A Champion of the Constitution speaking truth!
Just because other people don't understand the cost of freedom do you expect us to quit?
Duh....the advancement of the
Duh....the advancement of the philosophy and cause of Liberty throughout our country and the growth of our movement!!Well worth the price and resources. Worthless FRNs are deflating anyhow. An excellent investment of depreciating paper when you think about it.

Rand Paul 2016
Creature comforts for Dr & Mrs. Paul....that's what I hope
my $$ went to....in appreciation of their hitting the hard campaign trail for us....grueling no matter WHAT age you are.
I felt very satisfied donating
I don't think he would've gotten the 21 debate invitations without our money. Ask Thad McCotter or GJ.
Or perhaps not have drawn all of those thousands of people to the rallies.
The office is ambitious, but the American people aren't libertarians yet.

Unless it has to do with politics, religion, and 911.... Then it's heresy... Reason and logic will forever be enemies to faith based ideologies...
That is what I learned from this campaign and those who follow them in faith alone, without listening to their gut telling them that something was wrong this time, just like last time... and are instead either surprised or suppressing their unsatisfaction with rationalizations, and lashing out at those who are similarly affected, but do not silence that voice telling them that in spite of their efforts, the people responsible did not act responsibly, and did not even respect the members of the grassroots who were the heart of the Ron Paul movement.
We learned the harshest truth we may ever learned in our lifetimes, that even the most noble causes can be distorted and twisted and turned into a business. For that, I can credit the Ron Paul movement, for educating and waking me up... to reality... a second time.
75% campaign
But great ads at least. :-)
It looks like
Jane Hanoi Fonda is at it again!

Rand Paul 2016
hard to measure Paul's
hard to measure Paul's success in dollars
A lot of baggage
I was getting so many phone calls from neo-teaparty groups, the RNC, College Republicans and others begging for money that I changed my phone number.. Now, since apparently I am "one of America's most notable republicans" I'm getting 8-10 mailings each week from Romney. I regret ever donating for that reason alone.
From donating to RP's campaign?
You got spammed from donating to RP's campaign?
I would like to think the campaign wouldn't throw us under the spam train :/
Anyone else have a similar experience after donating to RP?
Tools of war are not always obvious. The worst weapon is an idea planted in the mind of man. Prejudices can kill, suspicion can destroy, and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has an everlasting fallout all of its own.
I can't explain it otherwise
My telephone number was unlisted and very few people had it. Like a choad I entered it on the donation page instead of a phoney. It wasn't long after my donation was posted to the FEC site that I started getting the calls.
I don't think it was given out by the campaign.. I'm betting the RNC mined it off the FEC website.
One of them even had a membership card with my name on it.. I feel so priviliged - NOT
Answer : the pride
Answer :
the pride of standing up for America and its Constitution when everybody else forget, abandon, or betray them.
P.S.
And most of everybody else won't even be grateful, but that will still be fine. True gift for all is care for one's own future. And love for oneself.
My name is pronounced like "see real". Its root is "Lord".

Ron is my hero, but he chose really crappy people to run his campaign.
What is this Liberty Chat thing?
I'm fighting for liberty and I sense it's not on my side.
Ron Paul's Convention Speech
Oh well
It appears we may be agreeing again.

maybe Ron Paul's figures are higher because
the mainstream media didn't cover him with the same alacrity as the other candidates.
How did you come up with your numbers by the way? A lot of the candidates are in the hole right now.
oh I didn't see WiseBurn's response below
we basically said the same thing. Sorry Wise.
I got a lot
I gave $201.20 over a few money bombs. I think it helped spread the movement and inspire people to run for office, be delegates, sit on committee's, have a legal defense, and be part of something big.
That cash went to my son's future. That lack of money (I'm dead broke; was $19,86 away from eviction this month) has inspired me to become part of the solution rather than complaining about problems. That complaining got me into contact with elected officials.
I don't regret it at all.
Sure, some folks got a stipend. But one mustn't dwell upon it. Only take action. The stipend is but a tiny fraction of the total given. I find no problem with it.
It's not about a single person. It's a movement. A good peace loving, non interventionist, sound money, liberty loving movement which is ours alone and nobody else's. You can't put a price on it.
I do think I might have been able to do more with the money than give to the campaign but when I did give the money I had no idea of what I could have done externally. Only now I do know what I can do to bring about change. And through the donations I've sent as a result I've received information that's invaluable.
Edit: actually thinking about it I would wager Ron Paul used less cash to educate more people than any other candidate. Especially young people. It's not price per vote. It's price per mind. Even if they don't vote. He turned a lot of kids on.
This may seem foreign to you...
But, I gave money, time, blood, and sweat. I didn't want anything from Ron Paul in return.
So, my vote didn't cost Ron Paul a dime. Factor that in will you?
Value of Free MSM Coverage
This simple calculation does not take into effect the value of the Free State Media Coverage to those other guys and the harm done to Paul's campaign by the blackout.
The Liberty movement registered 20K new Republican Voters in my county, and greatly grew the size of our local organizations. Ron Paul Supporters will make up about a third of our Counties GOP delegates. The Current leaders will have lost their seats by years end. The Establishment will be out of power after the organizational meeting this winter.
By 2015, Liberty Supporters should be in control of our state party as well.
If you really need to ask that question, you don't get it
and I doubt you ever will.

It was worth it while the campaigning lasted, however, I am very disappointed the campaign decided to stop "actively campaigning" at the peak of the enthusiasm. Ron Paul stopped campaigning when he was starting to attract close to 10,000 people at college campuses. If he kept it up a little longer, I can only imagine the crowds he could have drawn with an extra month under his belt. 20,000+?

I gave 2k and am very satisfied
Our voice has been heard. Our ideas are being recognized and we are getting our people nominated at all levels. It has always been about growing the party to make a difference. Eventually the establishment will be a by gone of the past (or so I can hope, wishful thinking). Anyway, no regrets at all. At least I tried to make a difference.
