Thats cool about Gary . .but

He does not understand the Federal Reserve, He does not understand Austrian Economics, and it is not his GOAL to shut down the Central Bank of the USA - The Federal Reserve.

He is worthless if he does not promote the evils, and the power of control, that the Federal reserve and the monetary system we run, has.

AL GJ posts go there.

You're only turning people away from GJ by spamming the Daily Paul.

GJ posts on the DP go there:

Here's the GJ grassroots site:

Why not in the liberty candidate forum?

Is GJ not a liberty candidate? How so?

I like this post bear wrote:

It's always nice...

when a legitimate question is asked and rather than giving an honest response, the question is just ignored and down voted.

I doubt there will be much talk of Johnson on here past this year - unless he wins. The reason why people talk about him now is because he IS a liberty candidate.

I believe Gary is more of liberty candidate than Rand Paul, and Rand has his own forum - for namesake reasons of course. What if someone got on here and asked you to vote for Romney? Rand Paul has asked you to vote for Romney by the act of his endorsement. GJ said he would rather die than to vote for either Romney or Obama. Rand has no issue with it - going-along-to-get-along. What more is it? Did Rand go-along-to-NOT-get-along?

So, why is Johnson not allowed in the Liberty Candidates forum? (Which no such restriction has been placed to my knowledge)

Liberty was NEVER spam here on DP

To say that the message of Liberty on the Daily Paul is spam is simply Romney style.

I say FU Romney scumbags.
Romney will never take over this site!!!

Now I'm a Romney scumbag? lol

You're actually turning people off to GJ, genius.
Your fellow GJ spammers "lib" and "Ashman" got banned and you still don't get the message?

There's a GJ thread, keep it there, both pro and anti GJ spams are counter productive to him and to the grass roots.

Maybe that's your goal after all...

He doesn't care and who he really is saying FU to

is the owner of this website with blatant in your face disregard so shut up Romney scum. : )

But just to assure you, the DP is not going to become the Daily Johnson. I have no intention of that. And while I don't have a problem with a few Johnson threads, some people have chosen to make that their pet issue and just wouldn't let it go. November 6th 2012 I voted for Dr.Ron Paul

I agree

Legalize, why do you have to be such an Idiot sometimes, You are not helping Gary Johnson's chances by attacking people, How many times does that have to be said.

I agree with Manniman, GJ posts have been getting spammed on here ridiculously, We are not stupid.

We are working TOWARDS TAMPA, We are WORKING FOR RON PAUL'S GOAL'S.

We will live by Ron Paul's Priniciples and Idea's, that being FREEDOM, complete Freedom!.

We will work to end the Federal Reserve, something that is not high on the Agenda of Gary Johnson Mitt Romney or Barry Obama.

We support Ron Paul and the End of the Federal Reserve.

Get it yet? We will NEVER stop fighting for what, Ron Paul has shown us, is Right!

..

I am 99% sure the owner here, and others at this site have instructed this troll to do what it takes to open the site up and get rid of die hard paul supporters.
the ironic thing here is that as they try to open the site, they are alienating people, new and old, who will make or break it after the election.
so the only way this site will survive in ANY form is if Paul wins the Presidency, which they are fighting against for their own greed!
Like all the others, theyve chosen the wrong side!lol
Thats why the money bomb is not front page. The new way to subscribe to the DP is on the front page.

"OH NO! He has a SON?" Neoconservatives and Liberals EVERYWHERE!

Rand Paul 2016

and in the course of fighting that battle...

if Ron doesn't win in Tampa, it may be a good idea to give a little support to the ONLY candidate that is officially in the general election that has said he WOULD sign on to the Audit the FED. Romney WILL say it, but he won't mean it.

Johnson supports the audit. Why do you misrepresent his views?

If Ron were president, all he could do would be able to SUPPORT the audit. There wouldn't be anything he could do if it never got to his desk. He couldn't end it on his own.

