Download the above pdf. and let me know what you think. I want elephants (stars right-side up) in the upper corners and Lincoln and Reagan on either side in the middle.

Then on the back I want Paul as doctor and Paul as service man on either side.

What do you all think?

What do you think of adding the fact that

Dr. Paul is always in the black (including this campaign race) as opposed to how much Romney and the others spent and are still in the red? That Dr. Paul already has a budget plan written out without raising taxes, whereas the rest do not even have a plan?

Hello, This is a great idea,

Hello,

This is a great idea, thank you for doing this. When I read through it, I would suggest that any comparisons done between Ron Paul and another candidate would be easier to read if Ron Paul's stats always appeared on the righthand side vs switching between right and left? So a delegate can peruse the info and quickly see Ron Paul's info in a consistent space.

Thanks: link to final draft added

I posted the final up yesterday: http://www.dailypaul.com/249786/the-rnc-1-sheet-get-in-the-h...

As far as which side Paul's name is on; some else commented on that.

My goal was to lead the reader from Romney to Paul, then to put Paul before both Romney (in Troop support) then before Ryan on budget (emphasizing the debt owed to the Federal Reserve as the FED is Paul's most accepted position within the GOP and reminds them that he knows the economy). Then to put Paul beyond Romney and Ryan and against Obama. It's the old switch-a-roo!

Flyer Title Suggestion

(Suggested Flyer Title)
45% Vote Ron Paul For President With 58% Favorability.

In a new poll conducted on 5 August 2012, by Pulse Opinion Research matching up presidential candidates Barack Obama and Ron Paul, 45% of one thousand likely voters across America said they would vote Ron Paul for President.

58% of those surveyed have a favorable view of Ron Paul, while just 36% have an unfavorable view. Compare this to Mitt Romney (50% favorable, 45% unfavorable) and Barack Obama (51% favorable, 48% unfavorable). Ron Paul is viewed in a favorable light by significantly more people than Obama or Romney.

The "likely voters" were asked the following question: "Suppose in this year's Presidential Election you had a choice between Republican Ron Paul and Democrat Barack Obama. If the election were held today would you vote for Republican Ron Paul or Democrat Barack Obama?"
The results are: 45% Ron Paul and 47% Barack Obama. (+/-3%)

(Suggested Flyer title)
Ron Paul Can Beat Obama And Romney Can't

A national Pulse Opinion Research poll conducted 14 August 2012, reveals 41% of likely voters would choose Ron Paul over Barack Obama for President.

The average of all the major polls, as reported on RealClearPolitics.com, has Obama leading Romney by 3.5%. Obama leads Romney 237 to 191 in the Electoral College, and InTrade has Obama 57% and Romney 42%. Romney can't beat Obama and Ron Paul can.

Ron Paul's high rating in this national poll provides evidence for a compelling question the Delegates should ask at the Republican Nominating Convention in Tampa, Florida: Why nominate Romney if he can't win? The polls show, even after his massive media campaign, Romney is still losing to Obama and the polls show, with a media campaign, Ron Paul can beat Obama.

Both polls are here:
http://www.dailypaul.com/249510/paul-vs-obama-poll-2-results

Paying off the Debt: Immediately?

Technically Paul's budget doesn't show a debt reduction. As percentage of GDP it immediately decreases. As well, there is the instant removal of debt to the federal reserve.

Should I then say; "Immediately" ?

Consider this....

How Romney & Obama are the same.
see bullet points:

http://www.alt-market.com/articles/984-40-points-that-prove-...

Less Obama, More Paul

I only put Obama in those two polls because people there do want to beat Obama.

I don't think comparing Romney to Obama is what we need to do, I want to use as much space on this to promote (and contrast) Paul, and educated delegates on the process.

Jack Wagner

Great flyer.....

Perhaps you should include info regarding civil liberties such as Romney's support of the Patriot Act and NDAA, and Dr. Paul's opposition to them.

JB4LBRTY!

This if for Paul Delegates to hand-out to other delegates

The War issue I think is the most important thing to win this crowd over on. We have to win them on that, so I wanted to put a decent amount of space into showing that the TROOPS are with Paul. So his foreign policy can't be crazy. It must actually be what the Troops Prefer.

I used some space to shoot down Ryan's plan and link delegates to the number-by-number budget Paul released (all future Presidents should be held to doing this).

The three issues up top are Republican Issues. I wanted to first insure them that they would be represented on these issues (if they choose Paul). Then it was win over on Troop Support, solidify with budget (shooting down both Romney and Ryan), and present solution. "Nominate Ron Paul"

Link to the recent polls we funded?

