Some Advice for Our Young Friends in Ron Paul and Liberty

Hello young person,

If you are experiencing a feeling like one of those dreams where you are falling backwards it is because you have stumbled into a rabbit hole that goes to China and back by way of Boise. You see, earlier today a different you decided to pop the red pill and now this you gets to live with that decision. Your Pineal Gland is opening which is why people look at you like you have an eyeball in the middle of your forehead every time you talk.

In short, things will never be the same for you.

Money from thin air, government gun and drug running, privately owned "federal" reserves. Wanna know the best way to deal with all this mind-blowing stuff?

So would we.

Bookmark this post for the best advice from all the old-timers (and not-yet-middle-agers) on just how to cope with all this baloney spit and function to a reasonable extent in the 'real' world.

Tip #1: Forgive those around you who refuse to hear the truth.

They had their opportunity when they were younger and they chose the blue pill. As when any large decision is made, the ego gets heavily invested. You may notice your own ego fading as you learn about the greater world. The opposite applies for those with closed minds - their egos are reinforced with every denial of reality, and therefore any contrary view of the world is considered a direct attack on the ego, and simply cannot be tolerated. Forgive them for this and forgive yourself for the fact that you will never be able to get through to them so your efforts would be better invested elsewhere.

Tip #2: Forgive Those Who Know What They Do

Once we've forgiven those around us for being in their voluntary trances, we must forgive, or try to learn to forgive those who visit evils upon their fellow men with their various forms of tyranny.

For those who will not, can not forgive the globalists, the new world orderers, the illuminists, consider that the alternative, to hate them, does not hurt them. Hatred hurts only the hater giving the hated person a double victory. Don't give them the easy victory of your hatred.

Tip #3: Forgive us Our Infighting, as We Forgive Those Who Infight Amongst Us

The truth may be absolute but individual viewpoints are infinite. We will never agree on everything, we awake people, but we agree on the important things.

Tip #4: Be Thankful to Live in Interesting Times

Interplanetary exploration. Instantaneous global communication. Carbon nanotubes. Damn. If this stuff had been around in the '90s I might have paid more attention in school.

A tip of vital importance for young libertarians...

I found this when I followed a link and I guess it fits my outlook:

“If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace” Thomas Paine

Tip 1~ unless the term "younger" is meant in a relative sense I can't agree.. one chooses their pill at whatever age they are "offered" them.. at least I did ;)

Tip 4~ I'm not thankful to be living in these interesting times

Daughter of 1776 American Revolutionists

Such good advice, except...

I just can't bring myself to agree with Tip #4. My vision of the future is so bleak that it effects my disposition greatly. I feel like if I was around in the late 60s (or any other time for that matter) I would have met my full potential based solely upon a better vision of the future (even though it may have proven to be false). Learning about how the world really works and whats really going on sucks the optimism out of me. Thank goodness for humor and music. I appreciate this post.

The Pineal Gland is the love gland

It becomes calcified by the fluoridated public water suppy. But if you're awake and you love God and his creation and you don't participate in idiotic groupthink but instead use your instincts and your mind... That's progress. Thats being human. Hey, there's frequencies that tune it up - tube that.

Great post Chris. You really make some excellent points. I've have learned over the years that forgiveness is one of the most important things in life. That's probably because it's been so hard for me to learn!

As reedr3v said "That doesn't mean we cannot be angry. We have good reason to be." And that doesn't mean I have the whole "forgiveness thing" figured out and mastered. Far from it. But I have finally learned something that helps me a lot.

When there are people or situations that make me angry, frustrated, etc. I know it's hurting ME and not THEM. They don't care that they have ruined our country and destroyed our freedoms. My getting upset with them (which I do on a regular basis) doesn't affect them at all. THEY DON'T CARE.

I CANNOT forgive what our evil so-called "leaders" have done to our country. But I must remember what scripture tells us: to pray for our enemies, etc.

This is what I do:

I pray something like this: That they will be blessed with THE LAW OF THE HARVEST. That what they do will be returned unto them one hundred fold. (Call it Karma; as you sow, so shall you reap, etc.)

Then I can leave it in God's hands and not carry the burden of anger around with me, which will only make me miserable and eventually sick.

It may take some practice, but it's very effective. We still have to fight the good fight, but it's all about having an attitude rather like chopping weeds or killing snakes; it's nasty work and something that has to be done, but not with hatred in our hearts.

So all you young folks get out there and get them snakes!

Tip #? : When Someone Offers You Advice, Listen to It

NOTE: Don't necessarily follow the advice, but listen, actually listen to it - especially if it is bad advice or you expect it to be based on who is giving it. You can learn an awful lot about people from the bad advice they give.

Keep in mind that hearing is passive, LISTENING is active. Nod appreciatively. Mumble many 'uh-huh's. Thank them for sharing their viewpoint.