In that situation, RP would pressure Congress to pass the audit legislation. If they did, he would sign it and wait for the audit to show the underhanded dealing he had always suspected. In that event, he would suggest a transition plan away from the fiat system - End the FED. He would, once again, have to try and pressure Congress to pass that legislation.

All we can hope for is an audit right now. The FED won't be ended immediately, even under the watch of Ron Paul. So, anyone that WILL sign the audit legislation is a step in the right direction as far as monetary policy is concerned.

That's the first step.

He does not understand the

He does not understand the Federal Reserve, He does not understand Austrian Economics, and it is not his GOAL to shut down the Central Bank of the USA - The Federal Reserve.

He is worthless if he does not promote the evils, and the power of control, that the Federal reserve and the monetary system we run, has.

Plus, I DONT TRUST HIM!

What is the source here?

I don't see anything on Johnson's website that gives a clear picture of his stance on foreign policy, nor any original source for the above quotes. His latest commercial implies certain things. And I liked the commercial, but I'd like to see some official policy position.

I don't understand your reply.

Hand something to me on a silver platter? If someone posts a quote, it's normal to source the quote. I went to the site that was linked, but that didn't help, at least as far as I could tell. I then went to Gary Johnson's website and did not find such statements there. I'm not averse to Johnson. As I said, I liked his last commercial. I also very much liked a prior comm'l of his, which I forwarded to others. I've chosen to stop participating in the debates here; I'm undecided as to what I'll do should RP not get the nomination but figure there is time to figure that out after the convention, depending on what Ron Paul does and says. You're the one that brought this information up. If it is your aim to convince people that GJ is a viable candidate, namely, with respect to foreign policy, the onus is on you to provide credible sources, not to ask those you're trying to convince to play 20 Questions. I was offering you the opportunity to do that. But if you don't wish to provide further info, I'm fine with that, too. It's no big deal. Just disregard my question.

When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the Universe.

There is so much online

Here is one of the articles that I find right away:
http://www.garyjohnson2012.com/presidential-candidate-gary-j...

Johnson during the GOP debate:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTq1NNNXbSA

Johnson believes it "is important to have a strong defense both at home and abroad,"[19] and that the "military should remain the most potent force for good on Earth,"[20] but believes the greatest threat to national security at present is that "we're bankrupt."[7] He would include a 43% cut to the military's budget in his proposed balanced budget[7] by concentrating on defense, rather than offense.[7] He has stated: “When you talk about a 43 percent reduction in military spending, that’s going back to 2003 funding levels, not the end of the world".[21] He advocates making "better use of military alliances which allow greater sharing of the human and financial burdens at less cost of protecting national interests."[20]

Johnson says the United States "should resort to military action as the last option and only as provided in the Constitution."[20] He believes the continuing American military presence in Europe, in Japan and in South Korea should be reduced by at least 43%, and that the United States should end its military involvements in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya immediately.[7] He would propose cuts to the military's uniformed and civilian personnel, research and development, intelligence, and nuclear weapons,[7][22] all of which would be "carefully considered" rather than "across the board."[23] He supports reducing America's nuclear arsenal, asking, "Do we really need to blow up the world 23 times over, or would eight times be sufficient?"[23] Because Johnson has talked about humanitarian interventions, many libertarians have questioned if he is as committed to noninterventionism as congressman Ron Paul, who is running for president as a Republican.[6]

Johnson said in the April 2012 Daily Caller interview that he favors withdrawing or reducing American forces in Europe and the Far East, but not necessarily the Middle East. He also said he stood by comments to the Weekly Standard the he might support waging war for humanitarian reasons, saying he would not "sit idly by and watch something like the Holocaust go down." He also stated that while he thought drone attacks create more enemies than they kill, he would not necessarily stop the drone attacks against Pakistan or Yemen, leaving all options on the table.[21]

