RNC to Adopt Minority Report, reversing the crap passed at the Rules Committee

Read more at the:
Ron Paul Forums

I don't think this can be 100% verified, as of yet but what it means is:

a) 5 state plurality instead of 8 states
b) Delegation not bound to primary votes/straw polls

This is exciting if true, and it means even the mainstream Old Guard Republicans are telling Sununu and Ginsberg that they're pieces of excrement.

We also may be able to thank FreedomWorks in part for this:

Delegates Are Not Sheep

This mistake is often made: the officials feel they have majority support of the delegates, and assume that this means they can do what they want and be supported, when in fact:

Delegates from each state may be more loyal to the delegates from their state, regardless of which candidates they support;

Delegates may be more loyal to the delegates from other states than to the party officers;

Delegates may have a bad reaction to having the rules changed without their input (duh).

That's the whole problem: an attack on the rights of any person is an attack on the rights of every person.

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

Freedomworks is not backing it

It seems as though it may pass so they hopped on the bandwagon to feign support. It was actually members of their board that came up with the changes in the rules to begin with.

Hope it true. I wonder if Sarah Palin has had a hand in this?

Seems like she was disgusted by the corruption and dirty tactics of the establishment.

Like I have been saying......

Committee's cant make rules, only the governing body can make rules.
Search my posts over the past few days if you need proof.

Call for a vote at the convention on these proposed changes, tell people this is communist anti-constitutional crap, then vote to erase it from the pages of history.

Heh, sorry, I saw the first

Heh, sorry, I saw the first part of the title and thought you were saying something about the RNC adopting 'Pre-crime' into their platform.

Still, very interesting news... The Rules committee issue was troublesome to me when I saw it a few days ago. Hopefully this is good news, but it may yet to be truly verified. It's getting late here, so I don't really feel like following the 'rabbit hole' of cross-referencing and finding out myself, maybe I'll come back tomorrow and read on it(course delegates will probably need to know this BEFORE then)

looking good, but where did

you get the "8-state plurality" from?

egapele's picture

Are you as confused as I am?

To me, that's not good news. ?

It's 5 instead of 8. Not 8

It's 5 instead of 8. Not 8 instead of 5(I'd heard the 'last second change' to some of the rules was the few days ago, this is supposed to be a 'reversing' of those changes, if it's true.)

very interesting development

The tea party actually has a lot of Ron Paul supporters. Has the establishment angered them?

So basically....

the RNC's gang of crooks is so disgusting, it took another pack of neocons (FreedomWorks) to shame them into not cheating after all. Now, I still don't trust those crooks to acknowledge and accept a Ron Paul nomination from the floor if it happens, but at least it looks like SOME modicum of sanity and decency will prevail.

I don't play, I commission the league.

Rumor is Texas voting as a block to accept minority reportt

Interesting that!
