Is Palin Making Her Move? Will She Be THE One to Topple the House of Cards?

I've been in Tampa since Sunday, & served on the Platform Cmte, which adjourned yesterday. Today, for hours, I worked on my article for Freedomoutpost about the platform. Then, I checked my email to see what was happening & my husband sent me this. We ARE going to have a brokered convention! I'll keep you posted, BUT, while we're in the Sundome & Whiskey Joes, with Ron, the cards will be collapsing while the delegates run from Romney. "They" will count on us not being organized, but we will!
Palin's in our mailbox 2x! Once w/a DVD -- that has info here:

...I haven't looked at this yet - but essentially says "a weak and distrusted Romney cannot win..." They're citing Rule 38 - and asking to nominate Palin on the first ballot.

Another letter from some God-fearing group in the mail as well, supporting Palin...
The GOOD part of this is, that there is an increased awareness of the possibility that Delegates can vote their conscience/be unbound.

As we approach the convention, traffic on the DP is going to climb. Let's put on our suits and tie, or armor of God, or your game face. This is not the time for insulting people that we could be horse trading with in a few days.

I may not agree with all of her positions, but she has been nice to Ron Paul. Least we could do is be cordial in return. She warned the GOP that they can't win without Ron Paul and his supporters. She's right!

Notice the date on that? May 2011?

She was in Israel to meet with the Prime Minister in March of that year. Why a change and is it really a change?

Just asking.

I noticed. I read it after it 1st came out. I'm not saying she is going to agree with Ron Paul on everything, but in this video, linked in another similar DP thread, she does criticize our foreign policy and military adventurism.

Was that Tina Fey??? LOL

Was that Tina Fey??? LOL

C'mon, don't down vote Wild Will, that was funny! It took me a good 6 seconds to figure it out though, lol.

Okay, I watched this video

Okay, I watched this video and have to say. Palin managed to shock me in a positive way. I'm impressed. She didn't provide the expected responses.

You are not answering the questions I asked.

I understood your point the first time. Here's a recap of mine:

If her foreign policy position has done a 180 degree turnaround, why did she go to Israel before deciding whether or not to run? Why not go to China or Greece or Iceland? Why Israel?

And, if she has for a fact done that 180, why didn't she just outright endorse Dr. Paul in the first place?

To my mind, it just doesn't add up right.

Palin WAS in China, India and South Korea too

I love you conspiracy theorists.

Sarah Palin traveled to China and gave a major speech on the world economy. It was well received. Even liberals had to take note.

Here's her remarks:

She was the keynote speaker at the India Today Conclave:

"Nina Rai: Sarah Palin’s Speech Keeps Delegates Spellbound At India Today Conclave"

As she was in the neighborhood, she stopped over in Israel. A trip most Christians would love to make. Nothing sinister or overtly political:

"Dancing In The Street As Governor Palin Arrives In Israel"

"Palin at Kotel tunnel: Israel too apologetic"

Israel IS our only ally in the Middle East, especially since Obama actually helped the Muslim Brotherhood take over much of the region.

The reason why Governor Palin didn't run for President this time is rather simple. Her family came first. This disappointed millions of her supporters, because she would have won the nomination, and the presidency easily, and been an amazing President. After all, she was an amazing Mayor, Energy Regulator, and Governor. But such is life. There's always 2016.

Hi Nonna

You bring up some valid points. I wish I could say I have the answers, (come to think of it, that's probably why I didn't answer your question better the 1st time, sorry bout that.

Since May 2011 she has drifted away from the neocons sphere of influence and gradually shifted towards our direction. I don't think it's a 180 degree turn, but even a slow 90 degree turn is half way there, (some aircraft carriers need 8 miles in diameter to turn around, lol).

As for why not endorse Ron from the get go, I wish she would have. It may have been political suicide to do so. I don't know.

Why She Didn't Endorse Ron Paul

Governor Palin has had nothing but nice things to say about Ron Paul's ideas about fiscal policy. It's his dangerous isolationist foreign policy that turned her, and most of America, off.

While she agrees, we can't be the world's policeman, we MUST be engaged around the world. Every time the United States has tried a Paul like policy, we've had a world war.

You are right about the neo-cons. In fact, one of the reasons some of her earliest and strongest big time supporters soured on her was they figured out she WASN'T one of them. Never was. Sarah Palin is a Reaganite. She believes in peace through strength, like Reagan did. The idea is to be such a formidable opponent, that no one in their right mind would ever challenge you. It's the best way not to have wars.

