UPDATED: Richard Gilbert Speaks about Romney's "Crime Syndicate" - and our Duty as Ron Paul Supporters
Submitted by robot999 on Sat, 07/28/2012 - 12:03Richard Gilbert speaks about Romney's "Crime Syndicate" (his lying, cheating, stealing of the election), and Romney's support of NDAA, Drones, and other Evils.
He goes on to talk about the Duty of Ron Paul supporters to fight until the battle is over (win or lose) to restore the US Constitution by electing Ron Paul POTUS.
Now that the Campaign has officially challenged the Oregon, Louisiana, and Mass. delegate "results" (achieved by outright criminal activity by Romney and local GOP thugs), maybe you can think about supporting Richard, his team, and our Lawsuit against the RNC, and State GOP Chairmen - seeking to unbind the Delegates in Tampa!!
(Unbind by court order - not by some GOP rule or "promise" - which they have proven time and again can be broken when convenient.)
P.S. Have you ever considered that there just might be information and a plan to elect RP that you don't know about? Don't give up, keep fighting!

The position that the Defense Attorney is taking
is very unlikely that that represents the views of ALL the Defendants. You are very emotional about being sued it does not alway have to represent an adversorial position. It is a means of resolving differences. If the the Defense agrees with the Plaintiff that the delegates should be unbound then the case for the most part is settled. Stop attacking Gilbert by calling him names, it doesn't help your argument at all, it seems childish.
"You are very emotional about
"You are very emotional about being sued it does not alway have to represent an adversorial position."
Um, yes it does. Always.
Additionally,
he proclaims his position that the complaint is made on behalf of the delegates, no matter who they want to vote for, and this case does not involve candidates. But then he introduces this conflict of interest "strategy" regarding the state chairs who are Ron Paul supporters.
In opposing the motion to dismiss, he makes no attempt to refute the actual case law presented by the defense, who happen to be experienced in election law. Instead, he claims that he doesn't have to address the issue of fraud, since this is a 'federal question' case.
He then proceeds to enter into the record hundreds of affidavits and video interviews claiming fraud.
The judge doesn't even have to look at all those to decide this case. Since it is a 'federal question' case, I'm guessing that question will be answered by telling Gilbert to stop wasting the court's time.
This is interesting because they were apparently warned
I found this tonight while scanning some of the (endless) old lawsuit threads to better understand this INSANITY http://www.dailypaul.com/238032 posted on 6-11-2012
Where the ZshNinja (since banned) prophetically told one of the L4RP (named "Jerry Davis" who I've seen on a L4RP Ron Paul Tribune chat and I THINK is one of the paralegals --please correct me if I am wrong) told him the EXACT case law that would be used against them.
"
... you tout the super-security of your site and how we don't want anyone to get a hold of the delegates' names, but Jerry, think for a moment. If the delegates have to “sign up” to gain access to the “secure forum”, then please tell me, what exactly is stopping a mala fide operative from signing up just the same, and not posting a delegate story, but just harvesting the intel?
Anyhow, once you've figured out the answer to that, here are some cases you may want to review:
O'Brien v. Brown, 409 U.S. 1
Ripon Society et al v. National Republican Party 525 F.2d 567
Understand the salient points in those cases.
Oh, btw–> knock off that internet drama queen, ALL-CAPS bs.

To which the L4RP "Jerry Davis" responded
"Zsh Ninja -- You are a tool...lol Later loser."
These people are really infuriating. Bless your hearts those who have battled this kind of ignorance for SO LONG and not gone crazy. I have been here less then 1wk and I can tell you that reading about it on the sidelines was infuriating enough but offset by the really thoughtful yet no nonsense posters. Most of them are gone and I don't posess the ability to keep totally cool while repeating myself 8 ways till Sunday. Again, bless those of you who can "Danton", "lawdida", "fonta", "TheGranger", "gopper", "FBI-Exposer", "rhino", "Eric Hoffer", "Steve Dickson" -- you all know the score (and have great senses of humor!). Thank you for fighting for SANITY

