MANCHESTER, NH (CBS) – A man running for sheriff in New Hampshire says if he is elected, he will arrest anyone involved in an abortion in his county.
Frank Szabo set off a firestorm with the comments. People on all sides of the political spectrum have condemned the statements, but Szabo stands by them. He says it’s the sheriff’s job to protect every citizen – even the unborn.

I would have voted for this guy...
but then he comes out and apologizes for his statement. and shock, shock--republicans (ya know, the "pro-lifers") decried his statement
they say they are pro-life, but if anything ever gets done to actually stop abortion, they're against it. i've said for a long time that the only way to stop abortion is at a very local level (like sheriff's dept), going after the abortionist and not the parents! then, no woman is not allowed her "choice", but she and only she participates. then she can decide whether putting her life on the line is worth the murder of her child. 10 out of 10 would rethink the hideous choice.

He's right. Abortion is use of force against other person without an arrest warrant and not in self defense, so it is inherently un-libertarian.
IMO it is also used to keep
IMO it is also used to keep conservative voters tied to the Republican Party in hopes that it will be ended which IMO is why it has not been ended.
