and fellow Patriots...obviously.

The two already scheduled were not deemed enough so this is the 3rd one.

Very simple: 1. 150 million gunowners.
2.270 to 300 million privately owned firearms.
3.trillions of rounds of ammo
In other words they are afraid of us.

Some see things as they are and say why,but i dream things that never were and say why not. Robert F. Kennedy

The Grand Rapids Police used one of these here a couple weeks ago in response to a shooter holed up in a house, they just parked it in front of the residence it didn't serve a purpose unless they were going to drive through the living room window.

yup, my point exactly.

they have 3 trucks for all of LA.

that alone proves that they're nothing more than a show piece, not to mention a corporatist subsidy boondoggle via DoD/DHS grants.

it's nothing more than a Fear-PR tool, period.

like, if colors didn't matter, why don't cops wear pink or hot neon uniforms, or paint their cruisers or their SWAT trucks with the same?

it's all for intimidation factor, because they certainly don't wear black uniforms for their camouflage effect so they can 'blend' with the not-so-black-buildinged-city-environments to commit their illegal pre-crime daily patrols.

Col. Cooper called them govt "ninjas." Also, he never saw a reason why honest people needed to wear balaclava, which is what terrorists and bankrobbers have always traditionally worn, to do their deed:

What a Lenco Bearcat, the above vehicle, looks & drives like,

LAPD SWAT officer Mark Nee stops by the garage with the massive twin-turbo diesel, 6.7-liter armored Rescue 4. You'll go inside and out of the revolving turret, under the hood, and for a ride with Jay. And if see one in your neighborhood, well... run!

Jay Leno's Garage: Lenco BearCat

Do not be afraid, folks.

Tactically, these Lenco Bearcats are utterly useless, in 'urban' operations. Just think, LA, a city of about 2 million with 5~6million within its metro area, being 'protected' with just three.

If they were really, really, really 'necessary' you don't just have three. Nor would they cancel orders, under public pressure, if the 'officers' lives truly depended on them.'

All for Fear-PR, nothing more, nothing less.

They're nothing more than a corporatist boondagle designed to force municipalities to go on tacti-fool envy (would you believe LenCo's official YT page de-listed that Team America, F*ck Yeah! music video under public uproar over glorifying militarization of the local popo? lol!) so they can charge the citizenry $200~300,000 per vehicle, or make the case for more DoD/DHS grants (aka corporatist subsidization) into buying these behemoths that are nothing more than a Fear-PR tool, sold under the guise of "protecting you."

Didn't ya know? EVERYTHING govt does, is done to "protect you!"

BearCats, in reality, are just lightly 'up-armored' Brinks Trucks, with a turret (for fear factor: but by the time you see 'normal' police trucks mounted with M2 "Ma Deuce" .50BMG machineguns 'patrolling' the streets for pre-crimes, clearly SHTF and even the dumbest sheeple are gonna accept that by then, we're under martial law) and fancier blinking lights; they're just APC's (Armored Personnel Carriers) that are merely designed to look imposing.

Chances are its armor plating is AR500, the industry standard, also used as metal targets at the range. Depending on its thickness its protective capabilities vary, but for most SWAT trucks, they're probably spec-ed out at its nominally 'base' level: rated to withstand most .30 caliber rifle rounds, ie 7.62 NATO/.308 and AK rounds like 7.62x39mm/7.62x54R.

Thicker ones are impervious to .50BMG, but for armored vehicle use, they become un-maneuverable/overly heavy, and cost prohibitive; by then, may as well roll around in a real armored tank.

Only if the People knew just how absolutely useless these things are in real life, they'd be up in arms over the fact that they're nothing more than just another govt waste, at best. At its worst, a tool that's used, as seen many times in what's become more common in the trigger-happy/zero-recon world of eager SWAT teams: utterly ILLEGAL, erroneous-address-house-raids that usually result in murders committed by the raiding SWAT against (an) innocent American(s), or their favorite 4-legged canine companions, or both.

Then again, if the People 'knew better,' Dr. Paul would have been the POTUS in 1988, let alone in 2008.

Purely for reference, for more private armoring options, check out Ben Swann, in his earlier days in Texas, reporting on a local armored vehicle company, Texas Armoring Corporation:

"Sieg Heil" (plus a quick video tutorial by Hitler)

Shall we stop and do the salute as the truck goes by?

Maybe our fellow Americans in uniform, the clueless ones, will get a clue with the proper Third Reich salute!

After all, we did borrow their EXACT phrase, "Homeland Security".

