None of the above campaign . Who is with me ?

If Ron Paul does not have spot on the ticket what do you say we get all the apathetic together to write in none of the above. Considering only half the population actually votes (the other half is mostly in the know of no difference) the voting public is usually voting against somebody not really for their candidate . Essentially we have presidents being picked with 25% of the population at most actually liking the person .
It is far easier to convince unhappy people to vote for no one than to teach them why to vote for someone . Do you realize what a powerful message that would send here at home and around the world ? Once no confidence is clearly displayed then we can have the conversation about Liberty and constitutionality .
This was my contribution to the awakening of those not getting information through the internet . My little am radio show 7 episodes done . Not hard or expensive to spread this message.

Vote none of the above. From Richard Pryor's 'Brewster's Millions'

Vote a third party

Your vote will get thrown out if you don't. Several third party candidates to choose from.

Name One

good third party candidate!
My guy, R.J. Harris of Oklahoma was over taken by Gary Johnson and I will not vote for Gary Johnson. Writing in Ron Paul still is my best option! Did it in 2008, can do it again in 2012

Who would this impress?

Do you really expect the media to dwell or even focus on an abnormally large none-of-the-above vote?

New Hampshire and Ecuador.

Depends on the state

If it's a swing state, I could see the losing campaign crying foul when some precincts have 25% undervote.

bump

for the most realistic option of change .

Daily paul where good ideas go to die

It is amazing how many good ideas here get passed by only for us to be convinced of operating with in the corrupt system to change it . You can not win a rigged game you can only win by showing others not to play.

Undervotes

I've mentioned this strategy a few times; always liked the idea since:

in close states, the undervote percentage would not go unnoticed if it is abnormally high. It could potentially throw the system into a tailspin. Just watch how people come to this thread freaking out.

I am not with you.

heya Vel, here's my rebuttal to

DWalters, on our ongoing 'debate' as to why one should or should not vote for GJ.

for what it's worth, in case you're trying to 'convert' others to GJ, a few things to consider as to why many within the R3VOL may not:

"Let it not be said that no one cared, that no one objected once it's realized that our liberties and wealth are in jeopardy." - Dr. Ronald Ernest Paul

Gary is a bit of war hawk for a libertarian don't you think

Not enough will vote Libertarian . I am speaking as a registered Libertarian , None of the above is a statement most slack jawed open mouth breathing americans can understand .

No, I don't think he's a hawk.

But that may be because I actually met him face to face. He's a completely normal person.

I've never met with Barack or Ron in person, but I'm sure they're humans also... Less sure of Mitt.

I do wonder if the error the Founders made in creating our system of government was in creating the office of president. Perhaps it should've been an office based on the pirates code, where the "ruled" could immediately vote out the captain as soon as he started making bad decisions. Why wait four years?

Consider This

I humbly ask you all to consider this as a viable option.

"I guess it comes down to a simple choice. Get busy living or get busy dying." - Andy Dufresne, 'Shawshank Redemption"

Dr. Ron Paul for 2012! Restore America Now. Not 2016.

So be it.

There is enough disenfranchised to make it count

We have all tried to teach those who can't understand . Rebellion starts simple none of the above nearly all can agree on and drops the false divide . Huge swells of unexpected voters would surprise and shock election coverage and results . Sometimes the best answer is the simplest . We are only limited by our perspectives .

in my state

In my state, write ins aren't counted, except as under votes. They're counted the same as not voting at all. If Ron Paul doesn't get the nomination, then I will either be voting for a candidate from a 3rd party, or if none of them got the required number of petition signatures to be on the ballot, I'll either vote obama or not at all (undecided, but leaning towards voting obama because 4 yrs of him is better than 8 yrs of obama-light).

There is no law requiring you to vote!

If my choices are only Obama and Romney, I'll skip the president section completely!
Lucky for you however, you should have a third party choice.
That is if you're from OK.

I don't like it.

If you MUST write in something, Ron Paul will do.

I am not a fan of write-ins to begin with.
They are never accurately counted in this day of electronic voting machines.
If the write in column doesn't total high enough, they aren't even looked at.

I wrote him in last time

We need something most can get behind , write ins are usually miniscule so yes they are not counted . Think of the number of those who would actually get behind this. What ever happened to the American elect thing never heard of who they chose.
