I don't get it...

This nomination from the floor just doesn't make sense to me. I thought a nomination from the floor was meant for a second, third, et al. round of voting if the "presumed" candidate couldn't garner enough votes in the first round with whomevers names were on the ballot.

Meaning, the nomination does not come from the floor, but rather the ballot process. After which, if there is no clear winner then it becomes a grand negotiation. AND some other names can even be thrown in the circle.

It's interesting to me to think about Paul's reluctance. In all respects it seems very Washintonian. George Washington also did not want to be president. Often, the most reluctant is the most qualified. And Paul for a long time now seems to be very reluctant.

Does he plan on leading the revolution after the downfall? So doesn't want to be attached to this failing machine? Only Ron knows.

I have no proof no evidence

but my gut feeling is he has had his family threatened.

Bottom Line

Ron Paul doesn't want the job.
