Doubt they'll be interested.

While it'd be quite hilarious to see them rain on Romney's parade, I doubt they'll be interested. You've got to look first at Ron Paul's stance on Wikileaks, Bradley Manning, Occupy, CISPA et. al. I've no idea what his stance is on those and I'm not trying to imply anything there - but he'd have to align pretty closely to their goals for them to provide a PAR.

If they do go searching for lulz, you're more likely to see Romney's campaign website plastered with My Little Pony and Nyan Cat.

he is definitely hiding

he is definitely hiding something

I'd rather "they"...

hack into the IRS system and DELETES ALL OF THEIR DATABASES.

Are you serious?

What are you, five?

First of all, no.

Secondly, the Romney tax returns are irrelevant. Who cares what his tax returns say?! If he dodged taxes, wouldn't we as liberty lovers be rather proud of that fact?

Thirdly, if there's one thing I can't stand on this forum it's technological ignorance. You don't just "hack the IRS and steal tax returns" - it doesn't work like that, at all.

Stop watching movies and go be active.

Uh no. Not if Romney does NOT

Uh no.

He Supports the fed, tarp, stimulus and the income tax.

Therefore he should pay it or he's a hypocrite that needs to be exposed.

I understand what you're saying, but I would only support people who don't SUPPORT THE INCOME TAX AND THEN DON'T PAY IT.

Not someone who wants to continue to force others to pay it while they don't.

Like Geithner.

This is very true. People are

This is very true.

People are calling for Romney to withdraw due to his tax returns. Would you all be calling for Ron Paul to withdraw if he refused to show his tax returns?

Plan for eliminating the national debt in 10-20 years:

Overview: http://rolexian.wordpress.com/2010/09/12/my-plan-for-reducin...

Specific cuts; defense spending: http://rolexian.wordpress.com/2011/01/03/more-detailed-look-a

By the way...

I tend to disagree with escaping taxes. That's what pays half of K St - finding loopholes.

If we must be taxed, no person or entity should receive special privilege. To do otherwise promotes collectivism.

If taxes weren't so avoidable by people with special privilege, the tax system would be just as offensive to them as it was to everyone else and reform or abolition would come much sooner.

I posted this thread...

because there was a false report of the event already happening. The quickest way to squelch the rumor was to make a competing post. It worked.

I seriously doubt this will truly be given any real consideration by hackers.

SWIM said this is a great

SWIM said this is a great idea

Helllllll Yeahhhhhhh!!!!!!!

Here you go...

A closer look reveals in fact this is satire...at least its good for a "what if" moment".

I'm not familiar with this site, or its credibility, but seems others are thinking similarly:

I wonder which site published them, and if this is true, their must be copies floating around out there.

Then again "toupees and spray-on tanning" make think this could easily be a work of fiction.

Ron Paul - Honorary Founding Father

I PM'd you

To hell with that.

Hack the Fed.

Anything to destroy him

would be nice.

Unless you approve of throat slitting or beheading in pursuit of political aims you might consider more carefully choosing your words.

BTW, even though I have a very low opinion of his veracity and his principles (what principles?) I respect Mitt Romney's right to privacy and stand opposed to Wiki or anyone else accessing this data and disseminating it.

New Hampshire and Ecuador.

What!? He's a criminal in my

What!? He's a criminal in my opinion. How can you not see that? look at his record as governor! or the flip flops! he was antigun, pro-choice, pro gay marriage( I am 2, but he isnt anymore), and pro obama/romney care lol. violating the consititution in this way is treason, dont you agree? ummm?

juan maldonado

Damned near anyone

who's ever served in an executive or judicial branch of government or in a legislative body has violated the US Constitution repeatedly. Do you advocate Anonymous stealing and publishing their tax documents as well?

New Hampshire and Ecuador.

Oh and Yeah

I have a few adjustments for some old returns I'd like made...mine, and my ex-wife's, if you know what I mean.

i would cite the

i would cite the non-aggression principle as the counter to this post's incitement to invade/steal from the IRS; however, the non-aggression principle is predicated on legitimate property rights...

... and since The State's property claims are- like The State itself- entirely illegitimate prima facie (b/c anything the state 'owns' it only 'owns' as a result of forceful extraction from individuals)...

... and since the IRS servers, computers, and tax return forms- which were 'voluntarily' given to the IRS by Mitt- are now the 'property' of the government- which we all know has no legitimate claim to anything-...

... it seems to me that i can safely "+1" this post!

Why would the government hack

Why would the government hack itself?

Anyone else unable to downvote this?

anonymous = the guvment?

I can't say I'd support the idea,

"Because that may be illegal" (In off key Mike Myers voice)

But it would be damn funny :D

Be careful.

Be very careful.

Carry on.

I'll share this with some online acquaintances

no promises... I'm about as well-liked in that community as in this one... but maybe they'll play along purely for ideological reasons.

At their inceptions, the #Liberty, #OccupyWallStreet and #TeaParty movements all had the same basic goal... What happened?

We love ya, @pop!

We are just a bit too straightforward at times.

lulz. there are limits to

there are limits to what one can find on the internet... it has to exist out there somewhere in cyberspace in order to be d0xed.
