SACRAMENTO—

Bay-Area lawmakers proposed a new bill this week that would require gun vendors to report anyone who buys 1,000 rounds of ammunition within a five-day span.

AB-2512 would give vendors 24-hours to report the name and address of anyone who purchased 1000-rounds.

"A good person comes in, who enjoys shooting, you're putting them now as being a criminal. They haven't done anything wrong," said James Deaser, owner of Just Guns in Sacramento.

The legislation proposal comes in light of last month's shooting in Aurora, Colo. The shooter was able to buy 6,000 rounds of ammunition without raising a red flag.

Another new rabidly Anti-Gun bill proposal from a Democrat, this time from California. Didn't ya know? It's Tuesday.

Well, it wouldn't be Commufornia without crazy 'law makers.'

If there's a 'mandatory pscyh. screening' required for anything, it should be for ALL those who seek govt 'work.'

In fact, IF Dems truly 'care' about "public safety," they should WELCOME huge bulk ammo purchases!

Logic alone should tell these bozos that in order for anyone to get good at anything, you need to practice, A LOT.

If they can make the statist case to 'require' training before CCW or even merely buying a gun, like some Commufornian and NY legislators want, why would they NOT want proficient gunowners who know how to handle their smallarms, if they're gonna buy it, have it, keep it, and use it, anyway??

So if they don't want lawfully defensive gunowners from shooting stray rounds, they should welcome MORE ammo.

RELATED: well, at least the 'bullet-button ban' bill is DEAD!

...for now, as with all things 'gun control.'

Still, one good news from Cali, on the 2nd amend. front:

California Bullet Button Bill (SB 249) Dies in Committee

Posted on August 14, 2012 by Robert Farago

“We were made aware early this afternoon, directly by the staff of the Appropriations Committee, that SB 249 will not be heard on Thursday, as was previously reported,” gunownersca.com reports. “They have decided to let the bill die, due to the enourmous pressure put on the Capitol by the pro-gun community led by Gun Owners of California! Be assured, that our excellent staff has made sure this information is accurate, before calling off the troops. We were the first to receive this news, from our contacts in the State Capitol, thanks to the work and dedication of our Executive Director and Chief Lobbyist, Sam Paredes. Given our work in the building, every day, we are confident in this victory.”

Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution, inevitable.

They're trying to preemptively strike where they see

future problems.

They refuse to change their policies so instead they'll choke out any chance of resistance.

The question is.. What will those being targeted do as their strategy to combat their maneuvers.

Buying 999 seems simple enough but I like to think further ahead. Maybe I'm just paranoid but I would imagine you'll get sellers of ammo that will fall inline and want to cuddle up to Uncle Sham by turning even lower ammo purchasers in and or keeping tabs on them.

I feel like the door is closing and if anyone wants to stock up they'd better do it right now. Not tomorrow.

I'll keep that in mind

and I'll be sure to buy 1001 rounds next time I stock up.
