Push Pull Free-Trade & the Immigration Debate. Where are the Liberals?

Early this morning I flipped over to Free Speech TV channel 9415 on dish. I caught the last of their show Push Pull, Free-Trade and the Immigration Debate. At first an American was speaking about the problems of the free trade agreements.
The next speaker was Juan Manuel Sandoval who spoke of the problems the NAFTA treaty has created for the Mexican people. He spoke of the 2 million rural farmers who have had to leave their corn fields because of the importation of cheaper corn from the US, and their plight after. He spoke about the SPP and the NAU, and how the governments are militarizing the boarder areas of Mexico under pretext of terrorism, drug traffic and illegal migration. Please continue reading He states that the Southern State of Chiapas is one of the most bio-diverse areas of the world, and that it is there for the drug companies. The northern border will have the power plants to provide electricity to the US.
He referenced a site set up offering an alternative solution, see: http://www.art-us.org/Alternatives_for_the_Americas
If you click on the NAFTA-SPP link, you can read about this agreement. I doubt most of us know what it states, in fact I doubt most of our congressmen know what is in it. It starts out; "NAFTA, signed in 1993, was a major hoodwink pulled off by the Clinton administration on behalf of transnational corporations, which would never have been swallowed if it had been tried by a Republican Administration."
One sentence that threw me states; "NAFTA introduced concepts which have proven to have super-constitutional implications, such as the Chapter 11 provisions. Corporations may sue governments who pass restrictions which they view as impacting profits or potential profits."
Where are the Liberals? Where are those human rights advocates, where is the so-called liberal press? Free Speech TV is liberal, but it is free, and viewed by too few. I have set my DVR to record this tomorrow morning at 2AM, perhaps you may want to check your local listings and do the same. I just found a link to a Google group promoting this tour: http://groups.google.com/group/AU_Movement/browse_thread/thr...
I sometimes wish I would have remained ignorant.
