Mexican Official: CIA 'Manages' Drug Trade

[Al Jazeera] - Juarez, Mexico - The US Central Intelligence Agency and other international security forces "don't fight drug traffickers", a spokesman for the Chihuahua state government in northern Mexico has told Al Jazeera, instead "they try to manage the drug trade".

Allegations about official complicity in the drug business are nothing new when they come from activists, professors, campaigners or even former officials. However, an official spokesman for the authorities in one of Mexico's most violent states - one which directly borders Texas - going on the record with such accusations is unique.

"It's like pest control companies, they only control," Guillermo Terrazas Villanueva, the Chihuahua spokesman, told Al Jazeera last month at his office in Juarez. "If you finish off the pests, you are out of a job. If they finish the drug business, they finish their jobs."

A spokesman for the CIA in Washington wouldn't comment on the accusations directly, instead he referred Al Jazeera to an official website.

Everybody knows...

that humans always have, and always will, seek to alter their consciousness. If they did not, alcohol /illicit drug consumption wouldn't be a multi-billion dollar business. the feds (in cooperation with the CIA and global intelligence) all know that a black market will exist no matter what they try to do. that means there will be an organized, well-funded group of subversives that inherntly threaten their supposed "monopoly on the use of force." therefore, they coopt that market to benefit their own pockets and their own lust for power. it's so incredibly simple. and such a perfect example of Machiavell-ism in the modern world.

This enables an institutionally protected group of criminals to do the dirty work of the "powers-that-be". It provides a source of untold millions of dollars for payoffs and black ops. And most digustingly, the same government that arrests its citizens for possession of their drugs profits off it as well.

They created this black market

I agree strongly with you, but not on the point of the Feds knowing a black market will exist no matter what. In the context of the prohibition of drugs, that is fallacious to say, when it was by their choice that such laws were created that caused the drug trade to shift into the black market.

They created the black market intentionally to shield insider industries that hemp cultivation threatened, to create a source of off-the-books funding for government agencies, to fund militarization of local police, to create a war mentality in voters, to give reason to target and destroy the communities of certain racial groups, and everything else you mention. I bet they come up with new uses yearly. But those controlling government did not just happen across this situation. Such luck does not make itself, nor can we face a problem without looking toward the root and not merely the branches or by-products. Why did it become illegal in the first place?

Of course.

The Sasoons and the Rothschild's control the drug trade.

and now you know who the CIA works for....

look at the familial relationships and the nepotism within the CIA. look at how/where they recruit. Why would trust-fund kids would choose to put their lives at risk in a "law-enforcement" role?

At their inceptions, the #Liberty, #OccupyWallStreet and #TeaParty movements all had the same basic goal... What happened?
