Panetta's advice for Syria’s President Assad "you'd better get the hell out now.”

Panetta is the Sec of DEFENSE. Now, if Syrian troops were on US Soil the statement Panetta made would make perfect sense...but Panetta is telling the President of a Soverign nation to "get the hell out" of his own country? Panetta is CLEARLY the Sec of OFFENSE...not Defense!

US Defense Sec. Leon Panetta has advice for Syria’s President Assad: “If you want to be able to protect yourself and your family, you’d better get the hell out now.” Panetta also warned that the US would not repeat the mistakes it made in Iraq.

“The United States and the international community has made very clear that this is intolerable, and have brought their diplomatic and economic pressure on Syria to stop this kind of violence, to have Assad step down and to transition to a democratic form of government,” he said in an interview with CNN during a visit to Tunisia.

The international community has yet to reach consensus on the ongoing strife in Syria. Russia and China oppose removing Assad, saying his government is supported by a majority of Syrians.

Syria’s government forces should remain intact after embattled President Assad is ousted, said Panetta. Though the Obama administration is resolved against military intervention in the country, Panetta nevertheless drew a comparison with the occupation of Iraq following the 2003 US-led invasion.

My God This is Rediculous

How can they continue to masquerade the misuse of our military to invade and conquer as somehow justified? Or that these invasions are somehow part of our defense? It is unbelievable how they are able to manipulate a public so deep. Oh the power of their media networks!

It's even more rediculous that they talk of a "democratic" form of government, when our elections here are completely controlled; including blatant vote fraud. Not to mention the collective media used to blind and distract the public.

I think ths is a test..

to see how China and Russia may react. Both have said thay would risk WWIII to defend "their interest" and that includes preventing the U.S. and it's allies to attack or occupy Iran. We want to find out if China and Russia are bluffing or if they are serious.

Scary either way

If it is not a bluff, and someone attepts to teach us a lesson, WWIII. If it is a bluff, we will continue aggressive actions until someone does stand up.

This has

Been planned by the US government for a long time. Even prior to the Iraq War Episode 2: The US Empire Strikes Back... at imaginary threats, there was plotting to topple all the governments of Islamic Countries from Morooco to Iran.
