Thoughts on how much Dr. Paul has raised.

I have read several guesses about how much Dr. Paul has raised.
Well here are my thoughts and I could be way off.

Each time I have donated the number in the confirmation T35779-92856328 has gone up. T35779 I believe represents amounts of donations. My last donation number before yesterday was T28098-91307042. Since my donation yesterday ($179k mark) over 258k has come in.

T35779 was my donation from yesterday, which by the way, maxed me out.

If the average donation over the course has been $20.00 then you could guess that as of yesterday he was over $7 million.

As we know here, for the $500,000 pledge, the average donation seems to be running at about $90 bucks per. The last counts I had was: count=4776&sum=437257.75. Count = donors, Sum = $ amount.

I believe Ron Paul is in the total donations area of 38,000 online and at $20.00 would be 7.6 million.

Now we know he spent about 600k the second quarter. That would bring him to 7 million. I believe he has spent a little more (radio ads and higher rent/traveling costs, so I will guess estimate $800k. That would leave him $6.2 million based on $20 per donations. Sounds reasonable right?

Well this might be, but then I stop to think. How about all the checks he has received at rallies and through the mail. We hear about the great online days, but who knows how much has been handed to him or mailed. Maybe the checks are included in the count and maybe not. And what about the last 4776 donations that produced at $90.00 a clip? What if this brings the average donation totals up to $30 per donation.

I think it is reasonable with another $500k that Ron Paul has 9 million or more. Maybe even 10 million or more.

One thing I do know for sure is that there has not been candidate ever before that would have me up doing this math. I believe in Ron Paul and I hope my guess is right.

38,000 * 20 is 760k, not 7,6M

so those predictions are not very accurate..

One more thing I will add

Mohandas Gandhi - "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win."

Ron Paul supporters be ready to rally, as with new attention, will come personal attacks of our candidate.

He has been ignored! He has been laughed at! Now comes the next part after his funding becomes a viable threat.

That Gandhi quote couldn't

That Gandhi quote couldn't be any more relevant to Dr. Paul's running. As stated, we're in the "fight" stage. Prepare for victory!

As for how much he has raised... I'd say 5-6 million is probably closer to what he'll have, but we'll see.

It has already started

Note the article about Rudy on the Ferry. note the refusal of the New York Republicans Club to include him. Note that more and more, now that the MSM has to acknowledge him, they add a snide comment like "And that Crazy Ron Paul and his nutty supporters finished third in the Michigan Straw Poll." Also note that his supporters are going to draw alot of the attention - never before in my memory has media tried to paint a candidates supporters in such a negative light - not even McGovern Supporters.

I'll will be pleasently suprised if he raises more than 5 M, though. It is always better to set your expectations low, and your goals high.
