Another Flip Flop, that was fast! Romney Already Distancing Himself From Paul Ryan's Budget Plan.

Romney spokeswoman Sarah Pompei said Saturday that the candidate “applauds” Ryan’s ideas, but intends to issue his own blueprint for reshaping the federal budget. After Romney’s speech introducing Ryan, advisers said the former Massachusetts governor has no intention of being handcuffed to all the specifics of Ryan’s plans — though he has said in the past that he’d sign Ryan’s budget if passed by Congress.

Ryan is a bad pick for the general

If he had the nomination locked up he would have waited till the convention to announce his pick. Some have argued that he picked Ryan to attract disenfranchised conservatives in November..which could be true but it doesn't address the timing. Ryan was picked and announced to attract delegates back to camp Romney.

The Romney strategy has been to play the middle all along. This move hurts his general election strategy, so it isn't surprising to see him doing damage control. Romney didn't awaken a sleeping army of obama zombies for the lulz. In fact the move can completely alter his potential winning strategy of just being "anyone but Obama" into a much more pronounced role as a vilified oger.

Both ways

Talking out of both sides of his mouth is normal for Mitt. The reality is he wants all the spending to continue so he rejects Ryan's budget. But to get the conservatives votes he says he'll sign the Ryan budget if it passes (which it won't).

I'd put my money on Romney!

If the Olympics had a fence walking competition, I'd put my money on Romney! LOL

Regards to War

He's just talking B.S. when he says "he will sign the bill if passed by Congress". I wish Mittens would actually say something to that effects with regards to war...
I will not go to war unless it has been declared by the Congress, which is what all Presidents are suppose to abide by.
Just more B.S. Lies out of Romney's mouth.
It would take an Act of Congress to get Congress to balance a real budget.
