Ron Paul WILL be nominated at the Republican National Convention

They may have taken Louisiana and Massachusetts away from us but we have more than enough to handle that!

States with a plurality of Ron Paul support:

1. Iowa
2. Nevada
3. Minnesota
4. Virginia
5. Oregon

States with possibly a Ron Paul plurality:

1. Texas
2. Massachusetts
3. Guam - due to 8 of 9 delegates being "uncommitted"
4. Alaska
5. Arizona
6. Maine
7. Oklahoma
8. Colorado

Nomination in writing with notary seal ?

Is that right?

Ron Paul 2012

We can still have 8 states. Please don't give up.

Sure it looks bleak

I have been praying for some time now, just like many others, about a Godly man like Ron getting the Presidency and I surely will not give up on the Lord to answer.

Has Rob-me been nominated yet? NO!

I will not give up!

Oh Lord God Almighty, hear our cry, have mercy on us who call upon Thee, and let your wrath fall upon these wicked who have done everything sinful in this matter and have thumbed their nose at Thy very throne. Bring confusion upon them unto ruin as Thou did with the Mideonites and gave Gideon the victory.

Deliver us from this and be Thou our victory we pray in Christ Jesus' precious name.

Seattle loves Ron Paul...

...and are exited about his expected victory next week, at the Convention in Tampa.

President Paul.

Romney is toast

Mitt Romney and the RNC stole the nomination from Dr. Paul using various ploys including but not limited to stuffing ballot boxes, changing local convention rules to marginalize Paul delegates, changing convention venues to marginalize Dr. Paul's delegates, throwing away or not counting Ron Paul delegate votes, beating up and injuring Ron Paul delegates, and voiding Ron Paul delegate seats in violation of party rules. How can a man, whose campaign staff acted in his name, be trusted to keep his word?

I want Dr. Paul to suggest a VP. A write in vote is no good without a VP included, but, rather than throw my vote away, I will write in Dr. Paul without a VP just to let the RNC know that I am tired of tweedle-dee versus tweedle-dumb elections. I want a clear choice for my vote.

I cannot bring myself to vote for an Establishment goon. Romney is dishonest with us now, with RNC approval and complicity? Wait until he's in the White House.

can i chime in?

your forgetting about a couple other states too. what about arizona? remember when doug wead himself announced that we won az too? not positive on a number but i propose paul will have atleast 1/3 (theres 29 in total). and new hampshire, it says romney has 8 out of 16, thats half and a plurality for paul. kansas will show some light since their all anti romney. im saying 10+ move to pauls side. pennsylvania should be intresting to, does anyone realize that they played the same game as texas? they didnt reveal who they plan on voting for, over 25 delegates are up for grabs. im saying paul gets 20 in total from there atleast, and if you think territories will vote for paul, its proboy not going to be guam, it should the virgin islands. paul won the popular vote there and will probobly come out with a draw with roney for delegates (either will get 4 or 5). and what about georgia and south carolina? gingrich very recently released all his delegates- yet urging them to vote for romney. hes an establishment politician but his voters are anti romney. who knows what theyl choose but you can expect 5 or so from georgia to move over to paul- theyre our biggest gingrich ally. you have to remember two things- one that a ruling was made in the 9th district that all delegates can vote their conscience and 2 that this is reality- the delegates can do whatever they please and no one will know the true count until the day of. so we have

arizona
new hampshire
kansas
pennsylvania
virgin islands
georgia
south carolona

granted he might not win, he will show higher number than any delegate count because these delegates are in swing states, there in states where romney is winning by a small margin and others have delegates that no one knows who they could pick. lets create unity with republicans, conservatives, santorum supportes, and gingrich supporters. try and convince romneybots if you can but i feel as if theyve made up their mind and want to move - forward.

Nope, most of your numbers are wrong

look at the post below, for the delegate counts and possible variations for each state you mention.

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

To put some sense of reality back into this

This is the current position (pretty much).
No one knows exactly the delegate numbers.

What we can do in Tampa
http://ian56.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/tampa_30.html

We need to persuade non Ron Paul delegates that Romney will lose to Obama and will lose BADLY.
He will lose badly, but Fox is telling them otherwise. That is the ONLY thing ordinary delegates care about.
GOP Senators etc. would rather see an Obama win - if they don't lose their seats than let Ron Paul win.

