Jesse Ventura: “If They Allow Johnson To Debate, You Could See Him Win”

Former Independent Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura was interviewed on Coast to Coast AM by host George Noory for two hours this past Wednesday.

In comments transcribed below, Governor Ventura repeated his endorsement of Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson. He also discussed the ballot access and presidential debate challenges faced by Third Party candidates generally, his offer to run with Ron Paul should Dr. Paul drop out of the Republican Primaries, and the possibility of his own run for President in 2016.

And Ron Paul will win if he

And Ron Paul will win if he wins the GOP nomination so maybe we should focus on that for now :)

Two fronts my friend

We need to support two fronts the good fight against the establishment on two fronts:

Two fronts after the

Two fronts after the convention. right now all it does is make US fight on two fronts, not them. AFTER the convention we can turn our heads to other goals.

There is only ONE front to fight after the convention...

regardless of the results.

If Ron Paul wins, all the support goes behind him.

If Ron doesn't pull it off in Tampa, the only viable choice is Johnson - not to detract from the people that wish to write-in.

So either way, there is only one plan after Tampa - which one is yet to be seen, but I don't see the conflict between spreading the word about Gary in the meantime.

The whole purpose of spreading the word is to get him ranking in the national polls high enough to qualify for the debates, and Ron Paul IS NOT being polled in ANY national poll against Romney or Obama now.

So, how is telling a pollster on the phone your planning to vote for GJ against Ron when RP is not even included in the poll?

Besides that spreading the word about Johnson won't hurt Ron's chances in the event of a Tampa win anyway. I bet Johnson would drop out if Ron Paul won.

Two separate things, IMO.

I would vote for

Ventura in a heartbeat in 2016. Could you imagine if Ventura ran and got into the debates...Ventura is a 911 Truther and would not back down if attacked on the issue.

Do you think the media or opponents would bring it up?

hmmmmmm....

which is why they wont

nader proved this marvelously 12 years ago. quit beating a dead horse.

Nader isn't

Ventura and it ain't twelve years ago.

Nader is much smarter than Ventura

Nader has sued the government more than any man alive.

His campaigns were for ballot access for Indy's and debates. I worked with Nader on three campaigns. We got 22 law suits in 17 states and everything is rigged against the Indy.

Nader has never belonged to a political party. It took 7 third party nominations to get Nader on the ballot in 49 states, OK won't allow for an Indy.

I was a Libertarian until Nader talked me into going Indy, so Nader had a coalation of Greens (Green party split over Nader by the way and there are two Green parties in the USA) Socialists, Libertarians, Peace and Freedom, Reform Party (defunct) were where the majority had come from to come together for Nader.

In my county, Democrats have oer 10K active voters, 4K Republican voters, and 1K all third parties combined (indys included in the mix). There's the odds.

Tmes have changed

Ross Perot in 1992 was close.
He did not have the internet youtube twitter etc...
this time around an outsider CAN win this thing.

Times have changed.

Greece...debt the economy is at the edge of the cliff.

The evil machine will try to prevent GJ from being in the debates -- but thousands of activists will put such pressure on the media (some journalists are already in our camp) the whole game (presidential elections) that was always rigged will be exposed for all to see.