Then, go ahead and do what you were going to do anyway. When things go good, go back and thank the person again for their help.

When it doesn't work out, go back and tell the person you wish you'd done what they said (good or bad).

First and foremost is to avoid an argument. A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still. And it is especially bad form to attack this unsolicited type of advice since the person giving it is offering you a gift even though you may view it as an intrusion.

EXCEPTION! If their advice could cause harm then by all means differ. This tip isn't trying to condone wishy-washiness.

visualize your future. will

visualize your future.

will is a powerful tool.

(look at it as an atheist's version of prayer)

Understanding people....

helps you to deal with them.

Humans are animals, wired for survival. To increase our odds of survival, we join groups for protection.

Groups to which people cling include religion, political parties, sports teams, families, nations, etc. We chant USA during the Olympics.

If the group to which people belong is threatened, they get scared. That is the depth of most people's thinking. This is why discussions are often irrational. To most people, it doesn't matter if their group's beliefs make sense. They just need the group.

Which is why Santorum was a team player. It is all a contest between this group and that group. Principles are unnecessary.

I've been pondering lately how to weaken attachments to groups. I'm thinking if you create in them a greater fear than that of losing their group, you might get somewhere. For example, if an asteroid was heading toward us, suddenly our attachments to groups don't matter as much.

So rather than attacking Romney or Obama or the party, it might work better to promote the idea of a collapse coming our way. While everyone quibbles over Romney's tax returns, or Obama's birth certificates, there is an asteroid heading our way!

Politicians use fear tactics to gain support - Iran, people dying without gov't healthcare, etc. So we should do the same.

Some quotes......

Our government has kept us in a perpetual state of fear - kept us in a continuous stampede of patriotic fervor - with the cry of grave national emergency.
~General Douglas MacArthur

It is part of the general pattern of misguided policy that our country is now geared to an arms economy which was bred in an artificially induced psychosis of war hysteria and nurtured upon an incessant propaganda of fear.
~General Douglas MacArthur

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.
~H. L. Mencken

Of all the enemies to public liberty, war is perhaps the most to be dreaded because it compromises and develops the germ of every other.
It is a universal truth that the loss of liberty at home is to be charged to the provisions against danger, real or pretended, from abroad.
~James Madison

Power is usurped from the people, first by implementing fear, then it is maintained by slandering as 'unpatriotic' those who refuse submission.
~Ramman Kenoun

"Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."
--Goering at the Nuremberg Trials

H. L. Mencken:
The average man does not want to be free. He simply wants to be safe.

On Inforwars today - Alex Jones and Max Kaiser clip..

Alex says something like " We can argue about gay marriage later, but what we all need to agree on is on is the immediate occupation by foriegn banks". You all are onto something.

So the strategy......

Keep asking or telling your friend:

"So when do you think the collapse will hit?"

"How much hyperinflation do you think there will be from all the money printing?"

"After we go bankrupt, do you think China will invade us?"

"Are we going to be able to eat when the Fed keeps stealing our money?"

"We're going to need another job to keep up, as our money is taken from us."

"Looks like we're all going to the front lines. War with Iran will start WW3 and we'll all need to go"

"The government is going to need trillions more for the next war - they may have us send a check directly - about $1000 a month to cover expenses. Maybe rationing of food and fuel."

When we go

bankrupt, China will try to take out of our hide(take over our country as the have already started). Just remember, what has brought us to this quagmire was unconstitutional. I believe if we go bankrupt we owe them nothing, because they knew it.

RP would right the wrong and it would be painful for a year or so he said. I'm thinking the pain would last a "little" longer, but worth it to save our country from the despots, return it to Constitutional law, and pass it on to our heirs intact once again.

I believe we have 5 groups of voters:

1) those who survive on gov handouts(excepting SS and Medicare-systems we paid into)and who want to keep it that way, no matter that they are serfs,
2)same group, but don't know they are serfs(probably will never figure out otherwise because they don't research),
3) those who have not researched enough and think Obama and Romney, are telling the truth,
4)those who have researched enough, have discovered RP and are set to resurrect the USA and change the world.
5)many smart, successful people capable of great things who also have not researched but have gone about their luxurious lives and refuse to consider their live too will change negatively if they don't wake up.

Just my thoughts and yours may be different, but I know we all agree....It has to be Ron Paul in 2012, or we are in the "tank".

Some more.....

"Yes, we'll probably be driving convoy in Iran and getting our legs blown off and messed up mentally from the blast. Happening to lots of guys in Afghanistan and Iraq."

Find like minded people.

Find like minded people. Because you can feel like you arelosing the battle. Liberty people are uplifting in hard times.

