Hurricane Crist Blows Romney Away in Florida: Former Republican Governor Backs Obama

Former Florida Governor, Republican Charlie Crist, has made a stinging attack on Romney and the GOP, and a ringing endorsement of Obama.

Read it at Tampa Bay.com

There is no path to a win for Mitt now. Just losing Florida is enough to seal his loss. Neocon apologists are already up in arms about it. They KNOW it is the DEATH KNELL for Romney.

Reminds me that 'Republican' is a MEANINGLESS term

GOP = Central Planning

DNC = Central Planning

Central Planning = Central Authority = Central Ownership

Central Ownership = Serfdom

Serfdom = Slavery

Central Planning is at odds with the Constitution, especially the 13th Amendment.

The Two Party System is Slavery and UNCONSTITUTIONAL!

I guess he will be speaking at the Democratic convention.

And not the republican.

This gives me an idea! If

This gives me an idea! If interviewed as a delegate, instead of saying you are a Ron Paul supporter and that the delegates in Maine, OK, OR, etc., were treated immorally by the Romney team, maybe it would be better to just smile and say you're a happy Romney supporter that can't wait for him to get into office and end medicare, or bomb Iran, or end Social Security!

Good Analogy

Crist goes wherever the political winds blow him. He's no hurricane though. Not even a tropical storm. Just a tepid draft the nose reveals comes from the direction of the local landfill.

Mittens only needs a gentle breeze

to waft some more water across his deck.
His boat is so full of holes it's pretty much sunk already.

But hurricane is so much more dramatic and eye catching than "gentle breeze".

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

Maybe Crist forgot which party he's in, they're so similar.

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

Romney Dangerfield: "I get (and give) no respect".

"I tell you, I get no respect. I finally make it to be the presumptive nominee after a whole primary season of 'Isn't there somebody better?', where even my dog turned on me, just because I strapped him to the top of my car - and a hurricane comes and cancels a day of my nominating convention, and the Governor of Florida says his state is doing fine under Obama, and the ex-Governor endorses Obama".

"I tell you, I get no respect. Maybe its the universe's way of telling me to bow out and have Ron Paul be the nominee?"

Correct me if wrong

But was not this Crist clown considered a rising star in the GOP by hacks like McCain? I seem to remember McCain gushing with glee when talking about how bipartisan Crist was.

Of course, most of the GOP is exactly like this clown once they get in office.

Bipartisan almost always = Unconstitutional

When the Democrats and Republicans agree on something, hold onto your wallets and pull out your Pocket Constitution because both are about to be diminished.

Not where Ron Paul is concerned

Some things transcend party affiliation. There are both Republicans and Democrats who wish to END THE WARS, AUDIT THE FED, and RESTORE OUR LIBERTIES as per the Constitution.

When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the Universe.

Sounds like Crissy

got butthurt that he didn't Ron the GOP Senate nomination, so, he's gonna go pout.

Wow - he likes Obama's philosophy

What an idiot. He is still pissed that the Republicans voted him out. Crist would be enemy number one on Ron Paul's list, the worst kind of Progressive Republican.

Crist is calling milquetoast Robomney "extreme right"?

"Extreme right?" In the eyes of the Daily Kos, maybe.

Ron Paul is actually conservative, unlike Comrade Mittens. Remind yourself of the Nolan Chart. Mittens is center authoritarian while Obama is left authoritarian. Paleoconservatives are the mathematical anti-Obama, anti-statist and anti-left, which would make blood come to a boil in neocon RINOs like Crist.

I think Crist's "endorsement" of Obama is a transparent (to those with triple-digit IQs) attempt at reverse psychology to help reassure the Republican rank and file that the Romney/Ryan ticket is good enough, that they don't need to dump Romney and find an actual conservative.

Please do not spread this laughable accusation of Romney being "extreme right" to Republican blogs--it will cement his position as an Obama alternative when in reality he is an Obama clone.

Take back the GOP and Restore America Now.

It is amazing

The GOP has never once shrunk government nor even given a victory to their social conservative base on the token issues (however important they might be, they are really just token differences that do not make a difference in the structure of government) that they differ on from the democrats.

I have a political science class and have to hear that bs all the time. You would think that the government was operating on 25 cents under the republicans and 50 cents under the democrats.

"Comrade Mittens".....not!

More like herr Fuhrer Mittens.

Romney's not running his own campaign or the Republican Party

He's a tool of his shadowy puppet masters just like Obama. Presumptive-Puppet-in-Chief Mittens?

Take back the GOP and Restore America Now.

hmmm . . .

who knows?

it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--

Like it matters.

Most Floridians know...

That Crist is a RINO... That's why we gave him the boot!

When Fascism goes to sleep, it checks under the bed for Ron Paul!

What they have them believing

FOX news conservatives believe there's no way Obama can win. This isn't a close election, Obama won't have his youth vote or the black vote, plus all the economic stats are pretty abysmal. FOX is running this kinda $hit around the clock. Even the doctor said Obama is defeating himself, and that it's likely anyone possible nominee could beat Obama, it's just a matter of what they're bringing to the table.

As big of a deal as this is, run of the mill GOP voters will have their thoughts guided by their trusted friends at FOX to brush this off as Crist is just a RHINO, and Romney's gonna kick ass no matter what. To them this isn't good enought reason to put the doctor in.

I think a stronger case for dumping Romney would be that the RNC and Romney camp have left a trail of destruction behind them through all the states where they screwed over Paul's people. Maine for example will not go to Romney, they're just too damn pissed off at the man to vote for him. The problem with the info war though is that the conservative base still doesn't see that Paul has the numbers to be s real threat. They don't see it as a political wave they must ride with instead of fight against. To them, Paul is just another Santorum or Gingrich, who may have experienced some mild RNC discrimination, but at the end of the day just didn't have the numbers.

That is why I included

Karl Rove's own electoral college map in my link at the bottom.
To show that the polls say that Romney is losing.
Losing by so much that he cannot win.

I deliberately used RCP rather than Huffy Post or elsewhere, so that I could not be accused of LW bias.
RCP is a rw site.

I have tried to counter what you say above, i.e.Fox lies, because what you say is true.
Fox is most definitely lying and in a big way.

Most of the delegates will be more aware of polls, than the even more idiot GOP people sitting at home, sucking up Fox lies.

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

Karl Rove is not called The Prince of Darkness for nothing.
He was a major player behind the scenes of the Bush/Cheney administration...and we all know what happened on their watch.

But of course

they can hardly accuse Karl Rove of lying to them.
I got his electoral map directly off his website.
Minus the spiel & propaganda of course :)

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

If only we had a viable

If only we had a viable alternative to Romney, another active GOP candidate if you will.

Ron Paul! =D

Ron Paul! =D

Stop with the "clever" comments

they are not clever at all.

Just a small swing against Romney in Florida means that Romney CANNOT win.

GOP sites need to know about it.

Do you want Ron Paul nominated or not?

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

Christ knows Obama=Romney so

Christ knows Obama=Romney so he chose the actual president instead of taking the chance.

They make an endorsement from

They make an endorsement from an establishment politician sound as if it means something.... About the only endorsement that would truly mean anything would be from Ron Paul... Who else has any real supporters? Did I miss the Daily Christ site?

Well considering the state of

Well considering the state of fl has suffered the worst increase in TAXES and insurance in history I'm glad he's moving on to addressing a parralel scumbag like romney.
