HOPEWELL, VA (WWBT) -
A Chesterfield Marine will be released from a mental health facility after a judge ruled there wasn't sufficient evidence of allegations made against him.

Brandon Raub was committed to a mental health facility for 30 days after a series of events, including questions about his Facebook page. Now, the Rutherford Institute has taken up his cause.

In court Thursday, the judge said that the petition filed by Chesterfield Police was blank and didn't list a single allegation against him. The judge said Raub suffered a "deprivation of his liberty" by being held without a clear claim.

Thank you judge...

Thanks Judge... 5 days to

Thanks Judge... 5 days to later then needed but thanks.

Oh how I wonder, oh how I worry
And I would dearly like to know
How all this squander of earthly plunder
will leave us anything to show

Wonderful News

So happy to hear this! And I hope this story goes viral. Let every young man and woman see how they are treating our vets and maybe there will be a problem with recruitment.

To all you Marines who fought in far off places thank you for your service. And whatever you do to stop this from happening to another one of your brothers lets us all know so that we can support you.

How about a list of the names of the people involved...and can we charge them with anything?

Personally, I hope Brendan joins us so that we can help make sure this never happens again!