Always take Morgan Freeman's advice. He was asked how to solve racisim. He said... stop talking about it. Remember that once you classify a group therein lies the hatred. We are the human race. All men created equal. Never stoop to classifying anybody

"when you label me, you negate me"

quote by

Tweeting occasionally as himself @cudnoski on the twitter.

I like your logic here...

I like your logic here... How do we eliminate "ideaologyism"? I'm so sick of the left blaming the right and the right blaming the left. Both sides are merely pawns and even among the Liberty-minded folks in this forum, there are still people who think their siblings on the left are somehow more responsible for the situation than those on the right... For a bunch of people who espouse "personal responsibility" some of you sure do try to put a lot of the blame on others.

Stop allowing THEM to divide US. It's not left vs right, it's serfs vs aristocracy... and the sooner you come to terms with that, the sooner we can affect real change and take back the power... but as long as you're still allowing the discussion to be about anything other than how do we take back the country from the banksters, corporations & corrupt politicians, you're letting THEM win.

At their inceptions, the #Liberty, #OccupyWallStreet and #TeaParty movements all had the same basic goal... What happened?

This was the greatest tool I applied to my own life as I was dealing with my world being turned upside-down after taking the proverbial "red pill" myself.

Sitting in silence, detached from the induced perpetual noise of modern society, will allow the natural momentum of clarity and inspiration to begin to flow to you and help you to act effectively and positively in any situation, facing any obstacle.

Meditation does not require you to do anything new. Rather, it requires you to simply STOP doing the things that we have ALL been so carefully conditioned to.

We as humans need to reconnect with our own Inner Being—our souls—our consciousness, because as many of us know, this is a Revolution of Consciousness.

With this practice, the above Tips will be a lot easier to apply to your life and daily experiences.

Much appreciation for this post, Chris.

Lover your enemies.

It only sounds crazy until you try it. I swear.

Proselytizing to the wrong crowd

By your way of thinking Stalin's victims should have forgiven him for what he did to them. Oops I forgot they couldn't forgive him, he killed them and they were dead. Funny, Hitler's victims were in the same state of forgiveness, they were dead too, as were Clinton and Reno's Branch Davidian victims at Waco. Your post seems to be more about religious proselytizing than reality.

I do not forgive those who trespass against me. I relegate the memory of those who transgress against me to its proper place in the hierarchy of things to do. It is relegated to the "get even level" or the level of "it isn't that important." If it isn't at the "get even level" then I keep the memory always as a reminder as to what level of tolerance and trust I place in that person, persons, or other entities, I never forgive. Doing so numbs a person's awareness, especially, if the one forgiven is willing to do you again.

The progressives have been screwing me and the country for over 100 years by destroying our currency, murdering our youth in unnecessary wars and unleashing the federal police state to incarcerate or kill our citizens when enforcing totalitarian, unconstitutional laws and you want us to forget about it. Justice here is turning the country around toward a constitutional republic. It will be a revenge of sorts by unforgiving people.

Forgiveness dulls the edge of the passion of purpose needed to get the job done in Tampa. Turning the other cheek doesn't get it when you're under assault. Go peddle it somewhere else and do your preaching in church.

It only takes one to KEEP AMERICANS FREE. Know your duties & rights as a juror. Stop the unconstitutional conviction of innocents in federal custody. The Fully Informed Jury CALL 1-800-TEL-JURY www.fija.org IMMEDIATELY if not sooner. It's that important.

An apology of sorts

I tried editing the above but took too long and the page defaulted to what I had originally wrote and doesn't allow editing. This is what I wanted posted:

Funny, Hitler's victims were in the same state of forgiveness, they were dead too, as were Bill Clinton and Janet Reno's Branch Davidian victims at Waco, Texas. Their leader, David Koresch, probably preached forgiveness right up until his last breath. This post seems to be more about religious proselytizing than realistic advice for young people.

You conflate Tip 2 with the other points.

The main thrust of the OP is to "forgive", that is understand the majority who are duped by the actual perpetrators. And that is not just "Progressives" but Conservatives and all of the general mainstream that is clueless and unaware or unthinking about their own complicity in keeping the evil people of the world in power.

"Forgiving" the actual perpetrators is the hardest step of all, and not all of us can see the wisdom of that strategy. I think it is more about keeping one's balance and mental health than about giving any concessions or not holding evil doers to full accountability.

Honoring and defending the victims is indeed a moral requirement IMO. How we most effectively do that is to keep the truth of their martyrdom, the invalidity of rationales for their victimization, an important legacy in our educational efforts to those who are blinded by popular media and censorship and bread and circuses.

you're not helping

The fact that you're focused on "progressives" rather than the masters proves you're part of the problem rather than the solution.

