Florida, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Connecticut All Have Elections on TUESDAY August 14th, 2012

Like so many that I speak to, very few people know that there are a bunch of what's called "run off" primaries taking place before the General Election on November 6th.

That means everyone needs to get off their arse and vote "liberty candidates" into office so we can change the playing field in the country that has bent and broken the rules against us.

On Tuesday 8/14/12 people in Florida, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Connecticut hava a chance to pull the rug out from under the status quo because the sheeple are only motivated to go vote in the big elections. Below I've collected names of liberty candidates from different sources. I suggest voting for these people, but nothing trumps your own research. I don't know it all and someone's definition of a "liberty candidate" may differ from yours.

It should say something like "Proceeds to Runoff on 13 August 2012" under a candidate's name if they're participating in this election.

I'm not in either of these states, is there a run off election in my state? There are a bunch and you can find out here: http://www.thegreenpapers.com/G12/events.phtml?format=chrono...

There's no one for me to vote for in the run off, who should I be considering to vote for in addition to Ron Paul in the November 6th general election? I've put together a list of as many liberty candidates as I could find, organized by election date, here: http://www.dailypaul.com/242897/updated-list-of-liberty-cand...

There's a run off or other election, but none of the participants are listed as liberty candidates I'm not omnipotent. Just because I don't have someone on my list doesn't mean they're not a liberty candidate. It's up to you to do the research. Find out when your next election by you is at http://www.thegreenpapers.com/G12/events.phtml?format=chrono... and research the candidates.

There's someone not on your list that should be Please leave that person's name, office running for, election date and any other information in the comment section of http://www.dailypaul.com/242897/updated-list-of-liberty-cand...

There's someone on this list that shouldn't be This list is collected from many different sources and what qualifies someone as a "liberty candidate" may not meet everyone's qualifications. Please feel free to leave a comment stating your opinion and why. I would like all opinions, good and bad, to be put out there so everyone can make a decision based on all information.

What can I do to get more people to the polls for these elections to vote for these liberty candidates? The main problem is that only a very few people even know these elections are taking place. Please share this information in EVERY way you can. Re-tweet, thumbs up, add to every social network, ask the mods to put this on the front page on the 7th, etc. Market this like you would anything else.

I absolutely can not believe Tommy Thompson won

We really had a great group running. Jeff Fitzgerald Speaker of the Assembly who held everything together through the recall. Eric Hovde and Mark Neumann. Both fiscally conservative. My only thought is that Tommy was Gov. for 16 years. The longest anyone has served. I was at the polls and primarily it was senior citizens voting. I spoke to one on my way out that I play cards with. He said he was voting for Tommy because he did not know anything about the others. I think it was all about name recognition. I am not saying he was not a good governor, but he is certainly establishment. Pretty disappointing. Nothing like the Retired Governors Club in the Senate.

Yay Minnesota! Now we need to

Yay Minnesota! Now we need to get rid of Franken. He needs to go back to comedy. Loved him on SNL!

Minnesota results

are updated at this site as they come in. Kurt Bills is kicking a**! Looks like David Carlson's attack ad backfired.

CONNIE MACK Endorsed by Mitt ROMNEY & Jeb BUSH

Looks like the neocons have figured out how to "speak Tea Party"
Connie Mack DID vote against the patriot act.
MARIELENA STUART was born & raised in Cuba. Members of her family were tortured & killed. Her father was a political prisoner. The only thing I don't like is she keeps dropping the "in the Ronald Reagan tradition" card. But I guess I like an underdog and Connie Mack is an establishment candidate, so I will vote for Marielena Stuart

That's nice to know but

I wasn't being critical of your post, just sayin'

oh no, I meant critical of

oh no, I meant critical of the candidates. That's a good thing. Keep people thinking for themselves.

This is vital

information. Thank you. I am heading to the polls in about 15 minutes in Florida.

I hope that this link is accessible to all who are interested. Polls in Florida close in 2 hours. This is mainly for Dade County voters. Perhaps it will help some of you today.

May not include all available, but almost all.

Great Job Janice!!!

You truly Rock. :)

Now it's about the Constitution and the fight to defend it.

Hey Floridians

Which are the Liberty minded judges we should be voting for?

I talked to Kalil and Borello

I talked to Kalil and Borello both very nice and during the conversation seemed to be liberty minded but you never know

Damn !!!

