I'd like to hear some thoughts on this one given the events of the past week, and if you've not heard the news then check out the latest:

I dont think...

... Mr Howard would make a good VP.... Congress could be a good start for him. We have serious problems in this Nation and we need serious answers... I'm sure Ron Paul already knows exactly who he is going to have for VP. I don't think that is even up for discussion because we have to trust his judgement on this matter.

Just my opinion... and definitely not putting your opinion down.

Gotcha chief

It wasn't something I'd been mulling over for a long time. It was a spur of the moment thought considering the rehashing of the newsletter issue earlier this week, and the fact that Mr. Howard has just secured the recount in NH. It's sort of an ephemeral idea. But he would have my support if he were chosen:-)

Mark Sanford

I'd rather see governor of South Carolina Mark Sanford give Ron an endorsement. Ron can give him the veep spot if that does it for him. He's supposed to be pretty much inline with Ron Paul's ideas.

It would almost seem to convenient for Ron Paul to choose a black running mate after all these accusations of racism.

I've heard a lot of people say good things...

about him. My father recently moved to SC (and you know I made sure to push him to vote for RP in the upcoming primary) so I'll have to find out what some of his friends down there think of Sanford.

I think we should at least

I think we should at least back him for congress!

Not a bad idea! If we keep this topic up...

then he'll definitely get some notoriety, and then maybe some people from his home state will end up backing him!

plus both of them have first

plus both of them have first names as last and first names.

hahahaha!

I'm starting to think the old saying that people with two first names can't be trusted is just completely wrong!

Only if Howard removes the statement about God...

Only if Howard removes the statement on his website about God telling him one night back in 1992 that he would one day run for president against Hillary Clinton and win. That's too freaky for me. But I agree with his platform!

Agreed

But he did just put his name in with Kucinich for the NH recount and put the down payment on it too.

I'm good with this idea, as long as he is for peace, prosperity

and freedom

I briefly checked out his

I briefly checked out his website. He seems like an alright guy. I had no idea he was black, that doesn't really matter to me but in light of the racial accusations made toward Ron Paul it would be a good move to have a black VP.

a gesture of good will?

When will we pass beyond the skin?

That...

is exactly what I was thinking. That and the fact that he's just done RP a great service by filing for the recount and putting the down payment on it. My thinking is all relative to what's happened this week, but right now it struck me as a smart idea.
