Heads Up: Will They Try to Take Away Ron Paul Signs at Convention? Plan Well.Submitted by James_Madison_Lives on Fri, 08/17/2012 - 18:26
Had a conversation with an indie reporter last night who was at the 2004 Democratic Convention, reporting the kinds of things that don't make it onto TV. He said in order to preserve an appearance of monolithic unity the Kerry people were taking away other primary candidates' signs even before Kerry was officially nominated, so they wouldn't be caught by the television cameras.
They didn't want the cameras to catch a whiff of the fact that there was or had been anyone else in the race.
Therefore we need to have our signs in a number of formats, including roll-up which will fit into a pants leg or tucked under your shirt.
Prepare for them to play dirty. We have every right to display Paul signs before the final nomination vote is over and there is an OFFICIAL nominee, not the railroad train they are trying to assume.
