Pat Buchanan Glowingly Endorses Romney's Neocon VP Pick

Maybe Pat wants a job with Fox News? He seems just as excited about this pick as William Kristol.

by Pat Buchanan | Human Events

"...Romney is owed a debt for choosing a man of principles and conservative philosophy as a running mate, thereby giving this country a clear choice as to the future it wants to live in..."

Will the real Pat Buchanan please stand up!

Will the real Pat Buchanan please stand up!

I noticed in 2007-2008 that there was the MSNBC Pat Buchanan, the McLaughlin Group Pat Buchanan and the Pat Buchanan website/blog Pat Buchanan. All 3 very different. You could literally watch and read from 3 different Pat Buchanans in one day. It seems he will say whatever he's paid to say.

Resist the temptation to feed the trolls.

Comments below are way off,

Comments below are way off, Pat Buchanan is no Neo-con or a supporter of the NWO. Run a search on Youtube "Pat Buchanan calls out NWO" Public speech in CA in 2000 Campaign right out saying "The New World Order is a reversal, an overturning of the American Revolution" In "Where the Right Went Wrong" he skillfully describes how the Neo Con's totally took over in the early 2000's. Pat's not really a big Liberty guy, he is more a social conservative, he over laps with RP on being present guys who could have fit in the "Old Right", Robert Taft crowd Non-interventionists, America First, pull out of the UN. Both pro-life and Republic not Empire types. Total opposites on economic policy though, RP being total free markets and Pat B's a tariff guy. But he's from a different era, when lots more was made here. All in all i consider them both true and legitimate patriots....

*Wisconsin Constitution* Article I, Section 25 "The people have the right to keep and bear arms for security, defense, hunting, recreation or any other law-abiding purpose"

Sad, sad, sad

Maybe he thinks this will repair his "antisemite" image, which was a smear job. They're all jockeying for their spoys in the NWO.

Mitt Romney has said he will

Mitt Romney has said he will appoint 19 of 23 of Bushs past cabinet and administration which will include many neocons who pushed for the war in Iraq and the war in Afghanistan which among other things greatly increased the national debt. Anyone who thinks those who formed the Plan for a New America century has disappeared is sadly mistaken.Their goal is the same. Google www.LandDestroyer/ Which Path to Persia. Bob Marshall

Of course he will. The Israelis have told him

that he will.

Wonder if...

...Mr. Cheney and Ms. Rice will be his paid "war mentors"?

"Pleased to meet you, hope you guessed my name,

What's confusing you is just the
nature of my game."

The music played in my head...

as I read this.

Could be the beers.

Unsurprising, his sister works for Romney

Pat Buchanan's sister, Bay Buchanan is a senior Romney campaign advisor and has been so since 2008. Buchanan has always been very close to the establishment.

Really now!? Are the families being threatened or something? What's up with this!?

Long time White House 'lurker'... confidante, Neocon and...

hanger on, betrayer, seeker of fortune and fame, Pat has led the real conservatives astray for decades!

He is no relevant to liberty, to Ron Paul, to this fight!

Ignore him! Move on. Erase the thread! It is a distraction.

F U Pat!

Hey GOP, where's my vote?

Understand that Pat Buchanan

Understand that Pat Buchanan is as socially conservative as they come.

Heck, a lot of his positions fit really well with the neo-cons, except that he is very, very strongly anti-war.

He was against Clinton war...

But not Bush war!

He was against Johnson war... but for Nixon... against FDR... but for ...

He WAS against Bush's war.

Do some research.

Fair-ish analysis / not that glowing

I didn't see a glowing endorsement, more just an analysis of campaign strategy. Considering how many other 'analyses' in the press were just 'Ryan bleeeech barf barf' I guess this would look glowing.

But this is good comedy from Romney:

“I have chosen this young leader Paul Ryan to be my partner because he has thought more deeply and read more closely into the causes and consequences of our fiscal crisis than any other man in Washington."

Currently consuming: Gatto: "Underground history of education..", FDR; Wii U; NEP Football

Mwahaha,hey Pat you're wrong...

It is even known across the pond. (not by our MSM though)
Check out this article, the headline says it all. Though it´s in dutch, you´ll be able to figure this headline out without google translate.

"On résiste à l'invasion des armées; on ne résiste pas à l'invasion des idées." -Victor Hugo-
"Ideas spread, you can't stop them. An idea whose time has come cannot be stopped by any army or any government!" -Ron Paul-

P Ryan is " a man of principles and conservative philosophy"???

Pat B, how can a person who is for all these below be a man of principles & conservative philosophy!?!

P Ryan is for
- auto bailouts
- medicare expansion
- housing subsidies
- National ID
- making Patriot Act permanent
- surveillance without warrant
- No Child Left Behind
- keeping troops in Iraq indefinitely
- 2008 & 2009 stimulus

Thanks for the list, I hope

Thanks for the list, I hope you don't mind but I'm going to use it in a comment on that site :)

By all means! (This list is from a post on DP a few days ago. .

. and I can't find the original post! I just jotted down the list on a scrap paper on my way out to a local gop meeting.)

yes it is very clear he is a

yes it is very clear he is a collectivist and if people would just turn off their damn tv sets and do some research it would be easily understood. too bad i dont see that happening soon so now everyone thinks this guy is ron paul

Pat Buchanan is Jesuit trained --

you know, the militant arm of the Vatican. Do some research and you'll see how Jesuits have been a threat to the sovereignty of many nations past and present. Watch the up/down vote fight.:-)

Christians should not be warmongers! http://www.lewrockwell.com/vance/vance87.html

Vatican recognizes no government

They believe they have higher authority. Its the reason they don't report criminal activities perpetrated by "management" to local authorities. They are above it and deal with it by moving people across borders.

If you or I were to aid someone who committed a crime to cover it up & transfer to Bolivia then we would violated multiple laws in 2 countries.

Apparently this doesn't apply. They don't feel the need to respect sovereignty or laws. The claim canon law addresses it.

"One resists the invasion of armies; one does not resist the invasion of ideas" Victor Hugo

Pat is always a puzzle.

I think his emotional optimism too frequently runs counter to his more sober analyses. This prevents him from ever being of any use as a genuine MSM advocate of small government. Remember, he worked for the Keynesian Warmonger-in-chief Tricky Dick. Pat always seems on the verge of putting it together, but can never quite stop himself from periodically retreating.