There should be a link to the polls. Are they online somewhere? A news story?

There will be links

I published the first poll on my site: http://freeindependentsun.com/republic/new-poll-58-favorabil... - and I actually was emailed the result for the 2 poll; which was already published on here.

I only helped promote the polls, someone else actually did the entire production/direction of the polls. I'm not sure who all has published them. Maybe we can make a meta-list on here of the polls publication around the internet.

Poll #2 is being released today to the same "News Release" services
and individual emails.

A TOOL FOR THE RNC DELEGATES

The Polls were originally conceived as a tool for the RNC Delegates to convince their fellow Delegates that Ron Paul can beat Obama and Romney can't. I believe this proposition is true and compelling to win votes for Paul's nomination.

important page 2 edits necessary

these changes will make these sections more effective by allowing for a more comprehensive apples to apples comparative analysis

1. page 2 top
- Abortion: instead of "always votes no!" it should read "has always opposed"
- Gun Regulation: instead of "always votes no!" it should read "has always opposed"
- Taxes: instead of "always votes no!" it should read "has never voted for a tax increase"

. "Always votes NO!", due to repetition, all caps stylization, and cliche-like readability, loses its comprehensive value and renders the information less meaningful

2. page 2 middle
- "top financial contributors": take out all dollar amounts for both Romney and Paul
- "top military donations" leave as is, (do not remove dollar amounts)

visually, the higher dollar numbers in Romneys column in the "top financial contributors" section, though not the point, are able to be read as a positive for Romney and the lower numbers in Paul's column are able to be read as a negative. Because its the "who" and not "how much" that you're trying to communicate, its advised to just keep the names of the contributors and to remove the numbers. The data will be less convoluted this way and in turn more effective.

the dollar amounts in the "top military contributions" section are obviously necessary in this section as it is "how much" and in comparison to "who" that you are trying to communicate. For this reason the way you have presented the information in this section is most effective and should not be changed.

I'm an art director in the marketing/advertisment industry. I provide comprehensive communication solutions on the daily. (pun totally intended)

I like what you said but:

When I see most military contributions I would insert (Individual) so it doesn't look like contributions are coming from the Pentagon. I realize you are speaking to informed Delegates but most people would not think individual contributions after reading Goldman Sacs for Romney.

Headline Suggestions

I'd like to suggest that a strong attention getting headline be used to interest the readers. In most cases, over 50% of the success of any ad is based on the headline and subheadline. Almost everyone will read the headline - and then lose interest if it does not capture them.

Here are a few suggestions -

Why Let Obama Win the Election?
(sub)- It is still possible to win

What Are You Doing Here?
(sub) Hopefully you have a purpose

There is Still Time To Restore America
(sub) You have the power to make it or break it

Are You Ready To Give This Election To Obama?
(sub) It's Your Call

A sub-headline in a typeface that is smaller than the headline can be effective.

I'd also like to suggest that the headline should not be designed to appeal solely to Ron Paul supporters. RP supporters do not need any more convincing.

To soften up the people who have rejected Ron Paul, orient the headline to solving an overall problem that is bigger than any one candidate. Later in the flyer you can show why Ron Paul is the only solution available. And also show that he is the only solution, not because you like him, but because he is all we have at this point.

How To Get These Flyers To Tampa

Most people who are traveling will not have the room to carry flyers. I would suggest to take about five copies of the flyer on one CD to Tampa (make five folders). Five copies are needed in case one of the files becomes damaged. Or put them on more than one pen drive.

When you arrive in Tampa, go to a copy shop and have them printed on canary paper. Canary flyers are better than white flyers because they are more attractive. Some places might do it for 5 cents each if you make some phone calls from the yellow pages.

Or, if there is a Tampa Ron Paul group, maybe they can be contacted to print the flyers there in advance of your trip. And maybe you can co-ordinate the handout effort with fellow RP supporters.

It's a great flyer, if one

It's a great flyer, if one asks me.

As to why NOT voting for Romney is a NO-brainer, it perfectly conveys the idea!

Great job! :)

Take out the Ron Paul crap.

Take out the Ron Paul crap. Is your goal to get them to vote for Paul or to get the to not vote for Mitt Romney?

One of these goals is achievable, the other is not. Tell them the Republican Party can do better than Mitt Romney and mention the other good conservatives that might come out of a brokered convention:

Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, Chris Christie, Marco Rubio, that Yosemite Sam fellow from Texas, etc.

Close with We don't beat Obama by putting up a big government clone.

