Will Nullification Lead to Conflict?

"I suggest that everyone read again the Declaration of Independence from beginning to end and ask yourself, are not “our federal overlords” acting in the same way that Great Britain did? And if your answer is yes, then what do we do about it? To save the union we must make it clear to the federal government we are not going to sit passively by and let them assume more powers and reduce us to mere serfs. What I and many other propose is to send a clear and unequivocal message that we are Nullifying this unconstitutional action and that they will not enforce it in our state against our citizens."

I think in one of John

I think in one of John Calhoun's books he explained why Nullification is the only way to avoid a civil war because it leaves flexibility in the union. Without nullification the only options are violent revolution or silent oppression....

"You must be frank with the world; frankness is the child of honesty and courage...Never do anything wrong to make a friend or keep one...Above all do not appear to others what you are not" - Robert E. Lee, CSA

Nullification is the only mode

in which usurpations of the Federal Government may be resisted by the States in accordance with the principals of the resolutions of 1798. The remedy must be such as to "arrest the progress of evil" without fracturing the Union.

While I did enjoy the read,

While I did enjoy the read, there are several problems: (1) The States are more like Vassals or Provinces then they are Sovereign States. (2) The Constitution has been Null and Void since the first breach of contract which 'The People' did nothing about. (3) The hapless masses prefer the idea of the New system -absent the Constitution (Federal and State)- then they desire the Constitutional system.

Just two of the known aspects of the Federal government running the States:
(1) The Secret Service which is forced upon each governor is provided by the Federal Government -they(The SS) are a Federal Police Force.
(2) The Secretary of State in each of the States -which has one- is an employee of the Federal State Department.

Contract Law basically states that when a contract is violated -by any infraction- the contract is broken, and would -after restitution- need to be renewed if desired by the parties involved.

The US Constitution as well as the individual State Constitutions have been violated for over one-hundred years without any restitutions or renewals. It would be safe to say that NONE of the Constitutions, which people think help protect them, are valid; therefore the Governments are operating without any laws, but the people are suffering due to the shear number of laws which they are overburdened with.

I am in 100%

absolute agreement with you. That is why I believe that non compliance is the only means available to get our power back. Just read the Declaration of Independence, update the abuses section, and there you have it.

We have listed our grievances, they refuse to acknowledge them... The stalemate enables them and suffocates us, and drains our will and resources. At some point one must go on the offense and put them on defense.

They want violence, they know how to indiscriminately kill. But they don't know how to force masses of people to follow their orders, if they are no longer feared or have people invested in their false outcomes...

The corrupt system must die, so that the Republic can be reborn...

Axe

John the Baptist warned the Jewish nation in these words.

The axe is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. (Luke 3:9).

Jesus came proclaiming the Kingdom of God. Before that could happen, John the Baptist had to clear the junk out of the way.

The context now is different, but the image is powerful. Modern political society is a tree with very strong roots. The problem is that most of these roots are contrary to God’s Word. These roots will have to be chopped out before the good tree of the Kingdom can grow.
