On July 23 New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, one of the most implacably totalitarian figures in American political history, suggested that police nationwide should go on strike until the law-abiding public disarms itself.
“I don’t understand why the police officers in this country don’t stand up collectively and say, `we’re going to go on strike,” Bloomberg blurted in an interview with CNN’s Piers Morgan. “We’re not going to protect you unless you — the public — through your legislature do what’s required to keep us safe. After all, police officers want to go home to their families.”
Bloomberg sheepishly revised his comments a few days later — but not before an unidentified cop in Portland, Oregon acted on his suggestion, thereby offering a splendid illustration of the fact that given our choice, we should keep our guns and abolish the police.
My take? DITTO!
In a truly, supposed, free society (which we obviously are not, but most of the sheeple pretend it still is), it should be an appalling idea to any sentient being to have a group of armed employees who delude they can lord over us, patrol over us, and dictate the behaviors of their own supposed employers! Worse, they use our own STOLEN wealth to fund our own oppression, 'for our own good.'
Our future progeny will look back on this epoch in human history as the most astonishingly befuddling, unfathomable, strange, and abominable, that we'd ALLOW such insanity to persist, so willfully.
IF they had to have a legitimate role, it should ONLY be to report and write down an incident. I'm from a generation that still remembers that a cop actually had to have a complainant make a charge, before the cop's role could be activated: a completely foreign concept to the sheeple in the post-9/11 policestate.
Even in the utterly fraudulent 'judicial' paradigm that persists today, legally speaking, their roles are still only technically activated only AFTER a crime has occurred visibly in front of their immediate vicinity, or has been reported by a citizen.
Their technical roles are nothing more than a post-crime report/recording agency, so the citizenry can have an impartial third party be a referee and a witness, at least in theory.
But that has NEVER been the case: their sole role has always only been to keep the peons inline, on behalf of their commissar bosses, ie. PURELY a political police, nothing more, nothing less.
Besides, even as is, the SCOTUS has ruled time and time again that cops are "NOT REQUIRED to protect" the citizenry. So just WTF do we 'need' them for, anyway?
Now the tail is wagging the dog, itself. In this current era of asking what the fundamental role of govt is, if it even has one, it's high time everyone asks whether they're the purveyors of peace, or purveyors and institutionalization of evil.
Think it's becoming more and more ubiquitously clear to even the most misinformed statist braindead zombie, that the latter is the reality, as more and more daily, what seems like a national pandemic of copthuggery becomes the norm.
If what seems like 100+ Rodney King videos per day, uploaded onto YouTube don't wake up the TV-nation zombies, don't know what will.