Here's something on her stance:

Carolyn Glick: U.S. Needs Sarah Palin’s Foreign Policy, Not Rick Perry’s

Thanks for this video

She does criticize our foreign policy.

if palin truly wants to win.

if palin truly wants to win. Then they would be planning a Paul/Palin 2012 ticket. If palin were the nominee? Then i would expect the same results obama wins. Paul/Palin i could vote for!

Ron Paul 2016

No comments regarding pages 8-13 of the link?

According to this organization, as per an RNC memo from 2008, all delegates ARE UNBOUND on the FIRST ballot.

The delegates are unbound.

Palin's crews even believes it.

Palin has NOTHING to do with this Brokered Convention Nonsense

Nope, Governor Palin has NOTHING to do with this lunacy. NOTHING at all.

This is being done by a handful of loons. People who hate Romney and can't face reality. I know most of them. Delusional freaks.

Palin wants nothing to do with them, and top Conservative sites like Conservatives4Palin have banned these loons from commenting, as have about a hundred or so Sarah Palin Facebook sites.

Palin will be in Arizona this week helping support CONSERVATIVES for Congress. She's concentrating 100% of her energy on taking back Congress.

She's just another sell out, just another inside job

Her husband is on a very pro-military reality show right now. They support the Rep/Dem foreign policy of killing for oil.

They are not real supporters of Ron Paul.

Sarah certainly is not going to make a counter-move against the GOP while her husband is involved with a Hollywood show with guns. Those that control the GOP also control Hollywood...Sarah moves against the GOP and a stray bullet finds Todd...oopsie.

Seen that show

I don't have TV (it's great), but I have seen it on at the gym. I think its called "Stars Earn Stripes". It's like some sort of terrible Soviet propaganda film shot in 1080p.

So you hate our brave men and women who serve?

The show is there to SUPPORT these brave heroes. None of the "celebrities" are being paid. Any "stripe" they earn, equals money for charity that supports the troops or law enforcement. Todd is playing for an Alaska support group. Others are playing for incredible groups like "Wounded Warrior Foundation"

BTW, Todd's son Track served in Iraq, on the front lines, and is now in Afghanistan serving on the front lines.

America wouldn't exist without those who sacrifice so much for all of us.

Just watch "Stripes" instead

That's a fact, Jack.

For the Repub. Establishment, any

empty-headed puppet will do.

Someone on here already said this

I don't know the name of the member but someone made the case that they were betting this would happen. Everyone blew the theory off, but I can see it. She did say in the primaries that Ron Paul is very popular with Alaskan voters. Maybe that was a hint?

That was me.

That was me. I'm betting on a Sarah Palin surprise, and I'd also bet that Ron Paul is going to be in on it. We'll find out Sunday.

I just sent a copy and paste of it

That is like saying "Hey, there are soldiers in the wooden horse." before it gets in the gates!

She is a member of Kissenger and Associates

She is nothing but a shill for the Establishment. Why is this stuff continuing to come up about this loser?

“I have sworn upon the alter of God, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man.” - Thomas Jefferson

Ron Paul 2012

Please McCain's people sent her there in 2008

for some globalist brainwashing, she blew them off.

Good to Know-thanks Joeinmo for being informed and informing us!

Repost: Bix Weir says,

As for Sarah's endorsement...it will be a game changer for any candidate and it is OBVIOUS to me that Ron Paul is her guy. She will add what Ron lacks as far as popularity and energy. She will fully adopt his message and be a PERFECT spokesman for him. She and her followers will be relentless advocates for Ron and his message.

When? I don't know. But I guarantee you the timing will be PERFECT!

May the Road you choose be the Right Road.

Bix Weir www.RoadtoRoota.com

This is crazy talk:

"She will fully adopt his message and be a PERFECT spokesman for him."
checkout her candidate picks(all mostly for more military spending) and please tell me why she has not openly adopted, supported, and endorsed RP yet? I'll give her a plus for support of Rand but I see this to be a co-opt move on the part of the military industrial complex to go after the growing liberty movement.

Please go to Sarahs pac website and checkout her picks

Jeff Blake for war blatantly so.
Martha Zoller advocates for a tough foreign policy.
Kirk Adams: found this http://www.dailypaul.com/224890/kirk-adams-for-congress....note the foreign policy comment.
Dan Bongino is vague but does hint at returning troops and otherwise increasing spending for new programs:"Uniformed services modernization through research and development on new programs"

So, we know where Sarah stands on foreign policy and we know how money is created for the military industrial complex. Now, please explain how she has changed her foreign policy views?
