Paul Ryan's Inconsistency on Fiscal Issues

While Paul Ryan is acclaimed for his "standing up to the debt crisis" by republicans, listen to what he has to say about his support for the NDAA.

"H.R.4310, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2013, which passed the House with my support on May 18, 2012 by a vote of 299-120, authorized funding for national defense at $554 billion for the base budget and $88.5 billion in overseas contingency operations including Afghanistan. The bill provides our war fighters and their families with the care and support they need, deserve, and have earned; while ensuring that proposed drawdown plans do not cut to the heart of the Army and Marine Corps. It also provides our military with the resources, and authorities it needs to win the war in Afghanistan and continue to prosecute the wider War on Terror. The NDAA is currently awaiting action in the Senate."

Now we all know what this does to our personal Liberty which is bad enough but putting that aside this bill is dangerously expensive. He is throwing out numbers like 500 billion without a flinch. Republicans think Paul Ryan will tackle the debt crisis relentlessly yet he is supporting bills like this which cost tax payers billions of dollars.

We as true conservatives need to show the republican voters that the only way we can truly stand up to this debt crisis is to elect candidates who are willing to cut everything including wasteful military spending.

Thanks for reading.

P.S. I know we all know this already but I found it interesting how he is boasting his support for a bill that costs 500 billion.