Romney supported heathcare mandates. Romney was/is/who-knows pro-choice. Romney won't even release his tax returns.

Don't make a pro paul flyer, make an anti-romney flyer.

You need to brush up a little

as a delegate understand that a brokered convention is not possible at this point.

I hope you go to the convention Zachary and kick them in the teeth so to speak because this is going to be the biggest floor fight we will see since the 60s I believe..Never back down.Don't forget to keep them honest and make sure Rule 37(b) is enforced to the letter.
http://www.dailypaul.com/235256/rnc-rule-37-section-b-or-how...

It will be an Open Convention after the 1st round when Mitt fails to receive 1140 votes.

http://www.dailypaul.com/216711/the-delegate-race-arizona-an...

"Instead of a Brokered Convention which is no longer possible by GOP rules, if no candidate on the 1st ballot gets a majority we will have an OPEN convention. Each Delegate will then be legally able to vote their conscience, based on the rules from their states.

The Establishment fears an Open Convention more than anything, for it means the actual Delegates will chose instead of politicians, the media, or back room power brokers. The Convention can then nominate ANYONE, whether they have been a candidate or not up to that point, or they can unite behind one of the current candidates. It will certainly be an interesting convention!"

Sounds like we think alike.

Sounds like we think alike. Don't worry about me...worry about whomever tries to cast my vote for me for someone else.

What I wonder Westfall is if your State leader in Tampa tries to

cast votes against the will of any member of your State delegation are there any rules Roberts Rules or RNC rules to motion to remove them and elect another one right then and there? That is the question that must be answered if they will not follow Rule 37(b).

http://www.dailypaul.com/235256/rnc-rule-37-section-b-or-how...

http://ivn.us/2012/05/16/a-first-ballot-rebellion-in-tampa/

Another RNC rule that seems to indicate the primacy of the individual delegate’s preference at the nominating convention is Rule 37, Section (b), which states:

“In the balloting, the vote of each state shall be announced by the chairman of such state’s delegation, or his or her designee; and in case the vote of any state shall be divided, the chairman shall announce the number of votes for each candidate, or for or against any proposition; but if exception is taken by any delegate from that state to the correctness of such announcement by the chairman of that delegation, the chairman of the convention shall direct the roll of members of such delegation to be called, and the result shall be recorded in accordance with the vote of the several delegates in such delegation.”

All delegates from every State that support Ron Paul must make sure that this rule is enforced to the letter.

RNC doesn't operates under

RNC doesn't operates under Roberts Rules. It operates under senate procedure.

The Party of Lincoln and Reagan?

Is that just to sucker in the delegates? I hope so, because those were probably the two worst Presidents ever.

No King but Jesus, no President but Ron Paul

Well he did say "party of".

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

Looking good.

Rule #38 - the sentence should be in quotes.

As Governor Raised Taxes - This is too weak. You need a number that is verified.

In one section, Romney is on the left column and Paul is on the right column. Below that, they are reversed. It would be easier if you kept one person on one side of the column for consistency.

Top financial contributors is good but ommit Paul from that since he is listed in the Top Military Contributions. Listing each branch of service is too wordy.

Balances the budget: should read Romney/Ryan.

I love feedback!!!

> Quotations. Will do!

As Governor Raised Taxes - This is too weak. You need a number that is verified.
> Can you help me with that? Do you think the years I used are the best. I was thinking this would be where delegates can have conversations about these things. If you have some hard numbers please post them in a reply.

In one section, Romney is on the left column and Paul is on the right column. Below that, they are reversed. It would be easier if you kept one person on one side of the column for consistency.

> I did that on purpose. The top is leading from Romney. The Paul responses work better as a follow up to Romney's flip-flop. Then I move toward putting Paul first to highlight the positions as premiere. The top contributors not only shows how much more money Romney has and from whom (connecting to how Paul is doing pretty well without even campaigning and Romney is still trailing) in addition to reinforcing the Troops issue. I want to DOUBLE-proof Dr. Paul's Foreign Policy as being supported overwhelmingly by the Troops. His Foreign Policy is the biggest hurdle for most general Republicans. This is the issue we need to win them over on.

Top financial contributors is good but ommit Paul from that since he is listed in the Top Military Contributions. Listing each branch of service is too wordy.

> See above.

Balances the budget: should read Romney/Ryan.

> I wanted to isolate Ryan's plan against Paul. Sort of showing that even Ryan doesn't bring any real fiscal conservatism to the ticket. All the talk is the "Ryan Plan" so I wanted to juxtapose the Paul Plan.
