPAUL RONPAUL RONPAUL
and stop insulting Ron Paul by assuming to speak for his soul.

quote
"But unlike virtually everybody else, because I had to design and build the Brain Room, I knew it also housed a counterintelligence and black ops office. So accessing phone records was easy pie."

I know it doesn't actually say the words CIA so I'll let your puny little brain off the hook.
Greetings!

RON PAUL RONPAUL RONPAUL RONPAUL

charlie, please take my "high horse" and giddy-up out of here...

It is funny that your insults get more personal and offensive, even as you backpedal and alter your original claims.

Bottom line: You are sullying Dr. Paul and his message with your anti-semitic comments and your loony-toons conspiracy rhetoric.

If you really support Dr. Paul, you should pretend to be a supporter of Rudy, Mac, or Huck on their supporters' forums. That way, you would be discrediting those clowns, instead of hurting Dr. Paul.

Yes

It's not as bad as it sounds. its no different than the polo logo. it's just a sheep hanging from a rope strapped under his belly. I have quite a few BB suits and shirts. They;re the only suits i buy.

Brooks Brothers 'golden fleece' ??

Here's a comment from the article that I'm curious about:

It features one of my dozens of Brooks Brothers polo shirts (the ones with the logo depicting a dead lamb hanging from a rope, amusingly referred to over the many decades by Brooks as the Golden Fleece)

Is there really such a logo? That's just despicable if it's for real. Any BB wearers out there in DP land?

NOTE: I am not advocating violence in any way. The content of the post is for intellectual, theoretical, and philosophical discussion. FEDS, please don't come to my house.

"Fair and Balanced"

I've said this once. It might be worth repeating.

FOX News advertises itself as "Fair and balanced." I believe this is a deceptive practice, harmful to reasonable consumers

Based on the "Fair and balanced" claim, a reasonable consumer might be deceived into beliving that FOX is providing fair and balanced information. With the omission of Dr. Paul at the recent presidential forum, and a history of biased and unbalanced coverage of news, I feel FOX might be subject to complaint under the FTC act as detailed on the page below, by advertising itself as "Fair and balanced."

http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/buspubs/ad-faqs.shtm

Excerpt from the above page:

Under the Federal Trade Commission Act:

  • Advertising must be truthful and non-deceptive;
  • Advertisers must have evidence to back up their claims; and
  • Advertisements cannot be unfair.

Additional laws apply to ads for specialized products like consumer leases, credit, 900 telephone numbers, and products sold through mail order or telephone sales. And every state has consumer protection laws that govern ads running in that state.

What makes an advertisement deceptive?
According to the FTC's Deception Policy Statement, an ad is deceptive if it contains a statement - or omits information - that:

  • Is likely to mislead consumers acting reasonably under the circumstances; and
  • Is "material" - that is, important to a consumer's decision to buy or use the product.

I agree

It is rather long but it does give you the inside view of Faux Newz.

What FAUX really is

snipit from the article~

Confirmation!

Very interesting reading - but not surprising! However, I am sure there are many people who still think of Fox as "fair and balanced". But, the good news - (excuse the caps) FOX IS GOING DOWN!!

"Nothing is as it appears; everything is smoke and mirrors"

Thanks for enlightenment.

Quite a long article but if you sift through the self grandisement and get to the meat of the article about Fox, and the stuff about the "Brain Room'" all is very telling isn't it?