Click HERE to see the proper salute, taught by Hitler himself. Wonder when this proper state worship will be taught in the public schools?!

Of course millions of Americans do the salute in their hearts by their support of the state with their votes and support of the DemoPubs. It's one huge worship-fest of the state! Babylon the Great!

My question is

And I've noticed this on the military uniforms. Why is the union (the blue part) of the flag, to the right? I thought that is wrong under US flag code.

EDIT:never mind, found the answer at the bottom here:

It is correct under the flag code

I went to your referenced site just to dig it up on the same source.

About 2/3rds the way down it explains this.

I also replied about 5 posts down explaining this on vehichles(which is also explained on the website).

I never went to this site before - it is really full of information for others on here that have questions on how to properly fly the flag. Really good source.

Backward flag for those who are interested

The full-color U.S. flag cloth replica is worn so that the star field faces forward, or to the flag’s own right. When worn in this manner, the flag is facing to the observer’s right, and gives the effect of the flag flying in the breeze as the wearer moves forward.

The rule dates back to the Army's early history, when both mounted cavalry and infantry units would designate a standard bearer, who carried the Colors into battle. As he charged, his forward momentum caused the flag to stream back. Since the Stars and Stripes are mounted with the canton closest to the pole, that section stayed to the right, while the stripes flew to the left.

Winning !!!

This is proof to me that we are WINNING! Governments should be afraid of their people, not people afraid of their governments. Unfortunately for the people at the top, the individuals who would most likely be driving that vehicle are the very ones who donate to Ron Paul time and time again over every other candidate. Rock on Patriots !! An idea whose time has come cannot be stopped by any DHS vehicle. WHoot!!

LOL - you all need to pay more attention

CT state police have had vehicles like this for years. I would bet every major swat team in the country has a hand full of them.

What concerns me more is the total lack of safety they display. Don't they know all four tires have to have equal tread wear. They are going to ruin the suspension and risk a serious accident if they put that extra set of tires on. If they are going to prepare to opress us, the least they can do it opress us in vehicles that meet DOT guidlines for safety.

For The Power of The Republic!

As soon as the kids are out of school

I am gone like the wind.

To me it's creepier that

To me it's creepier that Homeland Security is plastered right there on the truck.

I have been on the road a lot this last week.....

and have seen an enormous amount of military vehicles on the move. Saw a lot of them between Orlando and Tampa, Fl..... and in Georgia. Just some FYI.... I really don't know how much this happens on a normal basis, just thought I'd mention it.

"I don't know if the world is full of smart men bluffing
or imbeciles who mean it."

huge amount of military vehicles on the move

I drove northbound through Illinois (from St. Louis to Wisconsin) two weeks ago and saw a huge number of military vehicles that were heading southwest, towards St. Louis. Saw convoy after convoy, the entire trip. None of the vehicles had the sand colored camo paint job, so they weren't destined for the mid-east.

It's like those traveling billboards

More gov fear mongering for the simple people. Any patriots here afraid of a car? I didn't think so!

Any corrupt establishment puppets afraid of the awakening masses growing exponentially every day? WE KNOW SO!!!

Hey guys, check out this

Hey guys, check out this scary piece on camps being built in Georgia.

For those wanting to know where I found the picture

I got it from the link below. It mentions where the vehicles were spotted in Kentucky. I would have posted this last night but I fell asleep :)

Notice the Flag! Its flying backwards....

I talked to an Army officer one time and he said that represents when they are in a time of War! Otherwise the flag should be flying the regular way. Is the Home Land Security Dept at war with someone?

It is not backwards - it is proper for its position

It always "flies" in the wind - hence if the vehichle is moving forward - the flag would be blowing to the back of the vehicle.

The only way to do that is by poistioning the flag as it is on this side, while on the other side it would look proper.

starting to get the picture?

in times where we need savings they spend it on armored cars promoting lavish militarism.

and in times where we need the constitution, the state takes it from us.

Where in KY?

Where in Kentucky was this pic taken?!? I find it infuriating that this is happening in my beloved Bluegrass, but I fear a few too many of my fellow Kentuckians would support this and other police state actions all under the guise of "patriotism" and "the War on Terror". Sad really :(

I hope it's on it's way out of Kentucky.

BG, I have to agree with you about our fellow Kentuckians. Most of them are all for this stuff because they can't fathom the idea that it could one day be used against them. Living a few minutes from Ft Knox, I'm used to seeing military vehicles being transported right by my house. THIS particular vehicle though, is not military and it should be a wake-up call to everyone who sees it.
