Ashman

You do understand that you would do much more for Johnson if you would wait till after the convention, right?
You're just pissin some off at this point.

Personally I don't care much about your comments but too many here do.

We don't have time for that.

We don't have time for that. I wish we did, but we don't.

I would agree with you entirely except for a few things.

1. Ron Paul quit campaigning

2. He has been locked out of a chance for the nomination in every single way possible.

3. His son has endorsed his opposition.

4. He is considering who he will endorse.

There is no path to the Presidency via the Republicans UNLESS Romney quits or is run over by a bus.

Tampa is a coronation, not a nomination.

So you can ignore those realities or you can start thinking of other ways to make a difference and advance the football. I don't care if you vote for Virgil Goode or push Ron Paul to run as an independent or what. But don't get angry at those of us who see reality for what it is. If you pull off a Tampa miracle somehow, I'll vote for Ron Paul, I've already promised you that.

There is time for that.

Your time is spent completely ruining Johnsons chances of getting the support of everyone here.

If Paul doesn't get the nomination or go 3rd party, I'll vote for Johnson but many others here won't because they feel like he's being pushed on them too soon.

In your haste to get Johnson support, you're costing him support.

Oh , I will NOT be voting for Virgil Goode.

He doesn't need everyone's

He doesn't need everyone's support. He just needs some of it. Many will write in Ron Paul. Some will sit out. A few will even vote for Romney because they promised their overlords they would.

I'm not pushing Johnson at all. I've simply been defending him. Trevor and Legalize Liberty and a few others have been doing the big push.

Can you give me an example of when I've said "hey, you know, you should vote for Gary Johnson if Ron Paul doesn't get the nomination"? I mean, I may have said it, but I can't remember ever doing that. I've been simply responding to falsehoods and mischaracterizations designed to make sure Ron Paul fans won't vote for him.

I HAVE said that people should vote for Ron Paul if he gets the nomination or runs independent and have said that I will too.

And I have more faith in people than they have in themselves. I don't think anyone will change their vote because they don't like me. I seriously don't believe that. They say that, because it's a way of intimidating behavior. But I've seen this in other forums, it's a common tactic. It's just a way of stifling discussion, and a disingenuous way at that.

I agree

I support both Paul and Gary. But I much rather see A President Paul. At this point, there still is a chance. After the convention, we shall see. I support Liberty above all else.

Interesting. I wonder how

Interesting. I wonder how his faith will serve him come August 31.

That being said, I doubt there is any communication at all between the Ron Paul and Gary Johnson camps at this point about anything.

Ron Paul has shown repeatedly that he's not looking to win this and he has no fire in his belly to do whatever it takes to get there. He is simply coasting to a stop.

Do you ever leave the keyboard

and actually promote Gary Johnson?

You spend hours here on DP giving us your opinion of Paul and Johnson. Do you ever go out and do anything?

I can't help but wonder why you spend so much time here telling everyone your opinions, but never have I seen you post about something you actually do to help Gary Johnson.

I know you have been told time and again where people stand on Paul vs. Johnson, yet you keep on and on and on. And no, I never down vote you. It is VERY rare for me to ever down vote anything here on DP.

Anyway, good luck with Gary and all...

I babysit while my wife works a lot of the time, so the kids play, I type, not that it's any of your business exactly.

It's good that people are here that realize what is going to happen in Tampa so it doesn't come as some sort of mass shock, complete with hysteria, recriminations, insanity and who knows what else.

We need everyone on board for the next best thing with this officially comes to an end next month. We don't have time for weeks of moaning and crying.

Unless this really is all about the man and not the movement, in which case, make the write in ballot, but know in advance that it won't count for anything except a moment of feelgood.

Based on your reply,

I can safely conclude that no, you don't ever go out and support Gary Johnson. You sit at home and type. Got it. Thanks.

Four simple words you should take to HEART

F you, GO AWAY!

Semper fi my ignorant friend. You have done everything you can to make sure I vote for the communist asshole we already have if Ron Paul is not elected. I would probably vote for Gary if it wasn't for your constant f*(k()g posting GJ drivel!

I will not vote Romney and now I can't make myself vote for Gary just because of your CONSTANT PRESSURE. GARY IS screwed WITH me!

You and the next best thing can suck a big one. I can live with four more years of OBAMA. Can you?

Jim

Actually, yes, I can. It is

Actually, yes, I can. It is better than Romney at this point.

The Republicans have become insufferable, but in an equal and opposite way to Obama.

So the last thing we need is a united Congress with Romney acting as the rubber stamp for whatever foolishness they want to do.

So we agree on that. Obama - finally the lesser of two evils.

But seriously, think about it. You're upset at me, so you're going to let that affect you vote.

There are people HERE that are holocaust deniers, anti-semites, anti-black, anti-gay, conspiracy theorists and other things. But I won't let them affect my vote for Ron Paul if he is on the ballot. To the contrary, people like you made me realize that voting for Ron Paul first makes more sense, this being almost certainly his last run and for other practical reasons.

We're all on the same side, whether we like each other or not. The opposite of like isn't hate.

Please leave.

I'm sick of your attitude and disrespect here.... Please leave.

Disrespect? We're talking

Disrespect? We're talking actual reality.

TMOT is banking on something that just isn't going to happen, as I said, short of Romney getting hit by a bus and probably not even then.

This has been one long teaching moment about how the Republican Party will always protect itself from people who aren't with the establishment program, which is primarily MIC driven.

If the Republicans had any respect for the movement, Ron Paul would be the featured speaker.