You haven't seen the half of it. The best threads got taken down. On a few of them Richard Gilbert himself went crazy and threatened to force the Daily Paul to disclose names so that he could sue people who dared question him. Did anyone save any of those threads? Its was actually quite intimidating, I was scared for those people.
Yeah
I was annoyed when I saw Zsh banned? what did he actually get banned for? He provided ALOT of very relevent info.
This case to me seemed DODGY, Divisive and Illogical from the very begining.
I second your sentiments.
One Reason for the Banished
...is that there are a few names you don't mention on the DP as possibly being guilty of any wrong doing associated with this lawsuit. Zsh not only mentioned these names, he and others uncovered wrong doing in their pasts that illuminate what is happening now. It *may* be better to leave some things alone ... for now as "who did/is doing it and why" is less important than "what is happening, the impact it might have, the damage it has already done to the campaign., and, the necessity of increasing awareness of scams and dirty politics."
Some of us know a few areas to stay away from and try to tow the line because we feel it is so important that this be exposed. Given there will be an ongoing liberty movement in line with Dr. Paul's principles and platform, there are *some* people who should lose credibility so this doesn't happen again.
And, DZ...dodgy, divisive and illogical is sure right on!
fonta
You know,
If I'm remembering correctly, Zsh started out not suspecting those very same people. He only called them out later with facts. I'm floored that he was banned for that.
I Was As Well
...he saw red flags and connected some dots and sounded an alarm. Of course, he had fun with some posts when people were either lying or ridiculously confused and he was very good at it. But it doesn't seem like that would get him banned. Done all the time and even Michael has said that the Dp gets a little rough at times! I study past posts and those connecting the dots were and are just ordinary people who see Ron Paul as extraordinary and had/have no agenda other than "truth." Distinct similarity in all cases.
However, as I was a participant in some of the dot connecting, the humor actually felt necessary as it was getting intense and the humor was almost like stress relief. I ,for the most part, have cut back on my researching as it was almost too easy to do...too alarming...and too deep. I scared myself!
As far as the "why." People who have a $$ political agenda almost always operate in the same way. First, it is essential that they build a base of supporters. They say things...and they try sometimes to offer something that will be perceived as something nobody else has or would do. (But there are motives nobody would expect once they have established themselves.) They know there will be some people who will say X or Y has really done some great things for the campaign so this can't be true. These people tend to have the same liners that they throw out over and over, ad nauseum. And, lastly, they never ever cop to anything. They know what they are doing...they have done it before successfully.
I believe (but do not know) that the banning was totally due to some people perceived as being a great friends to the RP Campaign all of a sudden being exposed as something else. I also assume that the person or people banning Zsh did not want to believe what was being said. They felt it was better not said and maybe they were right.
Sorry for the length, but here is my primary concern. We have a lot of people riding on Ron Paul and calling themselves "liberty candidates." They need to be vetted in exactly the manner Zsh Ninja was going about it. Some are, indeed, true liberty candidates. But some are definitely not. I hope the future DP allows intense vetting, because the tentacles are easily researched and sometimes deep. The deception and understanding of human nature and how to manipulate it is very sophisticated and there are people who enjoy that. They deal in non-truth. Lying is second nature. The end justifies the means and chaos is part of the means so they can then establish "their" order...not the order that would follow truth.
They need to be discussed somewhere. And, like most things in today's world, it is the backers and who stands to profit that is most important in finding "truth." It is getting so convoluted that
seeking truth can take you some places you don't want to go. You wish the world was not like that. At least, I wish it were not.
fonta
To move forward
we need a place where questions can be asked and facts can be made public. Great post Fonta, I hadn't thought of it exactly that way.
Truth is stranger than fiction in politics. The thing that surprises me all the time is the actual level of organization of our opponents. You'd think that people had something better to do than plan infiltrations, but it happens all the time. You'd think that the amount of organization that is necessary to routinely pull these stunts is unlikely, but its there.
I also wanted to believe good things about certain people who had established themselves as activists. But I've been around long enough to have personally met some of the operative types, and I know how common they are. I've learned from past mistakes that there are two things we need to understand if we want to win: first that this is standard operating procedure for the opposition and we need a good information-sharing clearinghouse and second that we must never give ground and keep coming in greater and greater numbers. Dr. Paul gave us the best game plan, this site gave us the clearinghouse. I'm struggling to understand how we can keep the communication system going.
Keeping the Communications System Going
...is vitally important and I also have been thinking about that as I am not sure the DP really wants to be "that" place.
I would imagine after August if we don't get our miracle, this may not be "the" place at least from August until November. How many of us want to visit the Daily Johnson every day if we have done our research and are just not interested? We could get dispersed very quickly. There are so many great thinkers, americasos, as you know who just aren't here any more.
Think about it some more...and all others who are interested.
fonta
Count me interested.
I also look forward to the day, very soon, when I can put our story out there. It will be before the convention, probably in another 7-10 days. I am still going through the Respondent Statement of Position (15 pages), Affidavits (21 pages), and Exhibits (108 pages), all put together by attorneys (that would be plural). For the record, I am not an attorney - I'm a regular guy that happens to have 4 kids, so this eats up all my time figuring things out. It's a lot cheaper for me to write up responses and have the attorneys review it, than the other way around.
I agree with you
Johnson is going to be a flash in the pan and when he's out, then what?
Maybe Michael will be ready and willing to sell the DP?
Always nice to see YOU (((((fonta))))))))
STAND WITH RAND 2016
Richard is talking about this "conflict of interest"
which he "assumes" exists between the Defendants' counsel (Mr. Bell) and any of the State Party Chairmen defendants who are Ron Paul supporters (yet are still being sued by Richard).
So Richard, in imagining that these people WANT to be SUED thinks that there is a conflict of interest between these lawsuit-loving Ron Paul supporters and the lawyer the RNC hired to represent them, and Richard has "demanded" written and signed conflict of interest waivers" signed by all of these Ron Paul supporting chairmen (and Richard "demanded" Mr. Bell to produce them 3 hours after the email was sent, lol).
Mr. Bell responded by saying that if Dr. Gilbert has PROOF of a conflict of interest then give it, but otherwise there is NO conflict of interest, because irregardless of WHO the defendants support they ALL share the common interest in NOT WANTING TO BE SUED IN FEDERAL COURT.
So Richard, on page 439 was just reiterating his unsubstantiated claim about that these Ron Paul supporters do in fact want to be sued.
I suppose in his head - it simply makes perfect sense.

