Kurt Bills' campaign is nearly out of cash.

WASHINGTON - The Kurt Bills U.S. Senate campaign has been making busy lately playing up comparisons with the late Paul Wellstone's shoestring 1990 U.S. Senate campaign. Like Wellstone, one of Bills' campaign props has been a retired school bus he's taking across the state.

But according to the latest pre-primary filings the Bills campaign has made with the Federal Election Commission, that school bus, along with thousands spent on polling and consultants, has nearly emptied the campaign's already-threadbare coffers.

As of July 25, Bills, a Republican, reported having just $5,841 in the bank. His opponent, DFL U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar, has more than 900 times as much cash for her campaign -- nearly $5.4 million.

Bills actually didn't have a terrible 25 days of fundraising in July. His haul was $105,113 compared to Klobuchar's $131,996. But the Bills campaign began July with just $64,681 in the bank and then spent more than $160,000.

We CANNOT afford to let Kurt Bills lose the Republican primary on August 14. If Bills loses to the Ron Paul-hating Neocon running against him, it will set the Ron Paul Revolution back tremendously. It cannot be stressed how important it is that Kurt Bills confidently and clearly emerge the Republican nominee for Senate on the 14th of August. As many of you have seen, Bill's Neocon opponent is smearing Bills for his association with Ron Paul. It is vitally important that we do everything we can to ensure Bill is the Republican nominee.

Good luck Kurt Bills!

The amount of money that is

The amount of money that is spent for a campaign for office is ridiculous. There should be an alternate way to achieve similar results , such as volunteers. Makes me think, if all the workers for the Paul campaign really wanted Paul for president, theyd be working for pro bono. But since this is not the case, it just seems like everybody is just trying to capitalize on the wave. My sentiment includes all those Paul related merchandise as well. To me its more pwerful to have grassroots putting up homemade billboard signs and paying for big blimps out of their own pockets.

End of rant.

Good Morning Bump....

....

Good night bump

.

This is a heckuva lot more urgent than

arguing over Gary Johnson. Gary Johnson can't win, Kurt Bill can - IF and only IF we help him.

It would be great if the Daily Paul Mods could put

up a Money Bomb ticker for Kurt... He's a person that we need to get into the Senate.

They won't even put one up

They won't even put one up for Dr. Paul who asked for money to fight the lawsuits for disenfranchised delegates and for money to get them to Tampa. Instead, they front page Gary Johnson BS.

Blessings )o(

I donated yesterday

Somebody set up a money bomb in 2 weeks!

The Senate is the most important part

The Senate has been - by far - the biggest barrier to the movement, and we need to stay on this.

i donated $25 yesterday. cmon

Bills is a great Liberty candidate. Saw him speak when Ron Paul came to MN Convention Center.

Would be great to get a Moneybomb going for him.
