Why I will be voting for Gary Johnson for President

It takes little imagination for anyone more than twenty years of age to recognize that today’s America is in accelerating decline with a $16 trillion dollar national debt, Congress operating from one debt ceiling increase to another, and an ongoing, liberty-stripping, decade long global war on terrorism with no clearly defined conditions for victory.
While many argue that the problems of our time are an electoral question of left or right, it is really a matter of up or down: up to personal choice, private ownership and protection of individual liberties, or down to government control of all things political, monetary, intellectual and ecclesiastical. Today’s America of security checkpoints, individual mandates, and myriad taxes and fees is a place unrecognizable from her humble beginnings.

I visited my neighbors today.
They were supporting Ron Paul and thought he had dropped out. So we talked about him still being in the race, then talked about Paul Ryan. They had started thinking they would vote for Romney because of Ryan.
I gave them info and links on both Ryan and on Gary Johnson. They still want to vote for Ron if he is the nominee, but were pretty impressed with Johnson. So maybe they will be 2 more votes for Johnson in November if Ron is not nominated.

Johnson isn't worth my vote, neither is the joke running on the constitution party ticket. So far it's looking like my general election vote will be pres - blank, Senate - Ted Cruz, Congress - blank.

Legalize are NOT a citizen of this country and you Legalize(TOM) have NO FREAKING RIGHT to promote Gary Johnson on the DP or subject your self in to this fight. Gary Johnson is NO DIFFERENT than anyone else running other than Ron Paul. They are ALL bought and PAID for. Johnson is a KOCH PAWN! He will suck a big one for the Republican establishment. He would suck one for the Democrats. No different than Romney and Obama!

Or maybe you are referring to the part where they basically say everyone in the Tea Party, Libertarian Party, and several other organizations are all controlled by Koch....which is bull of course because it just groups them all together like all the individuals in them act in unison or something.

To be honest, there are things I like about Koch, and if there is any corporation that would swing to hemp production it will most likely be them, but they are the FORCE behind the LP. I was a Libertarian for 16 years, and it was not Koch that put me off, it was constantly losing. I think the Koch's personal wiki page also lists them as LP... David Koch, BTW is maried to W Bush's little sister, Debbie.

Of course not.
I am not arrogant enough to think my vote makes a difference at all in a presidential election. However, it does mean something to me personally, and I take that seriously. However, as someone who won an election (of more than 25,000 votes cast countywide) by a mere 3 votes, I also know that every vote does have the potential to make a difference.
Also, I am lucky enough to live in a state where even every write-in vote is counted and recorded. I know this because because I have seen my lone wrote-in vote show up in the official tally.

If you ever thought that Ron Paul supporters wanted to vote for GJ with the idea that we could put him over the top so much that he could beat out Mitt and Obama, you are foolish! He is a protest vote, he is not going to win, so his positions, intelligence, whatever, does not matter one iota! Some want to vote GJ just so that the Libertarian party could get in the debates, that would NOT be a bad thing! Some wanted to vote GJ just so we could see our strength in his election night totals, this is also NOT a bad thing. Some want to vote GJ just to get Libertarian ideas out to the public, this is also NOT a bad thing! There are many reasons to vote for GJ, none of them have to do with his positions or what he'd do as president! No one is making the case for him to be president! He is a protest vote, and the way we've been treated, we have plenty to protest!

Has the FEC report for his May, June, and July, Libertarian campaign been published yet?
Last time I checked the FEC site(about a week ago) the first month of his Libertarian candidacy, May, as well as June and July hadn't been published yet. The FEC has him listed with a (L) next to his name, but the total listed doesn't reflect the reporting period of his General Election campaign, only his Primary Election campaign reports. (Seriously before you downvote my comment check it out for yourself.)
And don't forget the liberty movement also has PACs and SuperPACs.
