HQ Suggestion: Archive of Anti-Paul Media Bias
Does anyone know if there is an organized archive of media bias against Ron Paul? For example, FOX editing the latest debate before rebroadcasting it, to remove the part where Dr. Paul made the case for being the only true conservative in the race. Stuff like that.
If there isn't one already, we need one.
I bring this up because Professor Paul Levinson collects examples of media bias, and has publicly acknowledged the media's mistreatment of Ron Paul (see link for part-1 of his 5-part lecture on the subject). If we had such an archive, we could prepare a summary and present it to Prof. Levinson. I wouldn't be surprised if he put all this into a book one day. At the very least he might add our examples to his speeches and class materials, which would help shine light on these unfair practices, and we would have all that material handy for dissemination to anyone who is willing to listen (fair-minded media, etc.).
It's just an idea I had. I'd start this myself but I didn't jump on board the Ron Paul train until a few months ago; I wouldn't know where to begin the research. Ideally, the archive would start from the moment he announced his candidacy, and outline each and every example of media mistreatment since then. There must be a mountain of evidence by now; we can turn all that negative energy into something positive!

Looks like somebody is on it!

Maybe put this in front of your title so the campaign will see it. They do watch us, you know. It will also more easily separate us from the rest of the forums because this may become a long thread.
Now,..I think the biased media idea is great....and...
We need one for the Invisible Ron Paul ...showing how Ron is left out of polls, the Fox debate, stories like the recent Newsweek top fundraiser article...not even mentioning Ron Paul, who created campaign history with his numbers...but mentioning Huckabee??!!....etc.
Both of these ideas would be good to demonstrate our point to others when they ask, Who is Ron Paul and why don't I ever hear about him?
Done. I guess this
Done.
I guess this suggestion can be considered moved to Ron Paul Forums, since they have a sub-forum called "Bad Media Reporting on Ron Paul." Seems like the best place to foster the idea.

Good idea
One thing I don't think is up to chance as a result of this campaign, that it will be an object lesson in presidential politics that must be studied deeply by anyone interested in the field.
Anything, while it is a political issue, is under a sort of distortion, a fog of war perhaps. But as the battlefield cools I think the tactics and the truth will begin to emerge quite clearly. The fund-raising and internet grassroots efforts have already insured that people will pour over the details of this campaign to learn what they can take home to marketing and campaigning. We have made history.
When it comes to news I wonder if Vijay Boyapati is going to take serious lessons home from this and possibly apply them to his work. Vijay, of course, is the young man who quit his job at Google to organize operation Live Free or Die in NH. But what he did before he quit Google was write machine learning algorithms that powered Google News.
I expect he's learned a lot about the power of the media and their biases and I wonder if he's going to take that experience back to sorting and grading news on the internet at some point. The dedication and confidence in his convictions that he's shown are an indication to me that he is going to be a very influential person who can do a lot for the cause of liberty beyond Ron Paul's election.
It's a great idea!
It's a great idea!
Libertarians have never been all that organized...
But of all groups we need one MOST, as we've seen in this campaign & before.
Conservatives had Accuracy In Media and then got the Media Research Center. Lefties have Media Matters. Libertarians have 0. No organized anti-antilibertarian media bias cheerleading group. Libertarians like me bitch about media bias plenty, and always have, but we don't tend to archive media BS very well. Conservative & left-wing organized groups archive and file EVERYTHING, and it pays-off for them just as it could eventually pay for libertarians.
*Occasionally* one of the conservative groups will cover particularly-blatant instances of antilibertarian media bias, but it's always halfhearted at best because in the end they view libertarians as a threat. This makes bias against libertarians in the media a good thing for these groups. It's why a new (and permanent, the bias problem precedes this campaign...) media bias bitching group needs to be born. And it will, with me as Chairman & CEO, the day after I win a lottery. :)

There would be if..
There wasn't a writer's strike. Colbert and Stewart would be all over this. Too bad:(.
http://killfiat.blogspot.com/
They're back on!
And Stewart has already defended President Paul twice - even vigorously to a Rudy shill, who tried to hide the fact that he was a Rudy guy while promoting his "return to conservatism" book! Laughable! Colbert has mentioned him twice as well.(sarcastically negative - so it's really a positive)
I'm confident we will have our voice out there. It will only get louder, for President Paul's supporters are consistently growing!
We need to stop this people
I posted this last week and think someone with good Vid skills could put it together.
IMO we must figure away out to break their backs ASAP, we the people have the Man and the best platform period. They are stopping our message from getting out and still playing games and saying we cannot win, and at the same time laughing at all off us! Is their a way to put together a DVD-You Decide, that shows from day-one what our message is and what the media has done to all of us. In addition, show all of the other candidates' and their childish behaviors. We need to do something! Most of us have DVD-Burners and the cost would be very minimum to mass-produce. Also, add RP supporters’ opinions’ in theVid. IMO we need to turn this against them. Just an Idea!
P.S.
Rudy and the rest of the kids need to grow-up and listen and learn from a true statesman period. People are so brain dead it is a joke. Laughing when we are losing our brother & sisters where have the good people of American gone, and yes,
God Help Us.
