Ron Paul has his 5th State - Oregon

Ron Paul won 3 delegates plus 14 stealth delegates in Oregon.
Some reports say only 12 stealth.

It does not matter.
Ron Paul has the majority of Oregon's 28 delegates.
A vote for plurality is different to being bound for nomination.

Ron Paul's on the ballot.

Great news to hear!

Now we just need to get Paul at the RNC. Will he speak there or only the rally?

All in for the final push!

:)

Lord Acton, Lord Chief Justice of England, 1875 - "The issue which has swept down the centuries and which will have to be fought sooner or later is the People v. The Banks."

Still confusing.

The situation is still as confusing as a month ago, but the positive here seems to be more of "which 5 states do we have" instead of the "do we even have 5 states" worry that we were in a month back.

Seems like a given that Ron Paul is eligible for nomination now. Good job, delegates - every single one of you. :)

High 5, Oregon!

I knew they'd come through. I'll admit though when they didn't announce the results at their state convention, I had my doubts. It turns out Oregon IS a liberty friendly state after all.

From what I hear, Ron Paul is very-well liked in Eugene.

Definitely!

Ron Paul is given a lot of Love in Eugene.

his 12th state.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, I'm just well-informed

Bump!

Thank You,the media has this so screwed up and the American people need to start waking up!

It's not automatic

The point is not that he has 5 states. The point is that 5 states must put his name into nomination. Has Oregon put his name into nomination? If they have the delegates to do so, than they certainly can.
Recently I heard that Nevada had not yet done so as well. I would love to hear what states have done this.

Id like to see more solid

Id like to see more solid proof before celebrating.

Not The Delegates

Alley and the ORP appointed the alternates. The delegates were duly elected.

Eyewitness accounts of the State Convention

mostly on here, but some elsewhere.

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

again

Has Oregon put his name into nomination?
That would be awesome!!!

No State can put anyone's

No State can put anyone's name into nomination, until the actual convention itself.
