Busting the Partisan Divide on Audit the Fed - 89 Democrats Are the Key!Submitted by James_Madison_Lives on Thu, 07/26/2012 - 17:35
Let's face it we have friends who, once they see "DailyPaul" or another Liberty source on an article, will stop reading right there. But despite attempts to force Audit the Fed into the manageable partisan Field of Broken Dreams, 89 Democrats in the House were forced by constituent progressives who weren't buying it. The Berlin Wall is showing its first cracks.
The battle will be won by breaking through the liberal stereotype of the Fed issue as a wonkinsh, paleoconservative throwback and to portray it for what it is: Grand Theft Country by a cabal of bankers who care for no one but themselves.
If you have friends on the Democratic side who won't touch a post with Ron Paul in the URL, send them this post focusing on the 89 Democrats who voted along with, not Ron Paul, but Occupy Wall Street. Maybe some don't behave or play nicely, but these kids know the score. For liberal-leftie friends who tend to get their opinions by looking around and seeing who is doing what, show them the video Storming the Boston Fed (in article.) If the Occupy kids are doing it, you know it's cool.
