you grew up in thinking you were free.

How many other children have undergone the same treatment as this young child? It was a very courageous thing what this mother has done.

I just only hope that these type of acts become commonplace rather than a heartwarming exception to reality.

And while you said that it was nothing, it did make headlines, and it is preserving FREEDOM for people to make their own choices and not become criminals becasue someone said, "You're nuts".

Risperdal

Is one of the drugs that nearly cost me my life. This, along with Elavil and Congentin, caused me to completely lose it and take a month's worth of pills at once. It's a miracle I'm alive. Instead of my doc suggesting therapy, I was prescribed all this crap because I was upset over a breakup. These meds are no joke. They change your personality and you have no control over youself. My brain function hasn't returned to normal and it's been almost 6 years. I applaud this woman for standing up for her child. She probably saved her life. And I hope this story causes other parents to reconsider giving these meds to their children too.

I know a person who was treated with Risperdal

That stuff is bad enough for an adult. I cannot imagine giving it to a child under any circumstances. I hope all goes well for you in the future.
