IDEAS: For CHEAP Billboards For President Paul In TampaSubmitted by -O.O- on Wed, 08/08/2012 - 18:25
Every hotel within 100 mile of Tampa is booked solid. Most of the wealthy republicans will NOT be staying in down-town Tampa, they will be staying at the Vinoy in DT St. Pete or the Don CeSar on St. Pete Beach or Innisbrook golf or Saddlebrook. There are miles & miles of highways connecting all.
Spray paint "President Ron Paul" on the grassy embankments of overpasses that cross over the interstates.(the mowers will cut them down within a week, so no permanent damage is done)
Spell out Ron Paul for President using plastic drinking cups stuffed into the chain-link fencing in the bike paths that cross over I-275 in Tampa and St. Petersburg.
Go to the beaches in front of the hotels and write President Paul in the sand where people walk along the beach or build a gigantic sand sculpture of block letter President Paul on the beach (in front of all the beach hotels in St. Pete & Clearwater and call all the press to come out and take pictures of it and do interviews.
Get a raft floatilla and join them together to spell out President Paul 2012 ! Anchor it in Tampa bay, moving it around every couple of days. Most of the aircraft landing in and near Tampa International airport steeply bank the planes across the bay when positioning for a landing, and passengers can't help but to look out the windows to enjoy the view of the water below. That would be a lot of exposure to arriving delegates and party goers. Illuminate the raft floatilla for arriving and departing night flights.
Of course decorated cars everywhere might attract press attention too.
Signs and activity near the local news stations like Fox 13 on Kennedy Blvd, Univision on Hillsborough ave, etc The radio stations near the Gandy bridge might catch the eye of news crew vans as they arrive & leave their stations for other assignments. This is not a complete list but I could find it if others can do the 'tagging'. Call the radio stations to be interviewed or participate in the discussions, 970 WFLA, 1340 AM, 820 AM
