John Wayne shares some wisdom
thanks, I needed to hear him talk like that....
My God! the missing link I have been looking for to bridge the gap of keynesianism to my parents and grandmother. Thanks DUKE!
"Chrissst.... What would there be in life, if you lose optimism???"
Dr. Ron Paul ALWAYS gave optimism... even when delivering bad news. I love him for that.
Want to see some good dialog on optimism?
Who is Doug Standhope? (buckle up :)
I stumbled upon this today on youtube, thought it deserved a bumpity bump.
thank you for sharing.
The speech he gives to the actress playing his daughter in the movie McLintock should be studied by anyone attempting to be President of the USA.
Thanks for posting this thread.
There's a jumble of stuff that comes up on YouTube when I searched those terms. Do you know if there's a direct link to the speech you are referring to?
I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war. Ps 120:7

I was a liberal.. Until Dr Paul taught me what a Conservative was. I never looked back.
'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul
The word "liberal" has been made a by-word by the media referring to people who are actually communists in many cases or collectivists or plain old evildoers.
I have wondered from time to time if Dr. Paul doesn't at least in some ways, exemplify the convictions of a "true" liberal.
To the OP, thanks for sharing John Wayne.
Telling it like it is.