The progressives have been manipulated to believe it's the conservatives who have forced privatization and turned over power to the banksters and the privately-owned global government (UN, IMF, World Bank, etc.). They see YOU as the one who sold America out to private owners because you wanted to deregulate everything. If you can't see how they're manipulating both sides of the spectrum and forcing each side to push different pieces of their agenda, then you're a lost cause. Don't get distracted by the best intentions of people who have different ideologies. Focus on the people pushing the agendas and how they're using your views to further their goals that you only think are your goals.

You've been played by the puppeteers and now you're so focused on the partisan bs that you've already lost your part of the revolution.

At their inceptions, the #Liberty, #OccupyWallStreet and #TeaParty movements all had the same basic goal... What happened?

The biggest challenge this movement faces is ego

We all agree on so much. We all agree that the system, in its present state, must end. We ALL recognized this. We all see truths and many of those truths are common ground such as ending the Fed, the need for systemic reform and a more sound system of currency. To me, that's where our commonalities end and we all branch off in different directions from that point. Some are more concerned about individual rights, some are more concerned with enforcing justice on those who've created our modern system. Some want to focus on the government, some on the corporations, some on the international bankers... we all get wrapped up in allowing our personal views to divide us from our common goal. The globalists, nationalists, banksters and others prey on these differences and feed the flames.

It is my opinion that we need to stop focusing on what phase 2 is going to be and just finish phase 1. That phase is ending the current system. I say this because we're never going to get a consensus on phase 2 until phase 1 is complete. The ideological differences on phase two are simply too diverse to get everyone on the same page until we reach that point.

I know many of the more strategic members of this movement will insist that we must map out a whole big-picture plan in advance, but those of you who've really had to deal w/ next-level strategy know that once the first shot is fired, all the plans go out the window... A short story to illustrate my point here: I have an uncle who is a decorated US MARINE who has a whole lot of strategic experience on battle-fields, "policing" operations and survival. He and I very rarely see eye-to-eye, but both of us share the same overall goals. One nugget of wisdom he shared with me when I was a younger man, was about starting a family. I told him I had a plan to have XXdollars saved up, have a home in a good school district, have my car paid off, etc., before I wanted to have children. He told me that if I waited until I felt like I was "ready" that I'd never feel ready and that my wife and I wouldn't have children. A few years after that conversation, my wife and I (nowhere near "ready" in our eyes) were "surprised" by an unplanned pregnancy. This forced us to transition into parenthood and "family-mode" if you will. The priority-shift was actually pretty easy and only required slight modification to make things work. The social things every single person takes for granted had to be traded for the familial responsibilities every parent understands... That pregnancy was "the first shot" and all the planning we'd spent years on was out the window. We weren't even playing the game we had built our strategy around and the new game had a completely different set of rules. There was no possible way for us to "plan" for it until we were in it.

I believe that while this analogy may seem like a stretch to some of you, it is a perfect parallel to what this movement seeks to accomplish. We want to give birth to a new nation. (I know many of you see it as reclaiming our own nation, but because this involves changing virtually everything about the current system, to me it's a new "life"). We know what we want this "child of liberty" to grow up to be, but I'm sure all the parents out there can back me up in stating that while our parental guidance is important in shaping the kid, the kid will grow up on his/her own terms and there will be bumps in the road, wrong-turns and out-right detours while heading down the path.

None of can even guess what the best strategy will be for rebuilding America after the system collapses. We still don't know what the circumstances will be that will bring about this change. We don't know whether our new America will be male or female, artistic or athletic, analytical or emotional... maybe it will have "special needs". We know that we want what's best, but at this point all we can do is focus on bringing this "new life" into the world and then once it's here, then we can determine how to best go about helping it to grow and mature into something we can be proud of.

I'm excited about this opportunity to bring a new life into the world with you... but for now, let's not discuss how our "son" will grow up to be a starting linebacker for an NFL team, or how our "daughter" will be a ballerina w/ some world-renowned dance-troop. All that will come later.

Let's focus on the now.

At their inceptions, the #Liberty, #OccupyWallStreet and #TeaParty movements all had the same basic goal... What happened?

Great post; "rules of the game constantly change"

You mentioned "We weren't even playing the game we had built our strategy around and the new game had a completely different set of rules."

Years ago I worked with someone who had a sign up on their door, which I loved: "Life is the only game in which the goal is to learn the rules."

I love you. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you.

Thank You

I could write volumes trying to explain all the reasons you are absolutely right and how much I appreciate your post, but I'll just say "thank you" instead.

Keeping the LOVE in the R3VOLUTION...

...is what it's all about. Thank you so much for the post, Chris! As a 30-something who just woke up, my head is still spinning. I'm still trying to clear the cobwebs from the corners and take in my [real] surroundings, but I know that I will never go back to sleep again. There are moments when the truth is truly overwhelming, and the magnitude of the sheer numbers of slumbering people around me is staggering. It is posts like this one that keep me centered and focused. Thanks again!!!
