Wow! New York Times article on Tampa Rally

*Really* decent article. I'm kind of shocked - they have ignored
or trivialized Dr. Paul as much as anyone else in the MSM throughout
the campaign - and pro-Paul commentary (mine, anyway) generally
gets "moderated" into a black hole, never to see the light of day.

Never say "never", I guess:

I wish the majority will wake up !

Not when everything is too late !

Go Ron Paul 2012 !

Reminded of a quote

This is, as mentioned elsewhere, a simple manipulation by the nytimes.

Here is more about the "news = lies". http://goo.gl/ByccZ

As for Ron Paul, I am reminded of a quote.
"... If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you could possibly imagine."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8RCQDDsMpU

I will not compromise and I will not give up. If the GOP does not support liberty then they best get out of the way.

Don't believe it is sincere. This is how they operate - they

do everything they can to defeat you, throw a few things in along the way and at the end to be able to say they were fair. Unfortunatly many people fall for it and think they are changing and starting to see things differently. Don't believe it! This is how they stay in power and keep control.

Exactly

I clicked on this post to write exactly the same thing.

Now they are falling over themselves to all be friends with Ron Paul. What scumbags. Look at Ryan, Romney all of them. First they take Ron Paul out in every way possible through their propaganda media and their Nazi RNC etc. Then when they have won through fraud and misconception they pretend to think the same as Ron Paul just to get in power to do the opposite. They have done this for 100 years and it is about time to understand their blueprint which they use all the time in all areas.

When enough people see this their game will be up.

Right, they need to move the conversation away from the

unethical behavior by those in power supporting a Romney candidate, and away from Ron Paul ASAP. Because the real story is the Liberty movement, and not some puppet candidate (Romney). It would be really damaging to them if Ron Paul continued to get attention.

The GOP's power is confined to selecting and supporting candidates for office, the Liberty movement supporting Ron Paul is much bigger.

Dems now have a tactic of supporting Ron Paul a bit

in order to better sow discord amongst Republican ranks.
They don't really mean it.

But you would need to read Dem sites to know that.

Don't get too carried away.
If the Dems perceive the Ron Paul movement to be a threat again they will go back to writing disparaging articles.

"In the end, more than they wanted freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all -- security, comfort, and freedom. When ... the freedom they wished for was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free."

The future is ours.

The future is ours.

addressing him as Mr. Paul, why not congressman Paul or Dr. Paul

SHAME ON WRITER, addressing Ron Paul as Mr. Paul.. NO etiquette.. SHOULD address him as Congressman Paul or Dr. Paul.. So tired of these belittling slights.

That jumped out at me too!

It's hard to know if the writer is ignorant or has another motive.

Someday

you will here millions of people claiming they supported Ron Paul and really wish he would have been elected.

They believe they can afford

They believe they can afford to be magnanimous because they are thinking the threat is past...the ocean has receded, but little do they realize the Liberty Tsunami that is on it's way back!

A little too late for positive articles, NYTIMES...

Now that Paul seems to no longer be a threat to the banking-media institutions that own the NY Times, it seems they'll give Paul a nice little "going away" article.

Like other posters implied

that was done ONLY after the left realized that Ron Paul has been defeated by RNC. In order not sound completely socialist-progressive, NYTimes needs to introduce some "balance" for credibility from time to time.

It is like UK MI6 reminds the government owned entity, BBC, to regular criticize its own government as a way to boost credibility in the eyes of its readers.

My evil mind suggests

that they are throwing us a pillow and an ounce of credibility, so we will look like sympathetic victims when they go after Romney for his hypocracy and corrupt treatment of our people, in order to gain support Obama.

I would like to enjoy a moment of victory here, hoping there may be some respect there. But, it is the NYT.

Beware of "Greeks bearing gifts".

Don't Forget The 13,000+ Youtube Viewers

There had to have been easily 25,000+ viewers present on Youtube and at the convention. That's not mentioning all the other live broadcasts from FOX and C-Span. There could have been upwards of 50,000+ watching Ron Paul speak and hearing the message of freedom and liberty.

19-Year-Olds

The article quotes a couple of 19-year-olds; they must have been only 15 during the last convention, and 14 during the first campaign...

I like the trend toward freedom.

The key is to stay involved and not get so distracted by paying the bills and tending to the other necessities of life, that we loose track of how important our freedom is to that life.

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

One thing you will never read about Romney

is that he "Electrified the crowd".

There are no politicians or bankers in foxholes.

Hell Romney

can't even electrify himself to say nothing of his poor wife Ann! I feel that the 5 sons were artificially inseminated!

Just wish in mentioning that RP was "uncensored"

they'd have added "unlike what the RNC demanded of him were he to speak at the convention itself." But yes, thanks to the NYT for coverage of the rally.

Actually, there were a couple good articles on Ron Paul in today's paper. Here's one I just posted that I thought well covered the Republican Party in struggling for an identity. "Many of them [Republican leaders] said they feared it was hastening a march to becoming a smaller, older, whiter and more male party."

When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the Universe.
~ John Muir

And still Ron Paul has not dropped out or conceded.

What I took away from this past weekend was that the RNC is desperately scrambling and publicly showing it's corrupt nature every turn in the road as we get closer to this election. Many who are ignorant are not stupid, and they are waking up to, underhanded, deceitful, fraudulent, criminal, and violent realities of both parties. They are exposing themselves for what they really are to the American people and the world.

The truth will set us all free.

A day late and a dollar

A day late and a dollar short!

Everyone Will be Much

All the MSM will be much more respectful of Dr. Paul henceforth. Know why? Because he isn't a threat to become President now. Now the "news" stations that have been dodging him will have him on as a frequent guest because of the ratings boost he provides.

Yes, this is what we saw in 2008.

Yes, this is what we saw in 2008. As the things he warned about come true, they will pretend to be astonished. Then when 2016 rolls around they will call us all fringe lunatics again.

THATS why we vote Libertarian and show then we are REAL

And not going away.

MSM Just Might Not Exist by 2016

Let their ratings continue to drop as more and more turn to alternative news.
