Paul says his backers will 'become the GOP tent'

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Congressman Ron Paul is lashing out at Republican efforts to marginalize his supporters at the upcoming party convention, telling a counter rally to stand firm because, in his words, ‘‘we will become the tent eventually.’’

The plucky GOP presidential candidate hasn’t backed presumptive nominee Mitt Romney yet. He appeared Sunday evening at a rally on the edge of Tampa.

Republicans officials have reduced the ranks of Paul delegates.

The liberty movement must continue the fight until it becomes the big tent and shows the tea party people what it means to not compromise on your principles.

we can never become the tent without a fair and balanced constitutionally based media, all we can do is try and they will shift, bend, and in the end start a new tent by claiming the old tent has been overrun by white supremists and "terrorists".

But even before then they have no worries of anybody taking over their party's tents because they are in the end stages of implementing a new authortorian/facist tent which encapsulates the world.

Fact of the matter is, it was Ron Paul now or never which has shifted to Gary Johnson now or never, and if and when that fails it will be the end of this movements future.

Anyhthing else is delusional.

I guess you didn't catch the part where RP said we will be the tent. That means we have to stay in and do what Nevada did.

I'm not sure why the GJ people come on here and continue to blast us with their propaganda. We don't go on Reason and blast them to support RP.

Kentucky Rand Paul versus Ron Paul Primary Electoral Vote

In the Commonwealth of Kentucky US Senator Rand Paul received over 206,000 in 2010, but Ron Paul only obtained over 22,000k. Any ideas of the Ron Paul liberty community how we get those 22,000 people active within the Republican Party of Kentucky leadership?

He was once "kooky," now he's "plucky."

They once showed pictures of him grimacing, they now show pictures of him smiling with satisfaction.

It used to be rare for the MSM to mention his name, now they publish articles about his 10k+ rally the moment it ends.

We. are. winning.

They can be nice now. They go with the prevailing winds. Maybe there's a little guilt, because they know they "did a number" on him. What's amazing is that RP is still a cool and whole person. He knows how to deal with wolves and come out alright. Ron Paul Tzu!
