Man Kicked Off Flight Over Anti-TSA Shirt

A man and his wife were treated as potential terrorists and kicked off a Delta Airlines flight over a satirical T-shirt because it made passengers and employees feel “very uncomfortable”.

Writing on his blog, Arijit Guha describes how he was flying out of Buffalo-Niagara Airport after attending his wife’s grandfather’s funeral. Having passed through security without a problem, Guha was approached by a Delta agent who informed him that his attire was making passengers nervous.

The t-shirt features a TSA logo along with text that satirizes the agency’s paranoid and overbearing approach to airport security.

“I was then questioned by TSA about the significance and meaning of the shirt,” writes Guha. “I politely explained that it was “mocking the security theater charade and over-reactions to terrorism by the general public — both of which we’re seeing right now, ironically.”

Damn my shirt that I have on

Damn my shirt that I have on right now says end the TSA.

I'm so happy we have the TSA. I can now get permission from my trusting government to see if my clothing is permissible. I love asking for permission for my rights.

Whelp

Looks like I know what I am wearing next time I am going through the airport!

Imagine if thousands of people all start wearing such t-shirts for their flights -- I think air travel would ground to a halt.

Delta is a privately owned company...

...which exercised their right to deny the couple to board their plane. While I agree with the guy and his wife about the TSA they were obviously poking the bear by wearing that expression at an airport let alone trying to on a plane.

Optomisticly speaking, this is proof that a private company CAN and DOES take security precautions therefore doesn't need a federal agency via our tax dollars to do it for them.

Every day I read something else...

that makes me want to run for the hills. Laws? Charges? Jury of peers? Bill of rights? What are those things?

We all want progress, but if you're on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive.

It's the slave-on-slave control system

that many have pointed out. If the serfs did not identify with their masters and police the fellow serfs, the overlords could not keep control.