Other things we can do.
http://www.dailypaul.com/248493/ron-paul-for-the-win

Make a GREAT speech in Tampa.
Something that might get broadcast and Romney delegates might want to listen to.
That means leaving out words like liberty and freedom.
http://ian56.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/a-speech-for-tampa.html

Persuade them that a candidate that would appeal to Independent voters is required, not someone the Indie's are going to end up hating (Romney/Ryan).
It is Independent voters that will decide the election NOT GOP.

YEP

Its almost sad that they think he's electable, simply because the MSM said so

Does anyone really believe

Does anyone really believe that the neocon and wall street infested GOP will let Paul win the nomination? Must be the same ones who think Jessee Benton has a secret plan!

Spoken like a true..

loser.

Only losers expect their adversaries to LET them win.

I try to change people every day. Do You?

Yep a true dreamer and fantasist

that makes our task far harder by spreading misinformation.

Who is actually doing ANYTHING to persuade non Ron Paul delegates to abstain instead of voting for Romney?
And don't mention Gilbert to me. He is another ignorant and ill informed one who does our cause of getting Ron Paul nominated, harm.

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

Thats the job of the Ron Paul

Thats the job of the Ron Paul delegates on the floor, not us

Unless you have some secret list of delegate names and emails you'd like to share

Sarah Palin supporters got a list of delegates somehow

they have done a mailing already.
How did they do that?

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

Can we get a front page mods?

Can we get a front page mods? pretty please?
The people need motivation.

"Believe half of what you see, and none of what you hear." - Benjamin Franklin

Alaska?

Not sure why so many people think we pwned Alaska, when we only got 6 out of 24 delegates. *rolls eyes

Any accurate but not good news info is voted down on here

Any wildly inaccurate but positive misinformation is voted up.
Get REAL people.
We won't win if you do not get REAL.

It's been going on for months and is one of the reasons we are not currently in a better position.

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

We got all the super

We got all the super delegates

"Believe half of what you see, and none of what you hear." - Benjamin Franklin

Nope

misinformation again.
We took over the party in Alaska.
The old guard get to vote in Tampa.

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

I have gone over this below

I have gone over this below with the shazad

"Believe half of what you see, and none of what you hear." - Benjamin Franklin

Not the superdelegates you haven't

The new Ron Paul people in Alaska do not get voting rights (until Feb I seem to recall).
The people who got kicked out still get to vote in Tampa.

The same thing with Maine. The corrupt ex chairman Charlie Webster? also still gets to vote in Tampa.

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

All Romney delegates have to be told

There is one thing we all have to agree upon: That at this time Ron Paul does not have enough delegates to become the nominee unless a certain number of Romney delegates vote for Ron Paul instead.
All delegates (Romney and Ron Paul delegates) need to be sent a letter and/or e-mail (preferably written by Ron Paul himself) telling them in detail why they should nominate and vote for Ron Paul instead - I assume that most, if not all Romney delegates think that they must vote for Romney since they are Romney delegates (they must be shown the relevant laws that allow them to vote for somebody else).
I know that are already some individuals who have initiated an "education campaign" for the Romney delegates and I wish them the best since the national campaign headquarters is not doing anything to convince Romnney delegates to vote for Ron Paul. If they need more funds then they need to re-post their message here on the Forum.

Baloneysandwich

You're right. I think we

You're right. I think we might just get to one of them, and after that they fall for Ron like dominoes.

"Believe half of what you see, and none of what you hear." - Benjamin Franklin

You are living in some fantasy land

unrelated to Earth.

How many Romney delegates have you spoken to?

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

You're solution is to give

You're solution is to give up? To not try?
Do you perhaps by any chance- happen to be related to a Mr. Benton?

"Believe half of what you see, and none of what you hear." - Benjamin Franklin

probably 200+ more reasonable

probably 200+ more reasonable delegates who would prefer to vote Dr. Paul given the choice.

400 true Romney abstentions needed on 1st ballot

All of Gingrich & Santorum not to vote Romney.
(Or a combo that reduces Romney's total by 400 or so.)

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."
