What do you do if your local polling place gets Diebold machines?

We recently voted and were disappointed to find a row of Diebold machines. I mean, doesn't Diebold have any competition at least?

We let them know that we did not like them and they referred us to our local registrar's office I believe it was. There is a huge screen, and not so much as a curtain around the non existent "booth." What happened to the good, old fashioned privacy of a voting booth?

Has anyone here had success in getting paper ballots restored in your local precinct?

we have electronic voting

we have electronic voting machines too. my biggest concern is how will it be possible to write-in Dr Paul if he doesn't get the nomination? I called our state whatever office and they assured me there would be 'a way' to write-in candidates 'if they are qualified to be write-ins' ... no idea what this means...

If I'm not mistaken you can

If I'm not mistaken you can request a paper ballot. Not sure if this is in all states though.

I'll tell you what I think about these Diabloical machines

They are no worse than the gas chambers used to kill people!
They have one purpose, and one purpose only and that is to suffocate the voice of the people!
They are therefore the very tools to kill liberty, and surely they won't stop there!
When will the people stand up and say no more!
