Laugh or Groan at this Latest Conspiracy Theory

"A Secret Plot to Replace Romney? Let's Hope So" This is the lastet blog from Paul Mulshine of the NJ Star Ledger. I haven't decided whether to laugh or groan, so I did both. What do you think? Laugh or groan or just maybe someone else, like...

Chris Christie Can't Replace Romney

Legally, only 1 person is allowed to run for the office of president. Chris Christie is about 3 1/2 people.

Ad hominem, I know. I just couldn't resist. :)

I believe its a plot to get this Democrat to step aside.....

...So he secretly only gets 6 months behind bars instead of a full year, for backing some of the most insane fascists in the biz.

I guarantee Rand Paul has been pulling some strings behind the scene and there is something hatched to toss Romney overboard. (Like Justin Amash did to those democrat infiltrators who attempted to move the GOP back into communism!)

Thanks for the White Hat Report update

Wow. I forgot about all that. Clearly, the issue warrants an investigation to determine the extent to which the various parties were knowingly involved in criminal activity, if at all - George Bush, Sr., Barbara Bush, Mitt Romney, the Clintons, Joe Biden, the president, and others. But supposedly this will be coming to a head this summer? Given the individuals named, I don't think so. Those whose responsibility it would be to do the investigation WORK FOR those they'd be investigating - as would continue to be the case if either Obama or Romney were president. And obviously Congress doesn't want to get involved. (With information having been delivered to multiple gov't agencies, surely it's come to their attention.) I don't think this case will ever be investigated. And if it were true that John McCain nixed Romney as his choice for V.P. because of Romney's possible connection to this mega-scam, the fact that Romney is now running for president would seem to mean either Romney feels protected or he knew (if not McCain) he wasn't guilty of wrongdoing.

Democrat?

Do you mean Willard? It's so hard to know these days. Obama is so similar to Bush and Willard is so similar to Obama that one can easily confuse a Dem for a Repub. Or is there even a difference? Hmmm...

It would be wonderful if Willard does get tossed. But to replace him with Christie wouldn't be much better.

Yes, they all are....

Romney, Bush, Obama, FDR....They're all communist democrats and most Americans know that by now.

Ron Paul isn't, and is more than prepared to overthrow Christie.

Didn't it ever occur to you that Romney's history in the Democratic party since Reagan, is now widely available on the internet? He switched over early on, once he got his career going at Bain.
Ahhh yet again...

as a theory it makes more

as a theory it makes more sense than some others posted here. But I still have to ask why? If they'd want Christie and the people, presumably want him, why not put him out there from the start? What do you gain by this?

There is no political difference between them.

Christie said he didn't want to run for the presidency and wanted to finish the job as governor in NJ. Frankly, I don't see the point of replacing Willard with the NJ in the first place. A difference that makes no difference is no difference.

He may be a better candidate, but the end result would be the same. We'd gain nothing by this move.

I wish people would stop

I wish people would stop using that phrase "conspiracy theory." It is always an attempt to marginalize those of us with legitimate doubts about official claims. Often, no theories are involved at all, unless it is to doubt the official conspiracy theory.

I, too have very legitimate doubts about things

that are given the label you don't like. In this particular instance, it wasn't my phrase. It was the columnist's.
