what would be the response of the MSM if Dr. Paul were to win the nomination?
Submitted by damdrod on Sun, 08/12/2012 - 21:09Let me start off by saying that I am still hoping for a miracle in Tampa, and believe we should continue to fight until the end. But as we know the deck was stacked --the establishment and GOP will do what ever is necessary to insure their plants come to fruition. The writing has been on the wall, and even Dr. Paul himself has admitted that he will only have three to four hundred delegates. I know this is not what we want to hear, but Dr. Paul doesn't play political games or have secret plans to steal the nomination(if someone could offer proof that says otherwise I would love to see it)...this is just not how he operates. He has stated on numerous occasions that it is up to us to carry the torch of liberty, and that is what he means. He has started a brushfire in the minds and hearts of the citizens. Every day more and more people are realizing that the system is gamed, and things are not right. Every day more are converting to the ideals of Liberty. When your neighbors, friends, and co-workers start demanding change from their politicians, and their government, then we will know that we have won. However we will probably not get to this point until things get really bad. Right now unfortuneatly we do not have the numbers, the majority of the public is still asleep.
One question I have for those that think RP has some secret plan in which he will unmask a thousand delegates and steal the nomination, is what would be the response of the MSM, the GOP, and our government if he were to win the nomination? He cannot win, the government and MSM would never come out and admit their corruption. The time we are living in will not allow it. It is much easier just to deny him from the RNC.
So though I believe we should fight tooth and nail until the end. I believe the real change is only going to come from us getting involved in our local governments, and continuing to spread Dr. Paul's message. We must ask ourselves what we plan to do after Tampa in the case he is not nominated.
Some of the MSM would be turning handsprings, believing that
it would guarantee re-election for Obama.
The rest would be extruding bricks from their hindquarters.
And they will make fun of him, call Republicans terrorists....
I guarantee that will happen but I don't care.
If Obama wants to make the Republicans the martyrs then he will have to try a lot harder with that joker grin of his, because the wake up call is about to knock him on his keyster!

gets the nom, there is no way obama can steal this. There is too much support even in blue states for Ron Paul. People are fed up.
Romney will hand this to obama. Watch and see. It's obvious.

To answer your question....
The media's response would be to make sure every last american knows very well that romney was a HORRIBLE MISTAKE and all of the GOP should have switched over to Paul sooner because clearly this Felonius Tax Cheat Romney is SO BAD that he could lose to a nobody like Paul.
That way they can emphasize over and over how Obomba can easily wipe the floor with Paul, and why you'd be wasting your vote on Paul, because obomba is sure to beat Paul 5 to 1 in November.
Obomba would of course control the voting machines and even if Paul naturally won 3 to 1, the votes would be close to the opposite... So no amount of campaigning will help, it's all going to be rigged like another user below stated.
There is only one way to stop obomba from winning that election. We'd have to show the world press (not just our own stations) that our crowds of people gathered together are far larger than what Obomba is capable of getting together.
There would have to be a challenge and Paul would have to stop playing Mr. Nice Guy. He'd have to rally a larger crowd than at least the 70k people that showed up for Obomba's largest pre-election crowd, and then Obomba would have to fail to raise a larger crowd.
All on international network news somehow. That will show the world who is really supported here, and put some real pressure on the establishment.
Other than that, no, there's nothing we can do. And I don't think Dr. Paul is going to try to organize such a thing. There is pretty much zero chance of a win for team Liberty.

They would just harp on the "racist emails" and say how Dr. Paul hates Israel and is probably a closet Nazi sympathizer. They'd constantly say Ron Paul's foreign policy ideas would leave us open to terrorist attacks. They'd use fear tactics an repeat the meme that there's not enough gold in the world to go back to a gold standard. Pretty much everything Webster Tarpley said... but on steroids. They'd parade out Eric Dondero and treat him like he has any credibility. Penny Freeman would cry all over the place and admit to being a Freemason. The MSM makes me sick.

And I mean if we do forcefully push back how we must, and engage in the legal tactics to turn this thing around. With a little violence and/or our obvious resolve not to back down, and if the nomination is turned around......
Everyone here needs to understand this is not about the election any longer.
If Ron Paul is nominated, Obama will steal the election.
We must accept that fact as certain, and a given.
However, its much better for us to go out with a full on attack and declare to Obama we won't tolerate it again...than to not.
That is the TRUE purpose of clinching the nomination!
Yes, Obama *will* come back with his deceptive new financial system to reward people...and continue string everyone possible along, into the New World Order & this won't go away.
But he will now have few allies left, THIS is the strength our defiance can serve in Tampa.
