Thank You Justin...You May Well Be the Next Ron PaulSubmitted by fonta on Mon, 08/13/2012 - 16:15
You have shown your true solidarity, integrity, honesty and fighting spirit over and over again...but especially the past few days. You have shown your true colors. Many (and perhaps most) of us will back you through whatever comes next. Thank you for standing with us.
Thank you for agreeing to speak at the metal rock/liberty forum speakers bureau/LP Party duplicity gala. We know that you and Chuck Baldwin and a few others agreed to speak only to honor and stand with Ron Paul. Of course, you have followed this entire escapade. Everyone there will, of course, laud Ron Paul as they say "goodbye" to him. How could you not once you behold the man. Having covered that, they will move on to their agenda. And, they will all come to the Rally while showing their duplicity. Not you. You have no duplicity. You endorsed Ron Paul and have made it clear that you stand with your endorsement of Ron Paul Republicanism. You will do what you have to do to ensure that we have a voice in Congress. .
Thank you for accepting Ron Paul's invitation to speak at his Rally. Some of us know that Dr. Paul (who is nobody's fool as far as political machinations) surveyed the landscape, looked at his purpose for the Rally and the Convention, the conflicting agendas and asked himself, "Who stands with me?"
Thank you also for wanting to stand with the true Ron Paul contingency throughout the afternoon and evening and placing a much higher value on that then what was going on down the street. Of course you weren't going to stand by Dr. Paul, speak to the Rally, and then head over to Gary's Festival to speak to a bunch of folks who after three days in the sun, most likely would hardly be the best audience possible on a Sunday evening. We would much rather you come party with us. Everyone is invited and we want to salute (not bash) you and rally you to creating your own legacy.
Thank you also for responding to the tacky ploys by insidious political operatives and the grasshopper brigade on your facebook, here and elsewhere with exercising your freedom of speech to respond at this time with a statement about the LP's candidate showing "his" duplicity. Funny, it was really rather innoculous...just stating something he'd done.
In doing so, you gave the opposition a childish opportunity to "bash you" for turning down their fest which will have o influence on the political landscape for an event that defines your current and future political career. Gave them the opportunity to say, "look at Amash, he took a swat at us"...so we will call him a "neo-con sell-out just like we did with Rand and will do with anyone else who might offer a liberated dissenting voice for us in Congress."
You responded with a resounding ...."You go Hollywood opposition. Subsidies, subsidies, subsidies." You showed your true colors in that smack down to (not the latest pawn who can climb a mountain) but to the puppeteers and agenda behind him. Bring it on, Hollywood...let the games begin. We will play by the rules and beat you at your own game."
I salute you Justin Amash and am beginning to feel something that I was afraid I would never feel again. I look at Justin Amash, Barry Goldwater Jr., and Rand....and say, behold the men who stand tall with Ron Paul.
(Even Cato funded Reason.com saw Justin some time ago. http://reason.com/archives/2012/02/24/who-will-be-the-next-r... Interesting to note that the Judge, Barry, and Tucker were all approached by the LP as VP. They turned the offer down (although the Judge showed interest in 2016.) And, rumor has it that Justin was once on the short list (that would have been the shot that killed the pesky RP Republicans) but it became apparent early on that the Justin Amash boat would not float in that direction. I still wonder what GJ said to Ron Paul that disgusted him so that he would reportedly "kick" him out of his office. I can sure put together a scenario. Suffice it to say that anyone now bashing Justin Amash is showing their true colors. My boat will never float in that direction...it is everything I despise.