This posting was definitely a few days late in my opinion. I could have convinced several people to vote for various candidates if this thread had been started a few days ago.
I even started a thread a month or so ago asking for who to vote for here in Florida and got zero replies. Well, they've already gone and voted and I did'nt bother not having a clue who to vote for.

yea i was looking them up, no

yea i was looking them up, no one really good in fl we gotta get some of our guys in office

I'm sorry moth, but I've been

I'm sorry moth, but I've been having a lot of trouble getting threads like these onto the front page so they could do the most good. The little success I've had is when I create a post on the day or the day before it becomes really relevant.

That stinks with all the

That stinks with all the Johnson post clogging things up.... The daily paul should consider an elections tab for these sort of time sensitive important election posts.

I just became aware of the fact that the lawsuit against the RNC was dismissed. The judge did leave it open for refiling, so one more shot at this, but time is running out. http://onesquarelight.wordpress.com/2012/08/07/liberty-deleg...

The attorney already refiled. Check out my thread. I check the PACER system everyday and update the documentation.

Additional info for Florida

Two Ron Paul supporters I didn't see on the list: Uriah Mathews is running for State Committeeman in Santa Rosa County and Rebekah Johansen is running for State Committeewoman in Escambia County.

I've heard Mike McAllister speak and he sounds like a neocon - thinks we should keep involved militarily in foreign countries "no matter how long it takes and no matter how much it takes." I like Marielena Stuart much better from what I've seen of her on YouTube and her website: she's against socialism having seen what it has done to Cuba, she home schools her children, she's against Agenda 21 and so on.

In November I plan to vote for Calen Fretts for State Representative; Jeff Miller voted for the extension of the Patriot Act and NDAA.

please do your own research

This list is nice but some are questionable. Its possible the other candidates are not as libertarian and thus the best pick. and BRING PEOPLE TO THE POLLS! This way 1 vote turns into 3.

His name is Edward Snowden

What is Capitalism?

very true. This list is made

very true. This list is made up of suggestions gathered from different places and people. Nothing replaces your own judgment.

I disagree with some of the Florida picks...

Lee County Sheriff-Christian Miester is not on the ballot. Tim Fisher is a Police State type career cop.
Vote Mike Scott for Sherrif is what I am doing.

Connie Mack? No way! Although he votes favorably at times, he is old school establishment. His "Penny Plan" is akin to slow pouring molasses and we need running water. He has been less than responsive to the constituent.
My vote goes to retired Col. Mike McCallister whom is more like Rep. Lt. Col. Alan West.

I am in the (Florida)19th Congressional District, Senate District 30, State House Dostrict 79, Precinct 64 and here is my card for todays election.

US Senate-Mike McAllister
Clerk of Court-Linda Doggett
Sherrif-Mike Scott
Tax Collector-Kyle Lee
Cnty. Commissioner,district 2-Cecil Pendergrass
Cnty. Commissioner,district 3-Larry Kiker
Cnty. Commissioner,district 5-Sonny Haas
US Congress-Byron Donalds
State Representative district 76-Ray Rodriquez, district 79-Matt Caldwell
Karen Miller-MC Fernandez-Joeseph Simpson-David McElrath
School Board-Paul Schafer

I have attended many vetting events. As a "Ron Paul" Liberty Precinct Committeeman, I have diligently questioned every candidate I could. I have discussed the candidates positions with other Ron Paul Liberty supporters and we are very much in agreement as to the picks.

Whom you vote for is your personal choice, just please get out there and vote!

In Liberty!

Mike McCallister NOOOOO

I've heard Mike McAllister speak and he's a diehard neocon - thinks we should keep involved militarily in foreign countries "no matter how long it takes and no matter how much it takes." I like Marielena Stuart much better from what I've seen of her on YouTube and her website: she's against socialism having seen what it has done to Cuba, she home schools her children, she's against Agenda 21 and so on.

Mack for Senate in FL.

Someone fill me in if I'm wrong, but from what I can tell, Connie Mack voted against Republican budgets for spending too much, he voted against patriot act and NDAA. He proposed the Penny plan in the house. Just based on those things, I think this guy is pretty damn good. I'll be voting for him in a few hours, unless there is something I don't know...

"When I say liberty I do not simply mean what is referred to as 'free enterprise.' I mean liberty of the individual to think his own thoughts and live his own life as he desires to think and to live..." - Robert A. Taft

You're right. Connie Mack is

You're right. Connie Mack is great on economic issues and great on civil liberties and deserves our support.