[edit] AfghanistanJohnson initially supported the war in Afghanistan as a response to the September 11 attacks, reasoning, "We were attacked, and we attacked back."[24] But Johnson opposes continued military involvement in Afghanistan, stating that "after being in Afghanistan for six months I think we effectively wiped out al Qaeda."[24] He believes America "should not be borrowing money to build roads, bridges, schools and other infrastructure in foreign countries, especially when such help is currently needed at home. Non-military foreign aid around the world is something we cannot currently afford."[19] In April 9th, 2012, Gary Johnson told The Daily Caller that while he would withdraw military forces, he wouldn’t rule out leaving behind American bases in Afghanistan.[21]

[edit] IraqJohnson opposed the Iraq War from its beginning,[3] he has called for the continued American presence in Iraq to end.[25] He says that because "Saddam Hussein has been out of power in Iraq for nearly eight years," American troops "must leave so Iraq can have a chance to grow into a responsible member of the world community."[20]

[edit] IsraelWhile running as a Republican Johnson stated that he "supports the right of Israel to exist as a sovereign country and believes that the United States should protect that right militarily if needed."[19] He also stated that Israel is an important ally, and that America's military alliance with Israel should be maintained, but that he opposes financial aid to Israel, as he does to all countries.[7] He has said he would not follow Israel or any other ally into a war that it had initiated.[26]

[edit] IranJohnson told the Daily Caller that Iran has not been engaged diplomatically in a serious way. He would remind them that if “Iran launches a nuclear warhead they can be assured that they will no longer exist” and that the attack "will be from Israel.” He also would offer to open up trade with Iran.[21] During his Libertarian Party campaign he stated that he does not believe Iran is a military threat and would use all his presidential power to prevent Israel from attacking Iran.[26]

[edit] LibyaJohnson opposed American involvement in the Libyan Civil War.[27] He believes there is no "clear goal for our military actions in Libya," and dislikes that "the American people are footing the bill" for military operations there.[20]

Don't know much about G. J.

But your words are not making me like him much more. . . is that your intention?

I get that your apparent message is up with Gary Johnson... but you come off like an establishment troll who's main intent is merely to sow division in the Liberty Movement.

Thank you.

Just too bad I had to be reminded all over again how obnoxious Rick Santorum is! :)

The Frothmeister...

is always delectable.

I do not

Care for Johnson, but when he is correct, he is correct. Just be careful whenever he is interviewed by the weekly standard; he seems to lose some of his strength judging from past interviews he has had with the weekly standard.

Unfortunately

He is not intellectual enough imo - I think this hurts the youth vote since more and more youngsters are more and more worldly today even though they most likley have difficulty pulling a nail out of a board lol

donvino

not sure what you mean

GJ is totally cool...so these days being free is no longer cool?

Some of the down votes are apalling...

Is this the Anti-Liberty Daily?

We need some of these better Johnson posts on the front page. These trolls are voting against principal in their effort to detract from GJ. This behavior should make it rather obvious that there are RObamaBots amongst us.

Let's focus on the positive

They would not rate it down if they felt the message is not spreading.

Let them be scared and let them rate it down.

The 'Liberty Train' is coming!

And what about

Sudan, Congo, Syria, Pakistan, Uganda, Myanmar?
The list of US, UN, NATO interference in countries where they have no right to be is almost endless.

Did you bother to go to that link

Sudan, Congo, Syria, Pakistan, Uganda, Myanmar --
those conflicts do not affect US security and GJ would not get involved there.

Unless it's for

Unless it's for "humanitarian" reasons, right? He says he supports U.S. military intervention in Uganda to root out the Lords Resistance Army and kill its leader, Joseph Kony. He thinks drone wars creates more enemies than it eliminates, but would keep drone strikes on the table. He has stated he would keep our military bases throughout the middle east, even though we should "completely" withdraw from Afghanistan.

And my personal favorite, he says we should remain vigilant to the so called "war on terror". He kind of reminds me of 2008 Obama when it comes to foreign policy. I have just recently learned of his strong ties to the CFR, which gives me even more reason to pause.

The US

is already in these places.
Also it is not when US security is at risk....it is when her interests are at risk...and that is an entirely different thing!
