UPDATE>Does Anyone Know How Many States Have Sent In Their Notarized Document Formally Nominating Ron Paul?

>>>>>>UPDATE<<<<

IF ANYONE NEEDS A FORM TO NOMINATE RON PAUL AT THE GOP, SEND ME A PM AND I WILL EMAIL IT TO YOU IMMEDIATELY!

--------------------------------NORMAL POST BELOW------------

It was reported that Nevada did this many weeks ago. (see this post....

Now how many other states have done this? How many more do we still need? (rumor now says we need 8 states to nominate Ron Paul)

I know we have(or had): Nevada,Iowa,Maine(or do we?), Massachusetts(again?), Colorado, Oklahoma, Louisiana, South Carolina, Minnesota, and Oregon?. http://tinyurl.com/8ppxhty

Are there any others? (or are there any other states, where we may have Ron Paul sympathizers that are officially Romney delegates? (IF YOU KNOW OF ANY PLEASE POST ASAP!!)

All we need is to have half +1 of them sign the nominating document and have each of their signatures be notarized on that document.
HERE IS A SIMPLE POST EXPLAINING HOW TO NOTARIZE THIS.
http://www.dailypaul.com/249852/how-to-notarize-ron-paul-nom...

If you need a notary now , please send me a message via private contact

This document must then be turned in to the RNC in a timely manner. According to the new rules adopted just days ago, it is within 1 hour before the nominating begins "delegates must indicate in writing at least one hour before the vote who they intend to nominate." according to the Huffington Post.

Remember, they do not need to be Ron Paul delegates per se, they just need to be willing to have Dr Paul's name put into nomination. that's it!

Bump!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ATTENTION ALL DELEGATES!! YOU CAN NOW GET A FORM!

I just added it to the main thread....

Just send a pm to me, and I will email to you immediately !!

thanks!!

Alternates

If the Convention is called to order, then can the states seat the alternates for this purpose? We have many Ron Paul alternates. If so, then maybe they can be seated for long enough to sign.

If the Romney delegates show up a day late due to the storm postponement...

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

CAN THE ALTERNATES NOMINATE HIM?

the thing is they cant do it inside the convention center , unless (perhaps ) they bring a copy of their ID. (the form is supposed to be notarized.

HOWEVER..... IF they got the form notarized and filled out BEFORE THEY SHOWED UP... THAT WOULD WORK!!

Even one delegate in a state nominating Paul is good.

Don't worry if a state had enough delegates or not. All Ron Paul delegates of any state who wish to nominate Ron Paul, should turn in, a written signed statement, one hour + before roll call, with the name of the state.
I/We, a delegate(s) of the great state of_______ of the USA, nominate Ron Paul for President of the USA, and nominee of the GOP 2012. Please place him on the RNC ballot. Thanks. Then sign it with your printed name next to it in case they cannot read your handwriting. Then place your cell phone number next to it so they can contact you. Make a couple photo copies by cellphone or other means before you turn it in.

Plus how will they know who all the delegates will vote for ahead of time? Are they mind readers? NO. Also, Romney should be nominated in the same way. Romney needs to be nominated before roll call. Maine and Mass. Ron Paul delegates even if not seated should also turn in nominations cause they are the rightful delegates to the delegate throne. It does not matter if they were seated or not. Do you think a rightful delegate to a king's throne would just give up? No. So fight on. Ron Paul 2012

GREAT POST!! THANKS !

While I don't know if they (the RNC ) would take those single delegate pages seriously.. IT DOES NOT HURT TO DO IT ANYWAYS!! (YOU NEVER KNOW)

Bump!

!

Nobody mentions Colorado

Nobody mentions Colorado anymore for some odd reason.

Oregon too. I'm sure they won their contest.

I did mention both of them in the main thread....

However , I am not 100% sure whether they count...as I dont know if they had 50% +1 in their delegation who supported Dr Paul enough to get his name placed into nomination.

If you know of any state, that either did/does, or of any state that may be have RP sympathizers ..POST ASAP!!

Wait a minute...

...is it majority or plurality? Most people seem to think it's plurality.

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

plurality

meaning that they may all be bound to romney or whomever, but they can still sign the nomination document.(just that 50% + 1 of the delegates from that state must sign it.)