Shows Why People Like Granger
...who exercises her freedom of choice and her best educated understanding of what Dr. Paul instructed all of us to do and does not move from her conviction, is AGAINST this lawsuit which, in effect, is suing people who have secured positions within the Party. (some Party this is turning out to be : ( )
Read Leonardo one more time:
"which he "assumes" exists between the Defendants' counsel (Mr. Bell) and any of the State Party Chairmen defendants who are Ron Paul supporters (yet are still being sued by Richard)."
And to add insult to injury to lunacy and deception...this is self-proclaimed "Lawyer FOR Ron Paul" representing Ron Paul supporters.
Anyone who DOES NOT understand why some of us have been so outraged by this travesty and consider it even more fraudulent then the dirty "good ole boy" tactics, need to think this through. The "lawyer" is neither "for" Ron Paul nor for his supporters. The "proper" way to use the legal system has been outlined and demonstrated by both the Campaign and Steve Dickson. And, it makes PERFECT sense.
fonta
A way more qualified lawyer for this than Richard Gilbert
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cp1jzNEOTCw
AAHHH...Belly Laugh
....I shall reconsider this art form as that was ... well, I loved it given the circumstances.
I think it is possible that a more qualified, honorable and dignified (I say honorable and dignified because we ARE talking Ron Paul) lawyer could be located by the old..."eeny...meeny..miny..mo catch a lawyer by the toe...if he hollers let him go...eeny...meeny...miny...mo" methodology. But that's just me.

Better Call Saul!
Sorry couldn't resist. I highly doubt this guy is a Romney plant. It's just too tragic and comedic and non professional. I see where he is coming from and I see where the detractors are coming from. I don't know how to say it without insulting people from both sides of the fence. It would be nice if he dropped the whole L4RP thing and made it lawyer against election fraud or something.
Don't forget the campaign is and has been helping delegates.
Thanks for the entertaining video.
I think he's had a few too many greenies and crosstops in his coffee and it's time to spike it with brandy and pheno.
letronpaulspeak? He already does.
Brandy and pheno - LOL
Good comment.
Instead of lawyer against election fraud (LAEF),
I humbly suggest the following improvement,

Plaintiff's submitted video tape evidence and affidavits
Defendants Motion to Dismiss for lack of evidence should be denied. The issue of legal remedy is determined if the court decides it has authority to tell the RNC that it must comply with the Federal voting laws. I believe the Motion to Dismiss should be denied on that basis also. But, we will see. Interesting.

Around page 400 or so it
includes the (RNC) Defendants' Motion To Dismiss and Gilbert's Opposition to the Motion To Dismiss.

November 6th 2012 I voted for Dr.Ron Paul
"We must remember, elections are short-term efforts. Revolutions are long-term projects." ~ Ron Paul
Wow, that guy is strange. I've never seen him before.
Are people sure this is even a real video of Richard Gilbert, and not just a parody or joke?
This guy is discrediting himself, like a disinformation agent.
I have not been following "the lawsuit," though I support all delegates legitimately suing the corrupt GOP and RNC. However, if this is actually the attorney handling the lawsuit, I would tend to agree with those questioning his true intent.
Ron Paul's Convention Speech
Yes its definitely him
He linked to it from his absolutely INSANE twitter page
Oh, good news he's making a NEW video Monday that will be in his words, "even more hard hitting" and "fierce hand-to-hand combat - not for the faint of heart".
Lookout.

This is so disheartening
Folks, even if this guy is legit, you don't have someone like this in front of the public--leading any kind of action that involves public relations--because they can inflict more longterm damage than good. So this is a video directed at delegates and he's talks about FEMA concentration camps!?
