Are Party Platform Gains Proof Jesse Benton’s Strategy is Working?

Is Jesse Benton’s Campaign Strategy paying off?

It was reported earlier this week that the GOP will include in the convention platform support for an Audit of the Federal Reserve. This has been one of Ron Paul’s pet projects for years. Then just yesterday, it was reported that the “GOP plans to also create a commission to look at restoring the link between the dollar and gold”. Returning to the Gold Standard has been another policy Ron Paul has pushed for many years.

While Marsha Blackburn, a Republican congresswoman from Tennessee and co-chair of the platform committee, claims they’re not just doing this just because of Ron Paul, the reality is, they are. The Republican party forgot what the Gold Standard was, till Ron Paul entered the Republican debates. Without a doubt the GOP is feeling the pressure to adopt some of Paul’s policies, given the fact that hundreds of his delegates will be inside the convention.

So do the recent gains in the party platform, validate Jesse Benton’s campaign strategy?

there is a tribute to ron paul! Jesse Benton is a genius! Just think if Ron Paul would have continued on campaigning and drawing crowds of 5,000+... i'm sure we would have gotten a lot less! Good thing they decided to do nothing instead.

In 2008 the 'Pubs passed a

In 2008 the 'Pubs passed a platform with strong anti-bailout language. Then the co-chair of the platform committee, Senator Richard Burr (R-Monsanto) voted for TARP.

NO, this is all bullsh*t!!

They're going to sorta end the fed, and sorta seat some delegates, and sorta show a video of Ron Paul.

Hey, guess what, they sorta made Obama win, AGAIN!

It's a classic two-pronged pincer attack from the oligarchy, that sorta made us all slaves and sorta put 30% of America at the poverty level.

All while sorta making them all filthy rich.

Sorry oliGOP, the rEVOLUtion 'sorta' already started!

Fight the Ron Paul blackout on the Daily Paul (now 'P AU L'), put his removed poster back as your avatar:

Wasn't the balanced budget

Wasn't the balanced budget amendment in the platform for years? Maybe it's even still there? Lot's of good that did.

The platform is meaningless - nothing more than a talking point for the GOP candidate or his opposition to point to in the never ending D establishment candidate vs R establishment candidate faux election selection then give us every 2 or 4 years.

The ONLY thing that counts is how the politician actually votes. Not what he says, and especially not what his party says he should say.

I must be willing to give up what I am in order to become what I will be. Albert Einstein

SHREIKS OF desperation!

This massive psyop cyber attack is visual evidence that the ROMNEY/GOP campaign is in ABSOLUTE PANIC!

Why would ROMNEY/GOP be putting forth this massive attack on Ron, vicariously through Jesse, if they aren't scared sh*tless?

Shroud of dis-info permeates

I believe everything coming out of the mouths of the PRESSTITUTES is pure conjecture, wrapped in speculation, and seasoned with total BS.

And everyone who slams Jesse Benton is the REAL TRAITOR.

Slamming Jesse is really just a psyop way of SLAMMING RON.

I say to all of you Benton bashers GO EFF YOURSELVES!

Jesse is a douchebag and blew

Jesse is a douchebag and blew it for all of us!

The Strategy Worked

He banked some huge paychecks and made lots of political connections to ensure steady employment in the future.

This means it was a failure.

This wasn't a campaign to change the platform. This was a campaign to win the White House.

Jesse put up a strategy for something that has NOTHING to do with winning the White House.

Thus Jesse is an abject FAILURE.

He got his ass handed to him.

He couldn't manage one single outright win, and where the campaign did see success, he not only couldn't hold on to it, capitalize on it, or defend it, but he outright compromised it away - WHY?

Because Jesse thought this was a campaign to change the platform. He wasn't running a campaign to win the White House.

Platforms are pointless.

The RNC doesn't even follow it's own rules.

What the hell makes Jesse think they give a damn about their platform?

They don't even follow the platform they have NOW.

There's just more proof that Jesse Benton is a

d o u c h e b a g.

The platform is completely

The platform is completely worthless. It was sold by folks like Benton as something that is worthful, so folks would still give money to the campaign and he could be paid.

Even if Mittens is elected, there will never be a real Audit the Fed, because they need it to pay for the empire and bankroll their fat cat supporters. When the collapse does happen, I believe a bait and switch will be done. The Fed will go away in name but be replaced by an institution that is even worse.

The only true chance for change was a Ron Paul presidency. Since the RNC seems like they are illegally squashing any chance of that with their actions against the legitimate Maine delegation, it's time to say screw off to the GOP and start a new way that is separate from either the Dumbocrats or Repubics.

Congratulations Jesse and Ron!!!

Words have no meaning

to crooks. To them, the platform is like the Constitution: toilet paper.

Even if there is an "audit the Fed" bill passed, it will most likely be a watered down version to fool people who care without threatening the status quo. Remember the Watt amendment to Ron's bill that would have given the Fed even MORE secrecy? These people are unscrupulous, shameless and ruthless.

What gains?

The GOP just now changed the rules that stop a campaign like Ron Pauls from ever happening again. All delegates will now go to the popular vote.

Do you actually think they are going to honor any of that and implement it exactly as Ron Paul would have so it would be effective?

November 6th 2012 I voted for Dr.Ron Paul
"We must remember, elections are short-term efforts. Revolutions are long-term projects." ~ Ron Paul

And if

Liberty candidates win the popular vote in the future they will just change the rules again.

The platform is a moot point

Romney will not be elected so any thought of the platform being relevant is pure wishful conjecture.

There are no politicians or bankers in foxholes.