The current list of Ron Paul states are as follows:

Alabama
Alaska
Arizona
Arkansas
California
Colorado
Connecticut
Delaware
Florida
Georgia
Hawaii
Idaho
Illinois
Indiana
Iowa
Kansas
Kentucky
Louisiana
Maine
Maryland
Massachusetts
Michigan
Minnesota
Mississippi
Missouri
Montana
Nebraska
Nevada
New Hampshire
New Jersey
New Mexico
New York
North Carolina
North Dakota
Ohio
Oklahoma
Oregon
Pennsylvania
Rhode Island
South Carolina
South Dakota
Tennessee
Texas
Utah
Vermont
Virginia
Washington
West Virginia
Wisconsin
Wyoming

NJ? Huh?

I don't know what you are basing your list on, nor do I know about other States, but I do know the delegation from NJ is certifiably neocon all the way. Our slate did not beat them. No one from that delegation would bother entertaining the thought.

All they have to do is have one delegate file the form at least

one hour prior to the start. (that is my understanding) That is one delegate from each state.

Do You Just Make Things Up

Whole new ones that even the web site www.thereal2012delegatecount.com didn't ever put into Ron Paul's corner - Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Alabama, California, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky - there is zero basis in fact for anyone to claim that these nine states ever leaned towards or even showed significant support for Ron Paul - just absolutely not true. There are reasons to argue about many of the others and I can understand the disappointment and anger because I think that Maine at least was a RP state no question which would have made the 5 states possible if for example Colorado had broken the right way - the RP campaign claims to have 3 states - I assume the three are Nevada, Iowa and Minnesota. I see no evidence that others are possible except Colorado and even that is not certain - it depends upon Rick Santorum delegates and Rick Santorum has sworn to go to Tampa to try to confront and neutralize the influence of Ron Paul.

Ah, crap

I forgot about Poland. Poland is also for Ron Paul : http://i.imgur.com/xFdvP.jpg

While this is most likely true.....

What im looking for is the states who have already turned in their official nomination papers to the RNC.

So far... I have seen a post that claimed Nevada had, and I assume Iowa has and Minnesota have.

As far as Louisiana, Massachusetts, and Maine, perhaps not. (as their delegation was cut down by the Romney controlled RNC.)

IF YOU KNOW OF ANY STATE THAT HAS DONE THIS ALREADY , PLEASE PM ME.!!

In all seriousness

The 3 delegations we know of, we can count on them to know what to do.

If they have 8 delegations, or 5 if they can defeat the adoption of the new rules, they are going to be keeping it under wraps to help prevent delegates' credentials from being 'accidentally misplaced'.

bump for vital information

.

They think you're joking, of course.

Sad to say you didn't just make that up. Even the Paulites don't see how deep the media lies run.

HONEST RON 2012!
LEGALIZE LIBERTY!

thats soooo true!!

Ive spoken to more RP supporters from states that "seem" to be mainly for mitt romney... it is almost surreal.

South Carolina?

We do not have South Carolina. That went to Gingrich. We lost Maine, Massachusetts and Louisiana. Oklahoma and Oregon have not been confirmed. And Colorado is made up of alternates. They could go to either Romney or Paul.

AHEM!!!

You meant to say "Maine, Massachusetts, and Louisiana" were stolen from us.

FTFY

Yes, that's right.

They were. So what I said about "lost those states" is still accurate.

In the sense of outcome, but in the contest,

we won them fair and square, and since a lot of Neocons protest that Ron Paul did not "win a state", that's why I protest that he did not LOSE those states, he won Maine and Louisiana*, and yet it was stolen from him.

* Massachusetts' delegates should have been seated, too; however, in my mind, Maine & Louisiana were more clear-cut victories. They just out-and-out stole those states. Considering the GOP's uphill road in Maine, the RNC's alienation of her citizenry can only be explained by pride, arrogance, and short-sighted perspective.

ok thanks for that update....

I had heard that we had obtained a few delegates from south Carolina , as of a few days ago... maybe not.

As for the alternates , can they sign the nominating papers? or must it be the main delegates?

All of them. They should indicate if Delegates or Alternates.

List Delegates first. (Cause what if a Delegate does not show up. Do not give the RNC any outs.

Not That I Know Of

If they can great. But where did you hear that we picked up some delegates from South Carolina?

my mistake it was North Carolina

and I saw it posted here...

While that is not Absolutely verified... it seems that it is true.
